Todd and Melinda are among the most thoughtful hosts I've ever encountered. They offered flexibility with check-in and check-out, stocked the apartment and refrigerator with snacks and beverages, and were all-around pleasant, kind people. I was there in the spring, so I got to see the amazing irises Melinda grows in their beautiful backyard. The town is charming, and the apartment is in easy walking distance. I walked in for morning coffee which I drank next to the waterfall for which the town is named! Fantastic space, highly recommend. I have friends in the area, so I may be back.

The place is great and the location is perfect for visiting Little Italy. The off street parking is ideal. Park your car and walk everywhere.

Peaceful and spacious and beautiful. Nicely provisioned. Easy check in, close to everything, but has a nice private view of woods from the windows

Our 3rd time to stay here! If we find our way back to the area, we’ll stay again. Great location on the lake and can access other parts of Northern Ohio very easily! Apartment was super clean. Appreciated the snacks!

The apt was perfect, exactly as described, clean, spacious. Tons of things easily walkable in the OTR area. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. I loved it, would def stay there again.

Lori's home was perfect for our trip and everything was as pictured/listed. Everything was perfectly clean and she has stocked supplies from shampoo to baggies. We messaged her twice with questions and received instant replies. She took a lot of time to respond to questions about visiting Cedar Point theme park and restaurants in the area. This listing is truly a great price for a stay at a beautifully decorated, cared for rental!

Our family rented all three units to stay, and the location was conveniently located to Kingswood where our daughter and son-law got married. Each unit was charming and had a different vibe. The owner answered our questions in a very timely manner.

Cozy and comfortable stay in Hamilton! Carol provided clear instructions on how to get in, where to park, etc. Very lovely historic building; it was nice to feel like a part of it even for a couple nights. It was in a great location, close to all of the fun things we wanted to see and do in the area.

This place is beautiful! Spacious and filled with light, it’s a good spot for a weekend retreat! Definitely worth staying.

If you’re in Columbus and looking for a great staycation spot, this is perfect! The area was incredibly cozy and we loved using the outdoor area as a place to relax and breathe. The space interior was so delightful too and full of character and charm! This is also just far enough out of Columbus proper to feel like you’re away from the loud hustle and bustle, but also close enough that you still have local places to visit and check out. :) Would highly recommend and stay here again.

The Sea Side Cottage lives up to its name!! I was stunned at the beautiful view and how close we were to the water. The Cottage was clean and furnished very much on theme. Dan was super helpful and accommodating with us!! I was impressed with the hard cover book of things to do and little notes about the area. (instead of papers in a binder) I have no doubt in my mind that I would stay again!!

The cottage was so much better than the description would indicate. Wonderful neighborhood and private beach. Jaime was always responsive and helpful and the area was lovely. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone staying in the area! *****

A Hidden Gem on the Water. From the moment we arrived, watching the golden hues of sunset reflect off the water was an experience in itself. But the real adventure began with the incredible activities offered. Kayaking along the shoreline, gliding through the peaceful waters and discovering hidden coves was the perfect way to soak in the natural beauty of this lake. The Pontoon boat ride was equally unforgettable, with our knowledgeable host, Matt, sharing fascinating stories about the lake’s history and the surrounding area. Learning about the local landmarks and the rich history that shaped this area made the experience even more special. The property itself is cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation. Whether sipping coffee on the deck or simply enjoying the fresh, crisp air, every moment here felt relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating.

The patriot suite was great for my family of 4 . With two small children we felt right at home. The kids played baseball in the backyard. The area is quiet and the neighborhood is nice. TVs in every room . The shower was amazing. The beds felt like we were sleeping on clouds. The washer and dryer worked great. And the dishwasher was a plus. Everything was easy to find . Josh is an amazing host with excellent communication skills . Our stay Exceeded our expectations. We have already booked another one of his units and he’s has a great selection of them . We know we’re in good hands booking with Josh !

Very quiet, comfortable and safe place in a quiet family oriented, well kept old neighborhood. Kristina is very clear and responsive and neighbors were helpful with eating establishment recommendations. The narrow approach to the parking area requires care to negotiate, as mentioned on the Airbnb site.

Experience exceeded expectations. The Airbnb had everything we needed. The pictures don’t capture how beautiful it is.. Everything felt new - walls carpets furniture do. Incredible scenic views, and park not far away for hiking. For folks looking for a private, quiet, rural, location.

Had a great and relaxing time! Plan on going again!

this was the perfect short getaway for my wife and I. very relaxing and peaceful setting with plenty to explore within a 15 minute drive. would definitely recommend considering this for your next relaxing / romantic stay!

My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

What a wonderful retreat! I stayed by myself as a little momma get away and it was perfect. The Zucchini bread is as good as everyone says! The hot tub was wonderful! The hosts were extremely responsive whenever I needed anything and really helpful! There are even games and toys for kids/toddlers if that is what you’re doing. I of course was vacationing FROM the kids toys lol but I love that if we go back there are things for the kids. Be advised that this is a basement apartment so you’ll hear footsteps and sometimes muffled voices just like you would in any house. It didnt bother me at all! The views are spectacular and the property is just so peaceful. 10/10 would recommend for sure!!

We had a great stay during our weekend up at Port Clinton. The condo is in great location within walking distance to most everything. A great sunset view from the deck made my weekend complete!
