Married on 25th May at Gretna Green, we arrived at Gometra’s North Pier on the 26th via my uncle’s fishing boat, welcomed ashore by young Rhoda. Genevieve and I cherished our solitude here, reminiscing about my childhood holidays at Gometra in the '70s. The gallery honesty shop next to Jane Anne’s was a delight—we sent postcards out from there! I climbed Fairy Hill, laying seaweed in memory of Jane Anne and the Mermaid. A magical start to our life together!"

A fantastic house. Clean, warm and homely. Everything you would need and comfy beds too. A very nice welcome pack which was much appreciated. Very close to an amazing beach. Lynda was really quick to answer all our questions.

Great, conveniently located mini-cabin in line with the experiences I’ve had on Tiree. Overall, just a nice island-people are kind, generous, and helpful and it’s about as peaceful as you can get in the modern world. Highly recommend these accommodations and visiting the island as a whole! Thanks again to my wonderful hosts!

Was our first visit to Tiree. We were a little caught out by lack of public transport. However Hana (and airport staff) was quick to help us out and sought transport for us. The house is in a beautiful spot and once we arrived we managed without a car due to easy access to beautiful beaches, supermarket and a restaurant. The house was super cosy, Hana responded quickly to any issues. The spare fold up bed was surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset and rabbits jumping around is very memorable. Would recommend. All folk on Tiree super helpful and friendly!
