Had a really nice stay, lovely quiet and peaceful location, room was really comfortable and Kate was very friendly and welcoming.

WE enjoyed our stay at Netherwood Lodge. It was exactly what we were looking for as a family. The home was clean and modern, beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed.

This is an exceptional chalet and Jennie is absolutely lovely and very customer focused and super responsive. The little details and all the provisions are superb. The hot tub and grounds are stunning and the walls just gorgeous. We were gutted to leave and would love to come back.

The Lodge was perfectly clean and tidy, James was extremely helpful and went above and beyond when we had a flat tyre! He came to us with his own pump & gave recommendations. The location was perfect, there even is a little on site shop which was really handy! James provided us with a travel cot and high chair for our baby too. A perfect stay overall. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Beautiful location- so peaceful. The lodge had everything you could need- hottub was amazing to watch the squirrels. Bats flying around at night and the sheep going for their daily walks were great to see. The beds were comfy, kitchen very well kitted out- even left a cake and bread and eggs- lovely touch. Thank you for a great break with the kids- youngest loved the bunk beds!

Had a great stay! Martha was extremely kind and responsive prior to our trip, providing self-check in instructions and local recommendations. The place was peaceful and the room was clean. The lake was beautiful! We had some problems with the sink and water heater, but Martha responded quickly, even past 12am 😱🙏🏼 Although not having hot water for our first night was inconvenient, the issue was rectified the following day. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the entire team was friendly and extremely hospitable, coming to check in on us and giving us recommendations throughout breakfast. Thank you for the great stay, hope to be back ❤️

We enjoyed our stay here and the staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was clean and tidy and beautifully renovated although the building itself was quite old. The location was very nice and it was easy to get to Skye and other nearby destinations. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and luxurious (feather pillows). A warm breakfast is ordered from the menu and it was very good. Only small annoyance were the small mosquitoes/midges which did get into our room on the second evening. However, it is probably difficult to do anything about these flying into the rooms in the summer due to their very small size. It is good to acknowledge that the walls are thin and the sounds from outside and other rooms can be quite easily heard.

On the outskirts of Ballycastle, very tastefully renovated Georgian house. Airy, beautiful, modern, well kitted out shared kitchen and communal sitting room with projector at the top. Down a level there was a library nook with games and intriguing books. Down a level are the bedrooms, natural materials and great attention to detail throughout. Super comfy large bed. Clogs to change into at the front door for cleanliness and to soften footsteps on the real wood flooring. We were setting off very early to catch a ferry from Ballycastle to Islay for birdwatching and when we realised just how early, realised we'd have to stay the night before in Ballycastle. Jordan responded within minutes, alleviating last minute stress.

Wish we had longer here. Such a welcoming spot, with plenty of inviting places to seek out a spot for yourself or to gather with new & old friends. Very clean and pretty & well maintained! Comfortable beds, great technology, (loved the lighting)! Amazing kitchen to take advantage of cooking in for meals. Responsive hosts. We loved staying at Lagom!

Really lovely, I would definitely stay again

The hosts were friendly and helpful, the location quiet with great views over the lake. Off-street parking. If staying in Room 5 and ordering the Queen bed option, which comprises two singles pushed together, note that the beds do slide apart a little when slept on. Stores and pubs 5 minutes drive away. The local Highland Gathering held in August is great event to witness... Many thanks

AMAZING! The host was so lovely and so accommodating! I will definitely be back. We had lovely sunny weather today woke up to lovely green fresh fields around us and the river is fab. Inside of the cabin was beautiful, so clean and so beautifully done. The shower was amazing!! The Hottub was spotless and ready for us- Fab! Thank you for having us, will definitely be back 😍

Ewan and Carol have been very nice and welcoming, the room was clean, great view and a very luxurious Bathtub. 10 minutes by car to loch ness, easy access and parking. Plenty of good walks in the area, enjoyed my stay a lot.

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Convenient, comfortable, and a lovely warm welcome from hosts Frances and Colm. Nothing was too much trouble - and the kitchenette with breakfast snacks and drinks was a bonus! A lovely stay and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Great place to make your hub for ballycastle and surrounding area

I had the most peaceful stay surrounded by idyllic countryside. The lodge had everything I needed for a little cosy escape and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were also very lovely. I would most definitely come back. ☺️

The property is spacious and fully equipped. House was easy to find, check-in was super easy and it was exactly as described. There is sufficient parking on back side of property and a beautifull waterfall nearby. All rooms were clean and sufficient bedding, kitchen fully stocked with all pots, pans and dishes. Extended utility area was useful. Living room has a wood burner which was very cosy and boardgames for kids was also a nice touch Overall we had great stay snd we'd recommend the place yo others as well.

Loved our new year stay at Owen's lodge - we stayed for 4 nights with out two young children. The lodge is well equipped, was easy to check in and in a great location. The place was clean and tidy, the rooms are really large and the hot-tub was brilliant. The lodge has everything you need for a decent getaway with loads of things in the local area only a short drive away. Just to note: The WiFi isn't particularly great and there is very little phone signal (at least on the two networks we had). Not a huge issue but as the weather was particularly bad over the new year we probably stayed in the lodge more than we had anticipated and the WiFi wasn't great for streaming TV/Films for the kids.

It was perfect for our weekend away, I have to admit after booking and realising it was on a Park Dean resort we were a bit apprehensive after a past experience. But I have to say it was a fantastic site, all staff that we had contact with were friendly and helpful. To top it all the caravan was perfect, really cosy, great balcony to sit outside on. We hopefully will be coming to stay again. As Cayton bay and the surrounding beaches are beautiful. Just a shame we didn’t get better weather. But still had a great weekend away. Our son described it as the best place ever!

Felt like a real home away from home - lovely decor, comfy beds and cosy living room space. Everything nice and clean. Walking distance to local beach which the kids and dog loved. Only gripe is WiFi not very good but at least it got the kids away from their phones for a while! Would highly recommend
