Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Munich

Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen, die Gastgeber Irina und Dominik waren sehr freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend! Die Stadt ist schnell und einfach zu erreichen und selbst wenn man nicht in die Stadt möchte ist in der Unterkunft alles gegeben um vor Ort Erholung oder Spaß zu haben.

The house was a perfect place to stay for our family. It fit a group of 8 with no problem and it gave us a nice atmosphere to gather in the mornings and evenings. The train station was minutes away by foot for going into the city center. Janka, our host, was incredibly friendly and quickly responded to our messages. We highly recommend this location to anyone with a bigger group who wants to stay in Munich.

Wir waren 2 Ehepaare und wollten Wandern. Da gibt es in der Gegend viele schöne Wanderwege. Calimoto hat da geholfen. Fußläufig ist eine gute Wirtschaft in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Wir haben auch gerne einmal die Sauna im Garten genutzt. Nachts ist es ruhig. Nächstes Jahr kommen wir wieder und bringen unsere Fahrräder mit. Abends konnten wir an dem großen Esstisch auch Spiele machen. An dem großen Fernseher konnten wir den letzten Spieltag der Bundesliga verfolgen. Dunja hat auf Anfrage Tipps gegeben und ist sehr freundlich. Grüße Johannes

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus von Helmut & Paula. Die Unterkunft war top ausgestattet & sehr geräumig. Die Kommunikation rund um unseren Aufenthalt war immer super schnell & sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house, which is just a 25-minute drive from the center of Munich. The location was perfect for us – quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to the city to enjoy all that Munich has to offer. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and we especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The hosts were fantastic – very pleasant, responsive, and helpful. They answered our questions quickly and made sure we had all the information we needed. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base near Munich. We would be happy to stay here again!

A lovely place to stay. We loved spending time on the patio and looking out at the beautiful view. Lots of space to relax in. All the bedrooms are stunning and spacious. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Munich.

Con Aprile 2025 è stata la nostra quinta volta come ospiti nell’appartamento di Angela. Siamo tornati tante volte perché è un posto magico, lo abbiamo amato in tutte le stagioni. Wir waren eine Woche bei Petra und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Die Kommunikation mit Petra war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und die Ausstattung war sehr umfangreich, nur Tesafilm haben wir nicht gefunden ;) Wenn wir etwas verbessern könnzten, wären es nur die Matratzen, diese empfanden wir alle als austauschfährig. Unterm Strich hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt und kommen gern wieder 🍀

We loved staying at Victoria’s beautiful home. The accommodation was amazing and looks even better in real life. The kitchen was modern and had everything you needed, we had two family groups staying together and there was plenty of space. We were going to stay in Munich but so glad we didn’t as the countryside and lakes in the area were wonderful too visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks to the hosts who were very welcoming.

Der Turm ist schon sehr besonders, und mal was anderes. Die Hinweise von anderen Gästen, es wäre von der Straße her, sehr laut, bestätigte sich. Aber das hat man ja dann schon ahnen können. Das WLAN war sehr instabil Aber ansonsten war alles sehr nett, und so mitten in Füssen war es schon genial. Und da wir nicht mit Auto Vorort waren, war es auch sehr von Vorteil, dass es gleich gegenüber einen großen Supermarkt gibt. Alles im allem, hatten wir einen sehr schönes verlängertes Wochenende.

The location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. I particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the lovely views from the windows. Andrea was a fantastic host, always available to answer questions and provide recommendations, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Andrea's home. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return!

Die Unterkunft von Nicola war super! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt – alles war sauber, gemütlich und genau wie beschrieben. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass wir ein bisschen später auschecken durften, um das Frühstück in Ruhe zu genießen. Die Kommunikation mit Nicola war herzlich und unkompliziert.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und lichtdurchflutet. Morgens konnten wir die Sonne direkt in der Unterkunft genießen, und der Garten bot die perfekte Möglichkeit, die warmen Sonnenstrahlen in völliger Ruhe aufzusaugen. Alles war perfekt: Die Unterkunft war sauber, die Betten waren bequem und mit herrlich dicken, kuscheligen Decken ausgestattet. Der Kamin sorgte für Gemütlichkeit, und im Keller gab es sogar einen kleinen Fitnessraum mit allem Nötigen. Hubert und Ines waren großartige Gastgeber – immer schnell in der Kommunikation und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sogar Schlitten zur Verfügung gestellt! Eine absolut tolle Unterkunft und fantastische Gastgeber.

La casa di Annika è fantastica e la consiglio senza alcun dubbio. E' molto pulita, spaziosa, ben arredata e dotata di ogni confort. Si nota l'impegno con il quale Annika la cura. Il giardino e la terrazza offrono poi un apprezzabile valore aggiunto nel caso in cui vi sia bel tempo. La posizione è ideale perché è vicina al lago e consente di raggiungere con facilità molte altre belle località della zona. A poca distanza si trovano supermercati, negozi e ristoranti. La comunicazione con Annika è stata facile e veloce. La ringrazio molto per il bel soggiorno!

I had been eyeing this Airbnb since winter, when I saw its lovely Christmas decorations in the listing photos. The host clearly puts a lot of thought into the place, and it seems like the decor changes with the seasons. This time, we stayed here as a stopover during our hiking trip to the Alps, and it was a great experience. The location is perfect—conveniently situated between Munich and the Alps. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive—always happy to help with anything we needed. We were also warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift, which made us feel truly cared for. It’s a cozy and well-equipped space, ideal for families or small groups. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Our family holiday started in Rust, Germany and ended in Munich, we enjoyed our holiday in Germany and this was a great location if you’re looking to travel around the City!

Wir hatten das große Glück, in diesem wunderschönen Haus zu übernachten – es liegt auf einem paradiesischen Grundstück, das wirkt wie aus einem Feenland entsprungen. Das Haus selbst ist unglaublich geräumig, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich – einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Wir waren zu zehnt und alle waren begeistert. Es ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos! Wir haben jede Minute genossen und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Was für ein traumhaft schöner Rückzugsort mitten in der Natur! Die Suttenhütte ist nicht einfach nur eine Unterkunft – sie ist ein liebevoll gestaltetes Zuhause, das mit so viel Herz und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Einfach mega. Jeden Morgen wurden wir von einem neugierigen Fuchs begrüßt. & der Sternenhimmel ist ne Wucht.
Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und gespürt, dass wir hier willkommen sind. Es ist ein Platz zum Ankommen, wohlfühlen. Dieser Ort schenkt Ruhe, inspiriert und lädt zum Träumen ein. 
Von Herzen freuen wir uns schon darauf wiederzukommen.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.
