Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hedmark

We used the house with 2 adults and our dogs. The cozy and at the same time upscale amenities made it easy for us to feel right at home. At moderate winter temperatures, it was not so often necessary to turn on the fireplace; but prepared firewood would have been available. The underfloor heating has tempered the house very comfortably. We had our own ski equipment with us, but Svein had also offered us his equipment and that of his wife. Very nice contact with Svein.

Just what we needed for my little family. Very nice and short way. It's easy to get hold of the host, too.

Marthe 's place was lovely. We stayed there for one week and we had a great time. Grocery stores and restaurants just one minute walk away. The subway station was also one minute away and the Central S station was about 5 minutes away. The bus stop to Bygdoy (museums) was about 2 minutes away. The neighborhood was very lively in the evenings with many people outside. We felt completely safe. The apartment itself was large and clean with funky art decorations, perfect for a family with enough space for everyone. The wifi was very fast. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and enjoying the rooftop views. Marthe was very kind and communication was fast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place. We had a lovely stay at Christoffer’s apartment over the weekend. Christoffer was responsive with communication and flexible with check in and out. He was also very generous with recommendations on what to do in Oslo. The apartment was in a good location, with the locals and easy to commute to the centre and back on public transport. It had everything we needed for our weekend visit. Highly recommend staying if you visit Oslo ☺️

Fantastic stay, right on the ski slope! The host responded quickly and was incredibly nice! Got great help if there was anything we needed! The location couldn't be better! The place also looked just like in the pictures!!

Thank you Ulrica, we had a lovely 10 day stay in your beautiful holiday house. Enjoyed skiing despite Skistar having limited lifts open til last 2 days, access to shops, restaurants, town (via ski bus) & some other activities (e g. swim at Radisson) was good as reasonable walking distance without a car. Kids enjoyed Apres ski @ Laarven too! Sad to leave but will come back some day!

We felt very comfortable in Cina's house. The view from the living room is breathtaking. The kitchen is very large and well equipped. The mattresses with the bunk beds could be thicker and we missed a kettle. We would still book the house again anytime.

We traveled with our 1.5 years old baby and it was perfect! The apartment is in a gated building, which felt very secure. There is a ramp at the entrance of the building, and the elevator was big enough for our compact stroller. The Host kindly had a travel cot ready for our kid and they also left a high chair. Another high chair was also available for older kids. There is an open wardrobe right at the entrance of the apartment that was great to leave the stroller and/or suitcases, so they were not in the way. The bathroom is very spacious and the water pressure was great! The apartment is super bright, which we loved! Both bedrooms have blackout blinds, and the mattress was comfortable. Communication with the Hosts was very good, always responsive, friendly and helpful. This is heir family home, so it has a lot of personal touches. We would love to come back!

There were five of us in the cabin for the Birkebeiner run and we had a perfect time. In the cabin there was everything we needed for cross-country skiing vacation. Easily accessible by car despite a lot of snow, yet very quiet and with a great view! We enjoyed it a lot and hope to come back again, maybe even to the Birkebeiner again...

Sindre's cabin is very cozy and conveniently decorated, and matches exactly with descriptions and photos. It is quiet and peaceful in stunning nature. Sindre very helpful and replied quickly to our inquiries. Highly recommended!

It’s a very quiet place, great place to relax and still be connected to the city. Comfortable and liveable. Great place for travels with small animals as well.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

A great villa with many accommodation options. Especially great: the two huge Lego boxes 😍 It took some getting used to that the two bathrooms have separate entrances, but are only separated from each other by a shower curtain. However, this was also described in the property description. Oyvind was also helpful in finding a ski school or recommending restaurants! All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment with fantastic view overlooking the harbour area. Easy walk to Opera House, and then into town. Great communication from hosts and flexibility with check-in when our flight was cancelled. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here for four nights in May, 2023. The place is in a relatively new building and everything in the place was effectively brand-new. The location was a little bit off the main area, but it was a short walk to downtown so that really wasn't an issue. The place was clean, comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again.

We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.

Perfect house, great location, really nice hosts. The pool is fantastic and it is a very quiet and relaxing neighborhood close to Oslo‘s attractions.
