Closed until June 1st!! Come stay among moss covered spruce woods in our village of tiny homes and misfit animals. Due to restrictions we are only able to have one party per week so we encourage longer stays. However we understand restraints and allow 2 nights during the winter months. Bike three miles to picnic by the ocean, swim or to hike up the western mountains. Take a short drive to Southwest fresh seafood and entertainment. Even enjoy avant-garde theater in a rustic barn by the sea.
“Sleeping in the woods and waking up with the sun was a great, enriching experience. I have had a wonderful time there, the forest is beautiful, the cabin is very cosy. I have met Candace and she kindly showed me around the farm where I met all her farm animals (emeus, pigs, a poney, a great Anatolian sheperd...). The park is not far from here and the setting is beautiful. I recommend.”
A safe haven in the outdoors! We are 15 min to Bar Harbor and 10 min to Acadia carriage roads. A 5 min walk to our pond to canoe or to fish! A cozy studio nestled in the woods, private, quiet, private parking.
“Briannas place is nestled into a rather quiet part of town. Access to most of MDI is about 15 minutes. The place is located above a 2 story garage and includes everythinga home would. Think of it as a well sorted out studio. Overall great price and great location.”
Located by the Giant Slide Trail and bordering Acadia National Park the nature enthusiast will enjoy the comfort and central location of this cottage on Mt. Desert Island. Making touring in Acadia easy with trails, sites, and Bar Harbor within easy access. Walk right from the cottage to access the carriage roads and the Giant Slide Trail which leads up Sargeant Mountain.
“This place is a gem. Sparkling clean. Cleaner than my own home. Felt more like staying at family’s house than a stranger’s place. Cozy, cute. We stayed in the winter, so everything is closed... but that didn’t stop us from cooking up a storm, exploring, and relaxing away from it all. Can’t wait to return.”
