Sushi house is conveniently located on a main road and close to lots of fantastic restaurants and sights. The place is comfortable and offers all the comforts of home.

Beautiful neighborhood and clean traditional Japanese family home. Especially hospitable owners although they couldn’t speak English!

We had a great stay. The surrounding area has lots of beautiful scenery. Maru was a great host. Super helpful and with great local recommendations and always answered quickly. Maru House felt like a home instead of an anonymous rental. 5 minutes walk from the train station or supermarket, 2 minutes to Lawson. We stayed 4 nights and explored part of the Kumano Kodo trail, the Nachi Waterfall, the port, and even managed to go to an onsen with small children. We enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing the beauty of rural Japan and meeting friendly people.

We loved this place and decided we wanted to move to Nachi because of it! The host was very kind to us and the space really made us feel at home and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend visiting this area and, when you do, you should stay here.
