Monthly Rentals in Housatonic State Forest

We had a long weekend stay at the lovely “Loft in the Pines”. It is clean, cozy and comfortable, yet spacious in a woodsy setting. And the 2 decks, which add natural light-perfect. So relaxing, we felt at home immediately. We enjoyed everything. And a very short drive to town and the trail. I’m telling everyone! We hope to come back soon. Hosts, Rachel and Mark, are so gracious and welcoming.

Our third time here. Great stay, so cozy and full of light. Pooch friendly. Perfect location for hiking and restaurants too.

I booked this Airbnb for a crew working on a nearby project. John’s instructions included lack of cell service, remote location, darkness and stairs outside, a home filled with antiques …. all worrisome to me handing this place over to people I didn’t know. Each one told me it was perfect, and each for a different reason! One loved the furnishings, one loved the rural feel, one loved the architecture … everyone felt it was a special treat at the end of long days of physical labor. Great experience.

A rare gem; Cute, adorable, cozy, impeccable cleanliness and a fabulous owner! What more does one, or, two need to become a great getaway? Nothing because Rebecca has thought of it all and you don’t need to! Everything is so comfortable and inviting. What a great time we had at her spot! Plenty to do in the area from shopping to dining to a rodeo and dog show. We packed it all into 3 days and had a great time. We’re thrilled to have found this peaceful and tranquil spot.
