We woke up each morning to the sound of tropical birds and enjoyed fresh coffee on the balcony overlooking lush greenery. What really sets Hotel Zócalo apart is the vibe – it’s peaceful, inviting, and full of character. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool or enjoying locally-sourced breakfast it all feels effortlessly comfortable. The location is perfect close to beautiful beaches, adventure excursions, and vibrant local culture, but still tucked away enough to feel like a true retreat. If you’re looking for a place that offers an unforgettable experience, Hotel Zócalo is it.

This place was amazing! We have stayed in hermosa many times and love the area. This trip we traveled with 6 couples and a few kids and had plenty of space. The open area common area is big enough for everyone and having the pool was amazing. We truly appreciated the daily maid service and the recommendation for a private chef was incredible. Liza cooked us 5 breakfasts and 3 dinners and all were spectacular, on time, and had plenty of food for everyone (always had leftovers). Not having to waste time grocery shopping or doing dishes was a huge plus! For anyone who may book her just a heads up that the expectation is to pay for groceries after each meal (she provides receipt) and then you’ll pay the service charge at the last meal (it’s very reasonable). It was a little tough for us to communicate so took us some time to put that info together. Figured it’d help someone else! 10000% want to come back and stay here.

Our stay was great. Felt right at home. Had all the amenities listed. Some extra blankets would’ve been great but besides that everything was amazing. Pool and mini golf was a fantastic amenity though you do have to make a reservation for mini golf. Brian was responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

Great location, a short walk from the beach. Spacious bedrooms and living area. Maud is a very considerate and accommodating host.

Todo muy lindo y mi familia disfrutó mucho. Es la tercera vez que vamos a la casa y siempre la pasamos super bien.

We absolutely loved our stay. The 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants was easy and always full of adventures. The backyard is an oasis where you never knew what to find. We watched groups of monkeys hang out. A sloth chill for the day. Macaws 🦜 fly by and endless amounts of hummingbirds feed on the foliage around. It was such a peaceful yet convenient location that made us not want to leave.

The house and property were as described and expected and we were extremely happy with our stay! We were specifically looking for something outside of the typical tourist spots and Gary’s place did not disappoint. Gary specifically stated that the mosquito population at his house was low and he was absolutely right! Just a few tips and recommendations for other potential visitors. - The kayaks must be taken down the hill to the beach for each use for security reasons. We hesitated to use them until our last day for this reason but we wish we hadn’t. Gary made it very easy and he took them down on his car. It’s an easy paddle to some snorkeling and nice beach areas. You can avoid paying for parking and hauling gear. - there is a public road between the pool area and beach where locals like to park and hang out. Shrubbery gives visual privacy but you may hear music. This did not detract from our stay. Overall we absolutely recommend this house to others.

Excelente estancia, todo muy bonito.Solo los guardas de la entrada principal eran muy lentos y como que no se comunicaran entre ellos fue lo único medio incomodo

El lugar está súper bonito! Me encantó lo fácil que fue el acceso, la casa estaba impecable y nos encantó los diferentes espacios. Fui en familia y me gustó que tenían algunas cosas para jugar, mi hijo y yo aprovechamos el espacio para jugar tenis y futbol en el área verde junto a la piscina. La comunicación fue excelente y siempre contestaron mis preguntas. Excelente host, súper recomendado!

Great apartment at a secure location. Pool just outside and access to the beach. Access to the casino next door with restaurant options and an even bigger pool. Can walk the street or beach to the downtown in 20 minutes or get a cab/Uber if the weather is too hot.

Beautiful apartment, well equipped. Great location with access to the beach, a great view and friendly and helpful host. Will be back!

David's place was absolutely amazing. The inside was so clean better than any hotel. Everything was so comfortable very well decorated. I love the views from the window. The most amazing thing is the only thing between the home and the beach is the pool in between. It was a lot closer than anybody has described on his previous descriptions. If you're looking for a place, that's close by the beach and walking distance from everywhere and a nice place to stay David's place is the best.

Mi familia y yo nos venimos muy contentos de esta hermosa unidad, todo estaba en perfecto estado. Su ubicación es excelente muy cerca de todo. Los recomendamos 100% ☺️

We stayed with my family of four for five nights and the apartment was as comfortable as expected. It is located in a very secure condominium steps from the main road. Some of the bonuses of the place are in suite laundry, beach chairs and one beach umbrella. The pool was also very enjoyable. Fiorella was also very responsive when we asked for beach towels. Just a couple of minor things to consider: there are not much cabinet storage at the kitchen. Also to be mindful that the smaller room does not have a window but a skylight that lacks blinds (it gets very bright very early in the morning). All in all, we definitely recommend Fiorella’s place.

Primero que todo felicitar a Mary por la excelente atención y trato respetuoso que nos brindó en todo momento, el lugar es realmente hermoso y cerca de restaurantes y supermercados. El acceso a la playa es de 5 minutos caminado, solo cruzar una calle y estás disfrutando de los mejores atardeceres. El lugar es impecable y está provisto con todo lo necesario para una estadía placentera. Sin duda volveríamos a visitarlo!!
