Cottage holiday rentals in Nanaimo

Our group of seven absolutely loved Danoosh’s place! Lots of amenities, short drive to town, private space, GREAT beds, lots of towels and flip flops for the hot tub! Right off the highway, so quite a lot of road noise (mostly during the day), but it didn’t bother our group at all - just something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to it. We absolutely loved playing badminton in the yard! Would definitely recommend Danoosh’s place.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home with two families and young children. The location cannot be beat - a few minute walk to the centre of town and right on the ocean. The home itself was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Corry was extremely quick to respond to a couple of questions we had when we arrived. We would highly recommend for anyone visiting Gibsons, with or without kids.

Very great place to stay for vacation. A LOT of attractions around Parksville. The host is very responsive and friendly and gave lots of suggestions. Great place!

Absolutely wonderful! The place is nestled in its own little apot of heaven. We were able to go on walks every day seeing the gorgeous wildlife all around us. It was definitely hard to leave when our time was over! 10/10 would recommend

An awesome cottage with everything you need , great area, clean well equipped. We loved it!

We had a wonderful vacation at Judy’s Seabreeze cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking basics, Saran Wrap and all the utensils you could want for cooking. We had our young children with us, and the pack and plays and sand toys made our lives much easier! The entire cottage was extremely clean and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I would highly recommend Seabreeze cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

This is a fantastic quaint little beach cottage to enjoy the island's natural beauty. Easy access to fun on the water. The family really enjoyed the lawn sports items the hosts provided. Thank you!

We had a great long weekend at Gloria’s cottage. The marina was beautiful to look over and the general store was convenient for basics. The staff were friendly and very helpful for recommendations around the island.

This garden cottage is absolute perfection! It truly became our home away from home. George and Marion are very friendly. They made excellent hosts. I had to change my reservation a few times and they were very accommodating. Great neighbourhood to walk my dog - only 6 minutes and I was on the beach watching the Eagles and Herons look for their next meal. Saw deer each and every time I went for a walk. Our pup also loved her naps on the grass in the sunny garden. We were sad to have to move on to somewhere new. Can’t wait until next time!

Judy’s place was very comfortable and well equipped. Furniture and beds were top notch. Judy arranged for us to use a neighbouring resort’s pool when hers closed for maintenance. She was a great host. We had a great time at her place and would recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pages, the location was beautiful. We enjoyed renting kayaks and exploring the bay. The nearby park also had some great hiking trails and beach. The cabin had everything you needed and the wood burning stove was nice to have on the chilly nights. It is about 15 minutes to the amenities in town and the ferry so not the closest if that’s important to you but we thought their little store had most necessities and didn’t mind.

Brian and Louise were very responsive hosts. They gave clear instructions on how to get to the home and how to get in. Location is near to beach, great restaurants, and the centre of Qualicum Beach is only a short drive.

Amazing stay at Myra and Ron’s place! Great place for families - the beach is very close and we appreciated the beach toys that they left for our kids to play with. The binder they created with places to go is really thorough. The place is clean and well equipped - we cooked all our dinners there and never missed anything. We stayed there 5 days and could have stayed longer! Thanks a lot!

the place is really accessible with public transportation, which can be a big plus if you dont feel like driving. The hot tub is amazingly good and clean. highly recommended for someone who wants a few days get away!

Beautiful, cozy, and peaceful cabin. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

My partner and I stayed here with our dog and two friends and it was a perfect space for us all. The house is eclectic (which we liked) and we really appreciated the peaceful garden with all of its birds! Would definitely visit again for a beautiful, calming island stay.

Our long weekend was absolutely outstanding! The location was stellar and we saw jumping fish, herons, and seals daily. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some delicious meals and we felt right at home. It was a rainy weekend but the home had games and a beautiful wood fireplace to keep us warm. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Our daughter had her first sleep in a “big girl bed” at your house, and our dog slept soundly on the floor beside her. We had the best sleep of our lives with the window cracked and the sound of the ocean. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at David’s place. It was the perfect spot and exactly like the photos we will definitely stay again. Only issue we didn’t stay long enough😉 it was the perfect getaway!!!

Hugh and Deb's place worked out great for us. We were visiting family nearby. The place was spotless, extremely clean and tidy. The hot tub was a nice bonus that we enjoyed. They were responsive hosts to any questions.

What a gem of a place. We were so excited to stay here. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and comfortable. The surroundings are stunning. We were so lucky with the weather which was perfect for spending time on and around the lake. Martin was the perfect host. Thank you very much - we can't wait to find an excuse to visit again for much longer!
