The area and surroundings around the tents was beautiful and there was lots nearby to visit. The bathrooms and toilets were really clean and the host Faith was really helpful and friendly as were all the staff. The bar was really interesting to visit on the weekend. We had a lovely stay, thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at the Reforge. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of contact with nature, the coolest and most unique bar and friendly staff. The perfect heaven on earth.

It was simply amazing and such a privilege to stay in a converted Victorian carriage. It’s all very laid back and friendly and you are not interferes with in anyway but the hosts are easy to find if you need them. A must for a train lover. The carriage was clean and though fully furnished with the added luxury of fresh flowers and a welcome pack. We will definitely be recommending

Fantastic night away in a quirky interesting space !!!! Full of original items such as the original radio which our children danced to 💃💃💃 The fairy garden and pigs were the most perfect addition for our children aged 6 & 8 Accommodation was spacious with plenty of room for us all Enjoyed the fire pit when the sun went down Beautiful spot with plenty of wildlife !!!!!! Definitely visit this place you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Absolutely fab weekend away! This place is such a unique experience and has great facilities, including comfy beds and sofas, pots and pans, games, table tennis, and cool boxes which makes a camping trip super easy for everyone. We will definitely be returning next year!

This is a little beauty of a gem, so cosy and homely! Zoe was the perfect host very responsive with excellent communication. The caravan was so warming and welcoming with lovely little quirks like blankets, and essentials like linen, towels, salt, pepper, tea bags, toilet rolls which you wouldn’t normally have from a self catering stay. We were very pleased with our stay here and would certainly recommend!

The Big Hoot caravan did not let us down! The location was tucked beautifully in the quiet countryside. The caravan was pristine and really well put together with plenty of space for the four of us. The outdoor space was lovely and the bbq and fire pit were perfect! The weather was a bit up and down during our stay so having access to the play barn was great and kept both adults and children more than suitably entertained. We also really appreciated the location for star gazing and spent hours staring at the sky. Thank you for our stay and hopefully mine day we will be able to return for another visit.

We had a truly wonderful time at Andrew’s place - it felt both completely private and incredibly safe. As a single mother, that sense of security is one of the things I value most, and this spot absolutely delivered. The views were breathtaking, and just being there helped me properly unwind and detox from the pace of city life. Andrew was so welcoming.. he kindly carried all our things down and gave us a helpful tour of how everything worked. After that, we were left to enjoy the space in peace, which was exactly what we want. We had some amazing BBQs, played games, shared lovely dinners and drinks, and my dog loved it. Staying in the tent was such a fun and unique experience, and the bed was comfy, beautifully soft linen that made it feel extra special. Thank you so much, Andrew, for having us. My family had a lovely stay on Flays Farm. Nicola was there to greet us on arrival & gave us great instructions for the fire & hot tub. The safari tent was wonderful, clean & well appointed. The weather was pretty dire on one of the days but there were enough games provided to keep us occupied by the fire. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Wild Camping area. So peaceful and calm. Great night sleep. The shower and toilets were a short walk away and kept clean. There is a washing area for dishes too with a gas stove and whistle kettle to warm the water (or make a cuppa). Nice garden by these facilities with badminton net and rackets. Our granddaughter aged 4 visited us and loved the place. Freedom in a safe environment. Thank you! Kate’s place was absolutely perfect for me, my husband and our nervous rescue dog. The field was even bigger than I expected and it was lovely to be able to let the dog explore without having to worry that she could get out. The accommodation itself was quirky and fun and also super comfortable. Kate was an amazing host who made sure that we had everything we needed including a nice welcome pack with homemade scones, a lovely weekend away and so calming

Had a lovely stay at the farm . Matt was a great host and picked us up from the station , went through how everything worked and then left us to enjoy the farm. Especially enjoyed the feeding session . Where Matt took us around all the animals letting us feed them . Plus providing information about all of them. Would recommend for anyone looking to escape from the city.

We loved Brackenhill Glamping. Very private which was exactly what we were looking for. A fantastic location, very convinient to walk into the local village with 2 great pubs which both served fab food. Bedlinen was lovely, heated blanket was a real treat. What was provided was very thoughtful and a welcome addition to last minute items missed when packing. The BBQ, Fire pit and Hot Tub were well used, and initial thoughts on the hot tub were soon put to bed once it reached temperature, staying hot for hours, NICE ! The honesty shop was a really nice touch and not overpriced. Even a EV charging point Will definitely return ! Pauline, Eddie & Jon

Our weekend at the caravan was brilliant. Exactly what we needed - quiet location, surrounded by nature, short drive to Looe and Polperro. Caravan was tidy, cosy and had everything we needed!

The place is so nice especially with nature lovers, secure and we have a privacy. Angus is approachable, quick to response with our messages. We really enjoyed staying in Angus place. We were thankful for extra bonus the 5 free range eggs.

Well above my expectations, it was stunning! Very comfy beds, gorgeously decorated bell tent, clean and lovely views! The bathrooms are kept so clean! Private cubicles with sink, toilet and shower- most luxurious that I’ve seen on a campsite! Cafe great. Very friendly owners. Thank you.

A wonderfully wonderful place with amazing views over the hills with the sunset. A beautiful tent with a lovely bed, very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely located and equipped with every comfort. We will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone. Very welcoming family!

Went with a friend and it was our first time having a camping experience and it was definitely one of the best getaways I have had! Off-grid, peaceful, and a great laugh with others who were there to camp. Lovely surroundings with Sauna, dip in the stream, and natural hot tub. Above all, the hosts were amazing and we were very well looked after by Charles and his family who also took us around on his quad bike. Made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful environment, very peaceful and being right on Chagford common the surroundings area has amazing views. Walking straight from the tipi to the nearby Frenchbeer Rock enables you to see for miles across Dartmoor, it is so lovely. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, lots of little touches that are considerate and thoughtful. We were supplied with a generous amount of wood for the outdoor fire pit and the log burner inside the tipi. This kept us warm at night while we sat around the fire listening to the owls and watching the night sky and shooting stars. The tipi was very comfortable and cosy to stay in. You definitely leave feeling more relaxed! Thanks guys! Hope to see you again.
