This place taught me a lot about myself that I needed to know. Nothing like a private place to unwind, relax and be yourself. Really close to hiking trails too, and with a hot tub. Plenty enough for me.

Went to the cabin for a girls weekend. Doug was great from the beginning with communication. The cabin its self was incredible clean, easy to find and just super cute. The back yard is just beautiful. The neighborhood was incredibly friendly. We would recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly the right size — cozy yet spacious enough to feel comfortable. Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained inside. The amenities were top-notch, and it’s clear the host put a lot of thought into making the space welcoming and functional. I especially appreciated the clear labels and detailed instructions for everything, which made settling in super easy. Would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested. Everything was as pictured or better. Ty and Megan were very helpful, polite, and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Definitely want to come back and stay again!

All good. The pull out sleeper love seats was just fine for me. I am middle aged man and my back isn’t in the best shape but we slept great. Was not a fan of the well water but we brought bottled water to use instead. Kitchen was just fine to make breakfast and smaller meals. Loved the hot tub and views of the river. Robert was a great host. All photos accurate. Thanks Robert!

Shari was very responsive and made us feel right at home. There was peaceful music playing when we walked in which is something I normally do at home - this was a lovely touch. Thank you for a great stay!

I cannot say enough great things about this home. We were charmed from the moment we walked in the door. Every detail was thought of, there were personal touches around every corner, and they went above and beyond with their generosity. From extra toiletries we may have forgotten, dog bowls if you bring yours, to baby gear if you forgot something at home. They even baked us cookies! We’ve stayed at some nice places, but none have been as thoughtful as Kelly’s. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

Megan was proactive and texted clear instructions before arrival so I didn’t have to go looking. She also proactively reached out with several reminders about home instructions the place looks like its pictures, and there is a pleasant scent provided by diffusers. The Roku was on the TV waiting for us. The kitchen is well supplied. You have to look a little to find the place, but it has a lot of privacy. Megan is a very good host.

Great place to stay. Very quiet neighborhood. Hot tub was amazing after a beautiful wedding. I would recommend staying here. Would definitely come back again.

This is one of my favorite places to stay. It’s the perfect place to go when you need to unwind but still be close to town. I’ve stayed here multiple times and every time it feels a bit more like home. I’ll will continue to book this place for all my visits to Wilmington Ohio. Sunsets and sunrises on the lake are amazing. There are bald eagles soaring overhead most times I’m there and other wildlife.

The place was lovely and we had a great time. I was concerned about the stairs since I have mobility issues, but the railing was great and I was able to get up and down without too much trouble. I did have some issues getting in and out of the bathtub, and going up and down the big step to the Master Bedroom, but it was manageable. Scott was very responsive, and even brought over dry firewood after it rained. Overall we had a very nice stay, and enjoyed the fusion of historical setting with modern amenities.

Visited here for the weekend with some Friends and it was a great spot and location ! Really appreciated how it was clean and the convenience of location and communication was definitely perfect. We just checked in with ease. Definitely recommend if you’re out in this area or even visiting the parks. Just a quick 30 min drive there.

Beautiful cozy cottage decorated beautifully so many little things included from coffee pods to soap and shampoo and more. You really didn’t need to bring anything except your clothes beautiful fenced backyard for doggies I can’t say enough about how comfortable it was staying in this cottage you won’t be disappointed And you can walk to Alessandro’s restaurant and a short drive to town and the beach

Was very peaceful and enjoyed very much! The kids had space to play ! And being by the fire pit and just relaxing was the best!

The cottage on the river was a nice treat and get away for my husband and I and our two grandchildren and dog. It was clean and comfortable, beds were very comfortable, loved having the area in front to fish. Quiet neighborhood other than the trains. That did not hinder our sleeping. We definitely rent again!

Excellent hosts. We forgot our laundry in the dryer and they were so kind to let us come back hours later to get it. Love this little cottage!

Jennifer’s cottage was a comfortable, peaceful and beautiful place , I loved the farm atmosphere, the beautiful view and the animals. The cottage was super accommodating, literally had everything I needed and more ! And opening the fridge to see fresh farm eggs ready to be cooked and eaten was a plus. The cottage was pristine, smelled great and very well maintained. It was a perfect weekend getaway for me and I loved every second of it , I will definitely be booking again in the future , the owners were super polite the goats and little horses were amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband, son and myself stayed for 4 nights while we visited the Eldora Speedway. Would stay again if it’s just us 3 going. When we arrived, the cabin was nice and cool. The place felt clean. The bed linens smelled nice and clean along with the towels. We did not have any problems durning our stay. The place does have a small hot water tank which is to be expected for a small place. Also it does have well water and there is a water softener which helps some. I can’t really comment on how comfortable the bed was because I am very picky but my husband slept like a baby and my son slept on the couch which he said was comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Overall as advertised. Would recommend!

The cottage was extremely peaceful and exactly what our family of 4 needed after our time hiking. Margit was an exceptional host! We would definitely recommend!

Very cute place to stay and enjoy the view through the dining area window. My friends and I enjoyed playing board games, grilling, and having fires. Lake is swimmable and looks clean but we did not swim with the weather being very cold. Overall a very quaint place to stay with lots of nature (and birds) to take in and enjoy.

We enjoyed our stay, and despite the chilly weather, the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Karen was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our cottage was newly renovated and just like the description. We look forward to coming back soon!
