Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ohio

We had such a wonderful long weekend at Oasis! The family enjoyed the pool table and hot tub, bidets, comfy beds! Beautiful home, lasting memories.

The Acacia is architecturally stunning and beautifully appointed; it’s truly one of a kind. The spaces are thoughtfully designed/decorated and immaculate. From check-in to check-out, our hosts were super responsive and easy to communicate with. The stairs are very steep, so keep that in mind. Highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area. The blueberry muffins were the best we’ve ever had; we are still reminiscing about them!

Perfect getaway to explore hocking hills. Home had everything we needed plus extra that made it feel special to the kids and the parents. 5 kids in ages 11-21 and they were all pleased with the house! That’s an amazing win. Beautiful yet simple decorations, perfect size, deck was thoughtfully arranged and provided atmosphere to make forever memories with our growing kids… thank you! Hopefully we will be able to come back next year.

Cozy Cottage is an utterly unique farmhouse architecturally beautifully designed and set on a unique Ohio cattle farm. The family in combination with our host Liz's sophisticated eye created magic. Hand made local antique ceramics, linens, a stocked breakfast supply on request in the smeg fridge, beautiful bedding plus modern and antique comfortable furniture perfectly and effortlessly make this a truly a special Airbnb. The cottage is a quick drive to Wheeling which has a great restaurant, Good Mansions Wines was our go to for gourmet food plus the cottage is a 20min drive to Dysart Woods a first growth Appalachian forest: this is my personal favourite area. We saw many birds around our cottage, a local groundhog, wild deer, hawks and fed the nearby delightful horses carrots !. Nearby you can walk to the lake and see the beavers. I highly recommend staying at the Cozy Cottage I had a wonderful work trip here. Thank you Liz & family I'd adore to return !

We loved our stay! It’s the perfect place to get away and have some peace and quiet! We enjoyed the privacy of the location but also that it was only 15min away from lots of great restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to relax and get away!

I really enjoyed relaxing here, I had the opportunity to be alone and enjoy the scenery, the time spent here will remain in my memory as a pleasant time, one minus was the weather, it was changeable and changed dramatically

We whisked my adult son and his fiancée away for a peaceful weekend and wedding at Hocking Hills. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect cabin to relax before the big day! It’s absolutely gorgeous. We loved the double master bedrooms and separate living area for our teenagers. Not one but 2 amazing decks?! The owners have created an amazing space here.

Overall, we really enjoyed the stay here. The hot tub worked amazingly and it was easy to use. The instructions and expectations were all laid out and nothing was overcomplicated. It really was a beautiful scenery and gorgeous interior. Perfect for “getting away from it all” to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

It was a very nice place to stay. I didn't realize it was so small, but it worked great for what I needed for the night and morning. I was unsure about the parking being safe since it was on the street parking. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to.

Spacious enough for one or two people. I usually stay far away from anyone, but being behind their house really wasn't an issue. 20 minutes outside Athens. Check out the nearby rural grocery store, which still has a non-electronic gas pump!

I would definitely stay here again, it was in the perfect part of town, we walked more than we drove.

We're very familiar with the area, so the location was great for the places we knew we wanted to visit during our stay. Comfy bed, hot tub was great, fireplace was nice since it was sort of unseasonably cool for late May. Would definitely stay again!

This accommodation is just full of character and darling. The bed was super comfy and we slept like a dream. The shower is fabulous. There were lots of nice little touches that made us feel very welcome. The pastries that Kim left as a treat were scrumptious, and so thoughtful. Located in a cute little historic downtown area, we had dinner up the block at a cute antique store/cafe combo. We wish we’d had a little more time to spend here.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The space was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the overall aesthetic was lovely. We would absolutely stay here again!

Outstanding location, always a responsive host, and the room is private and clean. It is always a pleasant stay, I highly recommend! The hosts are quite friendly but also give you privacy at the same time. Streaming movies, a grill, a patio … 5/5 everytime

the loft was beautiful! it seemed like we were the very first guests there. it was so clean! we enjoyed walking to the Record store in Columbus and the restaurants in German Village are amazing. would defiantly like to stay there again

Sid’s place was amazing! Was in a super neat place of Cincinnati. Sid’s place had a great deck overlooking woods which was super nice and peaceful to be in. All around was a super awesome place to be.

Nav was an extremely friendly and responsive host. And there was a yummy chocolate bar waiting for us! We had a small problem upon check-in that he went above and beyond to solve right away. He was open to our suggestions of how to make his place even better. The beds were extremely comfortable, the home was clean, the shower was hot and the place was spacious. The only heads up is that there were a lot of stairs to navigate: from the street to the unit, then a set of stairs from the front door to the main level, then both bedrooms are up a narrow spiral staircase. Might be challenging for some. The location was ideal for all of the wedding events we attended. We would definitely stay here again! Thx Nav!

The host was super kind and welcoming, and the place was clean and just as described. I really appreciated how easy check-in was and how responsive she was throughout the stay. Just a heads up — there is a train nearby that can be a bit loud at times, especially at night, but overall it didn’t take away from the experience. Would definitely stay here again!

All great things, all great things! This was one of our favorites that we stayed so far and we've been in several at this location! Also, this was the first time we fished right there on the water, and it was great fun! Ross was very responsive on a couple quirky questions, nothing impactful, all great! Would stay, again.

I had difficulty with parking, but it was quickly resolved by Corey! The accommodations were clean and wonderful!
