Holiday rentals with breakfast in South Hams District

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

We had a great visit with our 4yr old grandson who loved playing in the garden, everything was clean and we had everything we needed for a great trip, highly recommend.

The loveliest stay with the loveliest woman. elegant space full of meaningful and beautiful furniture reflecting Hollie's principles and her way of living. She is as gorgeous as her house and makes very good packed lunches (in lieu of the breakfasts). Perfect for someone like me who did the Devon Weavers Course.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Beautiful little get away. Host was very friendly and accommodating . Extra touches were amazing. Bacon, eggs and a quaint little panty supplied with everything, myself and partner were blown away I would highly recommend

The 3 of us had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Felt truly relaxed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the Coach house was full of everything we needed, and catered very well for our 15 month old who had lots of toys to play with. The dog is great fun and friendly and its a lovely location to watch the many rabbits eating grass right outside the window. Will be back !

Pippa's place was perfect! She has very considerately created a great space for any visitor with many thoughtful touches. A quiet location close to the river, an incredibly comfortable bed, a great bathroom, a little sofa, and a straightforward tv (not as common as one might think!)--so a perfect spot to unwind at the end of a long day exploring all that Totnes and the surrounding area have to offer. And Pippa has lots of good information about places to visit and clearly has a love for the region. I can't recommend her as a host or her place highly enough. I would absolutely love to return.

Ideal for me as I was staying one night. Rachel made me feel very welcome and I found my stay very peaceful and relaxing. The room was very clean and tidy I would be happy to stay agin, thank you Rachel! Just a note:- the car park at the coop is free after 6pm.

Wow! Richard and Fi made us feel so at home and welcome . Everything exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was unexpectedly great. Able to put some of our things in the fridge(not just drinks!), what a beautiful house ❤️🍾and fabulous hosts. Thank you 🙏

Very quiet and peaceful location, and good for star gazing. Everything provided that I needed for my short stay. Stephen responded very quickly to all communications. I was travelling by motorbike, and the steep drive and vehicle area meant that I needed to park slightly unconventionally, but this was agreed with no problem.

Tonia’s place was a perfect location for us attending a friends wedding at the local church, a comfortably walkable distance. The place itself was lovely, clean & comfy, and having a parking space was a bonus also on those tight Devon roads.

We had an excellent stay here in Newton Abbott! Mike and Anna were really lovely and responsive. Looks like the pics and is a good size for a group of friends, beautiful decor as well. Would definitely go back!

Delightful stay. :) Hosts were helpful, friendly, and very welcoming, and the property is gorgeous! Set in beautiful surroundings, and felt right at home in the perfectly appointed accommodation - would absolutely recommend!

Nice compact apartment, but with plenty of space for the two of us and our large retired guide dog. Very well equipped with absolutely everything you need. Loved the breakfast supplies, containers of breakfast cereal, bread, spreadable and milk. But worth mentioning that there are quite a few steep steps down to the property.

I felt more than welcome the moment I arrived, both Carolyn and her husband (teddy I think!) were so kind and helpful. I’d come down to cycle and see a friend. On arrival I realised I’d left part of my bike at home. The hosts literally went above and beyond to help ensure my disaster was solved and I can’t thank them enough. The Airbnb was delightful, beautiful surroundings and perfect location, totally private yet so near all you could need. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay there and will be back, of that I’m sure!

This is the place to stay in Torbay. 10 minutes from shops, beaches and restaurants. Your own private parking in Paignton, bus stop at end of road, 5 minutes to train station (steam or BR), 10 minutes to harbour and ferries - the whole English Riviera on your doorstep and NO driving or parking worries. RESULT. Have to say that the 3 minute walk to a local, very friendly public house(Torbay Inn) was a bonus. The flat was well appointed and had everything we could possibly need and even lots of little personal extras in case we had forgotten anything. The breakfast bar and welcome pack were a lovely touch. Vicki was always very responsive to our requests and positive and supportive. RECOMMENDED. We shall return........

Wonderful stay, lovely place with handy amenities and great play area attached which my children really enjoyed. Short drive to Lyme Regis, had a fantastic time at the beach and exploring the area. Mary was a great host, and we were able to have flexibility with arriving and leaving which was really helpful too. Thank you!

We wanted a last minute place for the bank holiday and what a wonderful place it was! Julia’s farm was lovely the setting was amazing. Peaceful, stunning views and lots of friendly animals. Julia herself was a great host nothing was too much trouble. Everything from showing us around, tips with the hot tub and ideas for what we could do throughout the days. We’d love to go back for a night or five. Would highly recommend

Sheree and Brian, were great hosts and made us feel right at home. The place is lovely and so peaceful. Nothing was too much Trouble and they certainly had some stories to tell 😃 would definitely visit again.

Lizzie was a lovely host - very friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed, although small, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. A great location - right on the waterside in Dartmouth - and breakfast was excellent.

We had a lovely stay in Frogmore. Sarah was very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. She met us at the car and showed us to the accommodation which was just perfect for us. Over the few days we were there Sarah checked that we were warm enough and if we needed any breakfast top ups. Breakfast was very nice and the little table where we ate it had a smal vase of fresh flowers and greenery. A nice touch. Bathroom was nice too with plenty of towels. Would we stay again? Yes, if we come to the area again, we most certainly would.

Katie was very friendly and the view out of our window over the fields of sheep and cows was lovely. A very rural and secluded location, but within minutes of Ashburton. We will definitely stay at Katie‘s place next time we are in in Devon.

Amazing find of a place on the south side of Plymouth, near ferry departures. Friendly, helpful host and excellent response times. Great value.

Willow Haven was a lovely place to spend a night. It had everything you could need for a night or two, even longer if you are venturing out for dinners. The location is a little remote but was perfect for me and was extremely peaceful. Heather's instructions were spot on to help find the place. Heather was extremely friendly and responsive. Willow Haven was lovely and cosy, well laid out and had every home comfort you could need. I loved the accommodation, it was beautiful. I only stayed one night but would have been very happy there for longer.

A bright room on the upper floor with a nice view of the leafy surroundings. Hearty breakfasts provided. Was fun to talk with the many other guests. Belinda was a great host.
