The house and the hosts were absolutely amazing! The decorations, fresh flowers, welcome basket with greeting card, placement of towels and chocolates on the bed, binder of all their recommendations and so much more show how caring and considerate Giselle and Anne are. This has got to be the most comfortable and homey accommodation we’ve ever stayed at, and we can’t wait to be back again. Thank you so much!

This was my first stay in Nanaimo and on Vancouver Island and I couldn't have asked for more. The location is perfect for someone wanting a place a little outside the center of town and with minutes' access to a vast trail system. Westwood Lake and its trail system are a five-minute walk or run from the home. The back yard is huge and open and offers views across the Strait, with enormous Douglas Firs on the property and surroundings. The dog and goat are super friendly and will offer as much companionship as you want. The owners gave us all the privacy we needed, but were very responsive whenever we had questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again whenever I return.

Very clean, bright and spacious. All the amenities felt new and well maintained. It was quiet and completely separate from the main house, giving me a real sense of privacy. I stayed a little over a month and truly felt like it was my own home :) Carmen and Mike were wonderful hosts, super responsive and full of great local recommendations. I had an amazing time exploring the area! The town itself is beautiful and peaceful, and everyone I met was incredibly friendly. I loved ending the day with a walk on the beach which is just 5 minute drive away. And there’s an amazing lookout point with expansive mountain views less than five minutes away! As someone working remotely, I really appreciated how quiet and well equipped the space was, perfect for productivity with fast and reliable Wi-Fi. I also felt completely safe throughout my stay, even when coming and going at odd hours. Having separate parking was super convenient! Overall, a perfect stay. I'd absolutely come back!!

We were blown away by our hosts’ meticulous cleanliness, neatness, instructions and offerings; this was truly a bed & breakfast, with hard-boiled eggs, homemade muffins, fresh fruit, juice, bars, coffee, half & half, etc. The best Airbnb experience, over many years!! It was close to beautiful parks, beaches and restaurants. The view from the bedroom window was amazing, parking available & safe. Hosts were proactive and responsive. Privacy was afforded, as desired. We will definitely stay there again, when we’re in the area!!
