Monthly Rentals in Quinan

Friends and I spent the long weekend at Amanda’s cottage and we loved it. Amanda provided all the information we needed and she was super friendly and flexible. The space itself is airy, bright and nicely decorated. The kitchen was super well stocked and we enjoyed making meals together each night. Finally, the outdoor space is awesome! Beautiful lakefront property with few other cottages in view. Where else can you play basketball near a lake? We took advantage of the fire pit the first night and enjoyed the sounds of loons and owls. Definitely recommend for a lakeside getaway but with tons of amenities and extra things you don’t usually find elsewhere.

Highly recommend this place!! I stayed here with three of my friends and it had everything we needed. It was a clear night and the stars were out so bright. This property also has beautiful views of the lake and is in a very peaceful area. To top it off, the host is wonderful at communicating! Check in was made extremely simple for us. Would definitely stay here again.

This spot is one of the best places to stay in nova scotia. It was super private and serene. The scenery was lovely and we loved hearing the birds chirping away. The Tusket river is great for a paddle and the property is close to Yarmouth and surrounding areas. Barrie and Sandra are lovely people with great recommendations, they even had a few gems for us to stop and see along our route home. We are lookkng forward to our next visit at the shack 😀

What a beautiful spot. I would not be able to come up with a complaint if I tried….okay maybe the black flies but that’s expected when you have a beautiful place surrounded in nature. Black fly season is soon ending anyway. The lake and sauna were wonderful and the fresh pretzels were so delicious! I know there was a previous comment about the dirt road being hard to navigate due to pot holes. That is no longer an issue as I have a small hatchback and got in just fine.
