We absolutely loved our stay at this house! It's really new and spotless – everything feels fresh and well-maintained. The huge windows give you an amazing view of the lake, which is gorgeous. You really don't need to bring much with you because the house is fully equipped with everything you could want. It’s the ideal spot to relax, unplug, and enjoy some peace and quiet with nature right outside your door. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic – super clean and worked perfectly. Arne was really responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. We definitely recommend this place and are already planning our return trip!

We had a wonderful stay in tretoppen. It is wonderfully quiet and the location is beautiful, nestled among the trees. From which you have a view from all sides through the large windows. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful. There was a problem with the hot tub and that was resolved super quickly, very nice! The only thing that could still get an upgrade is the furniture.

We have had two nice stays of one week each in this cozy forest house. Idyllic location with great sea view and deer in the garden. Cheerful host. Recommended!

A cosy, secluded cabin with traditional feel to it. We immediately felt at home and were positively surprised - the pictures do not give full credit to the ambience. The cabin has afternoon sun and a great view across a lake. Cross country tracks are just outside the door, and getting up on the mountain plateau to the east (for more adventurous cross country or ski touring) is just 5 minutes by car up the hill.

It was a perfect vacation surrounded by peace and nature! I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Forests around, a lake where you can go boating. Very grateful to the hosts.

We had an amazing stay at Camilla's place in Eidsvoll! The location is both practical and idyllic – close to grocery store and main road, and easy to find. We stayed here for one night with baby and everything was made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Camilla is a wonderful host – service minded, heartwarming, polite, and incredibly quick to respond. She made us feel very welcome from the start. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, very clean, and offers both privacy and tranquility. The bed was great, the area is quiet and beautiful with nice hiking opportunities right outside the door. The cozy old building has all the amenities one needs and the little extras: the sauna was an experience – we even saw deer from there! The hot tub was also great, and the private outdoor area with terrace gave an extra sense of luxury and tranquility. Highly recommended – we are happy to rent from Camilla again

Close to scooter trail, perfect winter place for those of us who love to ride a scooter 🤩🎉🐣 Good with kitchen utensils, tubs and frying pans. Could be the door between the two bedrooms and the beds could have been slightly better. Otherwise, everything was great 🥰

Great stay, friendly staff and responsive. Living room, kitchen and dishes were not clean, however after contact with Vildhem we did get a reimbursement for this. All cleaning material is available for self cleaning. Awesome peaceful surroundings and close to all the fun and nature experiences

We (a family of six and a dog) spent two relaxing weeks in the cottage. In the 1st week, thanks to the sunny weather, we just spent time on the private jetty, went swimming & explored the lake via SUP. In the 2nd, cooler week, we enjoyed the peace & quiet of the area around the cottage, sat around the campfire, visited Karlstad, Arvika & Charlottenberg & picked blueberries while hiking! If you want to take home a hand-carved souvenir, you should stop by the Sneckarboa-house in Fredros! Mattias was always available via phone to answer our questions (but actually the great cottage manual is all you need) and welcomed us with a little present! The cottage is cosily furnished and offered us everything we needed. But, if you're looking for luxury, you're in the wrong place. We had to get used to the noise from the road, mainly at closing time, but after a few days we no longer noticed it. We really enjoyed our time here!

Pleasant and nice accommodation. Close to the lift and restaurant. However, I would have liked to have coffee at Toppstugan, which unfortunately was not open. I've heard that it's supposed to be a great place for coffee. Nice ski slopes, quiet and without a lift queue. Pleasant to have the dog in both the cabin and restaurant . Please check back again.

Great location, accommodation and host. Easy to find with very warm and rustic facilities. 10 minute drive from the ski resort with a bus stop right outside the gate to get you there as well. Hosts were helpful and responsive. Would recommend!

Cozy cottage that had everything you needed. Cozy little extra cottage in the yard with 4 beds.

We found what we were looking for in Värmland, silence, nature, solitude, mushroom picking, hiking, relaxing on the terrace, barbecue overlooking the lake, swimming in the lake, boating. A small coop with everything we needed every day is in Skillingsfors. For hikes, nature reserves are accessible by car. We hardly met people here. Map and compass are an advantage. There are hardly easily walkable hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of the house, which we knew. If you need little infrastructure like restaurants or the like and many people for your well-being, you're in the right place. It was completely right for us. Robert was a very good host, always available and helpful. We received excursion tips from him, something to fix, he was right there. House is in impeccable condition. 5 stars in every way. It is likely that we will come again. Thank you Robert for a wonderful long stay.!

Straight forward, nice and clean

Our vacation in Lillehammer was absolutely fantastic, thanks in large part to our wonderful stay in this charming cottage. We spent eight days there at the beginning of March. The cottage is cozy and charming, yet equipped with all modern conveniences. The sauna and shower were a welcome treat after a day in the cold, and the fully equipped kitchen was very convenient. There was more than enough cookware available. The location is beautiful, right on a stunning lake. Opposite the cottage, the (natural) ice skating rink begins, which is prepared every year! The children entertained themselves for hours with the Lego in the playroom – what a brilliant idea! The beds were fine, and it was nice to sit by the fireplace in the evenings, with the complimentary firewood that was provided. With Hafjell & Kvitfjell a short distance away, it's the perfect location for snowboarding and skiing. Tip: visit the (partially) frozen Flokofalletwaterfall and real bobsleighing were made the stay great.

Very complete cottage in a very nice location. Nice homely atmosphere overlooking a lake. By car you are at 2 supermarkets within 5 minutes. The beds in the master bedroom are just sufficient.

Our week-long stay at this beautiful Gålå home was absolutely fantastic. The house itself was incredibly spacious, warm, and welcoming, providing a perfect retreat after days spent exploring the winter wonderland. The well-equipped kitchen was a huge plus, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable. We were traveling with three children, and they thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness and cozy atmosphere of the house. Gålå proved to be the ideal location for a skiing vacation, offering a wonderful variety of activities. We took full advantage of the alpine skiing slopes, explored the scenic cross-country trails, and even had the unforgettable experience of a dog sled tour. The location provided everything we could have asked for, and we are incredibly grateful to the hosts for their hospitality and for sharing their wonderful home with us. We highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable winter getaway in Gålå.

Short family stopover for a stroll through the wonderful Fulufjallets National Park, and we were not disappointed. The accommodation is a few minutes drive from the park entrance (on the side of the famous Vascade) and the view from the accommodation is very beautiful. The beds were comfortable, in short, everything was great!
