Regarding Covid: I am fully vaccinated and I expect that you have have been vaccinated too. I can take up to 2 people (booked separately) per class and we will make ONE wood bowl in about 3+ hours. I will start by showing a brief video overview of what we will be doing, followed by safety instructions before we dive in. No prior experience is required. I provide active hands-on instruction, demonstrations and enthusiastic encouragement. You will make all the creative decisions of wood type, bowl shape and size etc. My goal is for you to do 90% of the work. I offer a selection of woods to choose from including locally harvested cherry, maple, and other hardwoods purchased from me directly on the day of the class. NOTE! I can schedule this event any time or day - just let me know what day or time you want. Other things to note: Plan on getting covered in shavings! Wear work clothes and roll up long sleeves, long hair must be tied back. I will provide all safety equipment and advice. I provide a variety of woods for the bowl you make. A materials fee of $12 to $30 covers the wood blank - I take cash or credit.

Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 1.5 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest along streams and through meadows. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages and they will be wanting to engage you to play and have you s or pet them. Along the walk, there will be wooden bridges over streams, soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack and the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions or for Show. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Tony, Katie or all. We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. *PRIVATE TOURS CAN BE SCHEDULED* This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike.

The Stonington archipelago has many route options, so after a safety briefing, we'll have a look at the chart together, and keeping in mind the weather and tidal currents, come-up with a plan for the day. Usually we'll paddle some version of the 'Archipelago Arc' a route strategy that enables us to paddle an 8 to 12-mile loop among the islands, while staying within 2-3 miles from our launch. We'll paddle about an hour at a time and take breaks on islands along the way, looking for a good lunch spot. Some islands have idyllic pocket beaches, while others have great granite slabs, erratic boulders and hiking trails with stunning views. If the group is in the mood for a swim, we can stop at a freshwater quarry pond for a refreshing (warmer than the ocean) dip. If desired, we can pause to learn or refine paddling skills. COVID -19: Check the State of Maine CDC website. Visitors may require vaccination, quarantine or negative test results. I also offer space to our guides, the spirits of place, and the ancestors who wish to be present. A healing session can induce an extremely comfortable state of being that can bring alteration in consciousness, support the immune system, help acute (injuries), chronic problems (asthma, eczema, headaches, etc), and aide the breaking of addictions. Please allow breathing room after your session. You will be in a nourished and grounded space, which is best suited to be supported by a nap or light walk in the woods.

Take a rest from the stress of the modern world and get ready to fall in love with cuddly corgis and patient ponies as they as they take you on a unique journey to a special place where you find hidden dwellings and discover the secrets of the fairies. BlissWood Forest is located in Coastal Maine one hour south of Acadia National Park. You will arrive at Corgi Bliss, in the town of Penobscot, on the edge of the forest. There you will meet your hosts, the ponies and the corgis, along with Jennifer or Katie. Drinks will offered, as well as a discussion about safety while walking with the loose pony and corgis. Folklore and legends will be shared and we will set off on our journey through the fields, and into BlissWood Forest. The easy hike is well maintained and goes at a leisurely pace. The loose pony and corgis will be scurrying about, ahead and behind us as they sniff the ground and try to pick up the scent of pixie dust. They will show you fairy doors that suggest secret dwellings along the way, and eventually we arrive at the top of the ridge to rest and let the corgis explore. There you will be surrounded by tall trees while the corgis show you around. We talk about fairy folklore and have the opportunity for selfies, kisses and cuddles from the ponies and corgis. Then we loop down the trail and return to CorgiBliss and take more photos, and say our goodbyes. Other things to note We will be outdoors in the fresh air and forest, with loose corgis and loose mini ponies searching for fairy dwellings. Wear shoes that protect your feet from pony steps. This is not appropriate or safe for strollers. Bring bug spray. Wear layered clothing. Enjoy the earthy smells and forest sounds
