Monthly Rentals in Laga Bay

we arrived at the cottage a little later than check in. The first thing that stood out for us was just how cozy the place was as the photos do not do it justice. Seonaid was communicative throughout our stay however we unfortunately never got the chance to meet her as we were out and about enjoying the amazing surroundings the area has to offer. The cottage is in an ideal location for exploring the whole of Ardnamurchan. we enjoyed our evening's relaxing by the fire for there was plenty of fuel available on site at no extra cost. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen area is well equipped to cook. Perfect for for self catering as food and restaurant's are limited in this area. however can be found if you are willing to travel. Near to the cottage is the river Shiel ..... There is a bench just a five minute walk away where you can sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. we will hopefully return in the future.

Had a fantastic stay for a couple of nights in the Shepherds hut. Paul & Caroline are excellent hosts. They gave clear instructions for how to find it, the hut is exactly as described and has everything you need for a short stay. It was peaceful, cosy and relaxing. It is very handy for the ferry to Tobermory and there are lots of other lovely places to visit nearby too.

Our few days at The Tower were nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the comfort of the accommodation and the charm of dining alfresco, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the gentle sounds of nature. Each day felt like an adventure, as we set out to explore as much of the area as possible. The Tower is perfectly placed for getting out and about — whether for scenic drives, walks, or wildlife spotting. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and enjoyed bright blue skies every single day, which only added to the beauty of the experience. A true highlight was our final evening, spent at Ardnamurchan Point Lighthouse, where we watched the solstice sunset in peace and awe. It was a truly special moment that we’ll never forget. And for me personally, seeing a pine marten bound across the road right in front of our car was a magical encounter with nature that captured the spirit of the place perfectly. Rebecca was a very nice host and we really enjoyed the accommodation and the location in the middle of the nature without having many other tourists around us. We can also recommend the little bakery in Acharacle. :)
