Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lugano

My girlfriend, our little dog and I were looking for a place to relax, enjoy nature and be far away from any city stress. If you’re looking for something similar, there’s no place better than Silvano‘s place! It has beautiful scenery, an amazing view, a rustic garden and a very nice house that feels welcoming!

Sandra is a very friendly and helpful landlady. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love and my husband, I and our dog felt completely comfortable. The view from the terrace and sofa is unique and the kitchen has everything you could want. A dream apartment. Another plus is that the restaurants, villages and Locarno are also within walking distance. Thank you Sandra, to another time

I immediately felt very comfortable in the small, lovingly furnished cottage. The location, in the middle of nature, is particularly noteworthy and the enchanted garden is perfect for relaxing. Barbara provided me with all the necessary information in advance and was available at any time for questions.

Simply a great place to stay for holidays in Ticino. Brigitte personally welcomed us and showed us everything. She gave us great recommendations for the area, which we tried directly and enriched our vacation with her knowledge of Ticino. The Ticino house is very nice, practical and thoughtfully furnished and offers wonderful seating especially outside with great views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore in the distance. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances all work great. The wine cellar also invites you to try. We are always happy to include the box of guidebooks, maps and brochures in our daily planning. We also liked the location of the house. A little away from big main roads, but also not too far away. So the trips to the excursion destinations were very pleasant and shopping facilities were also easy and quick to reach by car

This is an amazing property located water front with a charming walking path surrounding the lake. The views are magnificent. There are a couple of nice eateries nearby and jumping on the ferry is fairly easy..via uber or taxi. We hit a couple of rainy days but didn’t mind tucking in and relaxing with a good book while engulfed in breathtaking surrounds. The residence is squeaky clean, very well equipped and comfortable for a small group. Deborah was very responsive. We highly recommend this property.

The stay at Donatella's was very nice. She is a warm and friendly hostess. A small older apartment with everything you need. You can walk to the village and stop at the bar opposite, as well as buy small items for daily needs.

Beautiful place! It really Felt like a home. Marisa made this place with great taste and a personal touch. The hospitality was great and Kind. We had an amazing time here and will definitely recommend it to anyone that comes here.

He was a friendly and caring host. The garden of the house is incredibly beautiful. We were pleased.

Very clean and neat top floor apartment, awesome for family stay. Great interior design and all the appliances one may need. Astonishing view from the balcony. It was cozy even during heavy rain. Secure parking on the premises, which is big deal in the area that has shortage of parking spaces. The host was absolutely amazing and willing to go an extra mile to make our arrival, stay, and departure comfortable. A couple of tips: Drive up the hill appears to be a bit steep and narrow for someone used to wider roads. Good pizza place close by. A nice hike further up the hill. The locals start driving early and both bedrooms face the street so it can be a bit noisy in the morning. There are a couple of construction sites in the vicinity but to our surprise they weren’t a disturbance at all. The best shopping area is Fuentes in Calico about 15 min drive around the northern tip the lake.

Perfect stay in a superlative place: we were looking for peace, tranquility, well-being, contact with nature and privacy...here we found everything, even more so! We were able to fully take advantage of all the services offered and I have to say that sauna and outdoor bathtub are a must. The greenhouse is a delightful corner where you can refresh and get lost, wonderful! Impeccable cleanliness, Marina is super friendly and helpful, the place is enchanting, cared for and welcoming, fully enjoyed stay...so thank you Andrea and Marina, we will definitely be back! The home was very welcoming, clean, and beautifully rustic. The house is in a quiet location with a lovely view of the lake, and the directions we were given allowed to get there with no problem. Also, we were greeted by fresh eggs, juice, sweets, sparkling wine and other gifts at the place, which is very nice and commendable. Any recommendations for this place if you want a quiet and enjoyable vacation, we felt right at home.

Nicola is not only an outstanding host but a great human being, someone you will enjoy having a chat with. He made me feel at home taking care of the smallest details. The bed was super comfy. The flat was spacious including a beautiful balcony. The shower was powerful and hot. Everything was spotless! Last but not least I could hear the silence at night in that place, yet only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Ascona where you can find everything you wish for. A great stay and fantastic value for money! I hope to be back soon!

Best host ever and best trip ever! Renato was incredibly kind and welcoming. He stayed in touch weekly before my stay, sharing tips and fun things to do in the area. When I ran out of euros, he even offered to exchange money for me out of his own pocket — truly above and beyond. I stayed alone and felt completely at ease. The home is beautifully decorated with a charming rose garden planted by his mother. I loved laying out in the backyard on sunny days with the stunning mountain views. The neighbors were so kind, and I felt very safe. The walk to the shops and town center in Bellagio was absolutely dreamy. I was in town for a wedding at Villa del Balbianello and the weather was perfect — the whole experience felt like a fairytale. I will absolutely be back!

Charming secluded place with a great view over the valley and the mountains and sitting at night in the warm jacuzzi under the starry sky is an unforgetable experience. Nicola was a great and friendly host who sent us clear instructions and tips and was helpful and responsive even during our trip. I hope we will plan another trip to this place!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Noemi responded quickly and attentively to our questions and concerns. Above all, the explanation by video on how to use the pellet stove was very helpful. Since it was a cool, rainy day, it was very nice to be able to heat up a little. The property is also good for people who arrive by Postbus like us. There is a small shop in the next village that has everything you need on vacation. And the nature, the tranquility are wonderful.

The stay with Devid and Fabio was wonderful. The cottage is tastefully and modernly decorated, the beds are comfortable. There is a nice rain shower and the kitchen contains everything you need. But, the best thing is the view of Lake Como. What a beautiful panorama that is a little different every day. In the red book, Devid and Fabio have collected a lot of practical information and ideas for excursions, we have visited a number of them: without exception, they were successful. In addition, Devid gave us all kinds of good advice and guided us well in the process of arrival and departure. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for that.

Absolutely recommended! The Rustico is fantastically located, beautifully quiet and in harmony with nature. Beautiful rustico, practical and very stylishly furnished. Lots of nearby excursions. Communication with Bernadette was excellent. She was very helpful and gave me good tips for excursions. I'd love to come back! Thank you so much for the unforgettable holidays!

A beautiful place in the middle of the woods – highly recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was always helpful. He gave us all the important information, so we immediately felt comfortable. It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to refuel super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Great place to stay for some peace and quiet. Very rustic feeling. Also be ready for some improvisation since electricity isn‘t guaranteed and you may need to improvise a fridge to keep food cold or have dinner in the company of a cozy gas light. All in all a great place to stay and Maru was super friendly and helpful

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!
