Holiday rentals with lake access in Ohio

Amanda’s place was so incredibly gorgeous and absolutely perfect! The vibes were incredible. The view was incredible. My friends and I are actually thinking of doing a girls night like this annually because it was so amazing. We had everything we needed plus more. Thank you Amanda for this gorgeous Airbnb ❣️ we couldn’t have stayed anywhere better.

The Inn at Brandywine is so wonderful. Our family was able to spend time together and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We had a large group and there was no lack of room we had 4 boys who were able to be boys. Our host were amazing and had information on the area ready if needed in the house manual. They were great with communication.

Such an incredible stay at Chelsea's place! It's even more beautiful than the pictures. Amazing home, beautiful surroundings… Overall a wonderful stay. Will definitely be back.

We had a great time! Jason is a great communicator and does a great job of making sure that your questions are answered and that you feel at home. We took our own boat with us and the boat dock was nicely set up and easy to use.

Cozy Cottage is an utterly unique farmhouse architecturally beautifully designed and set on a unique Ohio cattle farm. The family in combination with our host Liz's sophisticated eye created magic. Hand made local antique ceramics, linens, a stocked breakfast supply on request in the smeg fridge, beautiful bedding plus modern and antique comfortable furniture perfectly and effortlessly make this a truly a special Airbnb. The cottage is a quick drive to Wheeling which has a great restaurant, Good Mansions Wines was our go to for gourmet food plus the cottage is a 20min drive to Dysart Woods a first growth Appalachian forest: this is my personal favourite area. We saw many birds around our cottage, a local groundhog, wild deer, hawks and fed the nearby delightful horses carrots !. Nearby you can walk to the lake and see the beavers. I highly recommend staying at the Cozy Cottage I had a wonderful work trip here. Thank you Liz & family I'd adore to return !

Thank you for the fun stay! We love your lake house. We especially appreciate the, relaxing location, private beach, awesome deck, ample comfortable patio furniture, and the kayaks and golf cart. A lot of little things made the stay more comfortable and fun too: coffee, sweetener for the coffee, extra blankets for chilly breezes, toiletries, fun games. Thank you!

We had a great stay, the place was super cozy and I felt at home, they also had a bunch of stuff available for us incase we forgot anything like chargers and toothbrushes. I would stay here again if we visit again.

Host Mama’s place was fabulous! The house had everything we needed and more. It’s in a perfect location close to everything. Host Mama was kind and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved the property. It was so nice to have the option to use the grill/ fire pit/ back yard. My husband loved being able to just walk down a few steps to enjoy fishing—which he did every morning and evening. We were only about an hour from Marblehead where we went to see the lighthouse and then took a ferry to Kelley’s Island. On the island, we recommend seeing the Glacial Grooves and the North Shore Alvar. Then an hour in the other direction, we were able to enjoy the views from the observation tower at Lake Erie Bluffs. And very nearby was Lakeview Park, which had a beach area with swimming. The views from the back yard at sunset were stunning. We had everything we needed for a nice relaxing stay by the water. Lee’s place was nice and clean. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to the park on the lake. It’s a good value and Lee had great communication.

Joshua's place was great! The place was clean, well equipped with everything I needed, and had easy access to the municipal parking lot that had ample parking available. I really appreciated the central air, making my stay very comfortable during the humid days. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location on the lake. Shaun provided lots of room to park our RV as well as a truck and a car. Very cute cottage that easily accommodates 6 adults. Easy to get to. We did not boat, but this would be a perfect rental if you have one!

I cannot say enough great things about this home. We were charmed from the moment we walked in the door. Every detail was thought of, there were personal touches around every corner, and they went above and beyond with their generosity. From extra toiletries we may have forgotten, dog bowls if you bring yours, to baby gear if you forgot something at home. They even baked us cookies! We’ve stayed at some nice places, but none have been as thoughtful as Kelly’s. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

We were in town for a music festival at legend valley and this location was perfect. Comfy place right in the canal and less than 10 minutes from the venue. Fantastic and would definitely stay again.

Went to the cabin for a girls weekend. Doug was great from the beginning with communication. The cabin its self was incredible clean, easy to find and just super cute. The back yard is just beautiful. The neighborhood was incredibly friendly. We would recommend anyone to stay here.

My husband, son and myself stayed for 4 nights while we visited the Eldora Speedway. Would stay again if it’s just us 3 going. When we arrived, the cabin was nice and cool. The place felt clean. The bed linens smelled nice and clean along with the towels. We did not have any problems durning our stay. The place does have a small hot water tank which is to be expected for a small place. Also it does have well water and there is a water softener which helps some. I can’t really comment on how comfortable the bed was because I am very picky but my husband slept like a baby and my son slept on the couch which he said was comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Overall as advertised. Would recommend!

Very cute place to stay and enjoy the view through the dining area window. My friends and I enjoyed playing board games, grilling, and having fires. Lake is swimmable and looks clean but we did not swim with the weather being very cold. Overall a very quaint place to stay with lots of nature (and birds) to take in and enjoy.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. The backyard is great! It was fenced in for our son, so he couldn’t escape and we liked using the hot tub at night with a pretty view. There’s a tavern next door which was great for a couple easy nights of dinner. The beds were SO comfortable! We slept great. The basement was also a fun spot to hangout at night. We are above average height so the ceiling in the basement was a little low but we could still enjoy the space. We went to downtown Cleveland almost everyday and it was an easy drive there but nice to stay close to the beach. The hosts were so friendly and very responsive. We would stay here again.

Our stay was beautiful and peaceful. It was located on a lovely lake with a small beach. There was a number of different birds and a flock of geese that spent time on the beach that was lovely to watch. There was plenty of windows that overlooked the lake and brought nature to us. The cottage was perfect for our needs, with lots of personal touches that included our dog. The deck was nice to have coffee and birdwatch, and our pup enjoyed it, too. There were plenty of games and activities to keep us occupied during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Unfortunately, it rained most of our stay and we didn't get to explore outside as much as we would have liked. However, it gave us the perfect excuse to relax and enjoy the cottage. Michelle was a great host and we look forward to visiting in the future. Our only complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer.
