Located on the southern slope of Mt. Myoho, one of the peaks in the World Heritage Kumano-Nachi mountain range, this is a mountain hut-style private accommodation with a 180-degree panoramic view of the mountains and the Kumano Sea spreading out below.　 The accommodation building has a traditional Japanese sunken kotatsu fireplace and a wood stove, so you can experience rural life, warm yourself by the wood stove, and be soothed by the flickering flames through the glass. Vegetables, blueberries, and fruit trees are grown on nearby farms, and you can experience picking them. We also raise chickens, so you can enjoy a slightly different morning egg rice with freshly laid eggs. You can also enjoy nature and refresh your mind and body in the midst of the seasonal scenery. As a Japanese cultural experience, there is a calligraphy lesson by a young female calligrapher. Reservations are required and it costs 1,000 yen per person for about an hour. The host can't speak Japanese, but thank you very much. The first floor has a kitchen, toilet, bathroom, living room, and entrance bedroom 6 tatami mats. The second floor is a bedroom with 6 tatami mats. The nearest bus stop is Ninosebashi Station.Look for the light sign.　 There are hot spring facilities and restaurants about a 10-minute walk away. Restaurant Closed at 8: 00 Snacks around 9: 00 The reception closes at 9: 30 The living room is equipped with a projector. You can enjoy movies on the 100-inch large screen. The toilet is a shower toilet. Feel free to use the washing machine with a dryer. We also have most of the things you need in the kitchen.

Mikiura Guesthouse

Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains, and located close to the World Heritage of "Kumano Kodo" You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We only take one reservation everyday so when you stay at Mikiura-Guesthouse is yours to use privately.

Kumano house

between kamikura shrain and hayatama shrain at the walk 10min. It takes 15min by walking from house to JR Shingu Station. There isn't anyone in the house. You can relax very much. Other things to note. This place has an official permission from local government and satisfied fire safety as a short term rental accommodation. Please note that we have legal obligation in Japan to request copy of passports.
