Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Funchal

The location is perfect, the apartment is super modern, with lots of light and has all the amenities. We had some unforeseen events with a couple of small appliances, but that was fixed. In general, everything went very well!

Prefect apartment in a wonderful location. Lots of great restaurants walkable and great location to visit all areas of the island. Gabriele was very helpful and responsive and even met us at 5:30am for check out

We had a great stay in this accommodation, spacious, very clean, super well located in Funchal. It is easily accessible by car and having a parking space was a real plus. We were really well located with good restaurants, the supermarket at the foot of the building. Carina is very friendly and very responsive.

A well appointed and impeccably presented modern apartment in a great location for us. We appreciated Rui meeting us on arrival and making the check-in easy. Was a great stay for our family of four.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is very clean and well equipped. The area is quiet and ideal for starting day trips. Communication with Filipe was easy and he gave us a few good recommendations for restaurants in Sao Vicente. We would love to come back anytime. Thank you!

this place is absolutely fantastic we loved it hear, nicely out of the the way but still a short drive to lovely bars and resteraunts, I really couldn't recommend it high enough, what lovely people great comunication and greeting on arrival. Wonderfull

We enjoyed our stay at Casa das Raposinhas. The accomodation is part of a small compound of two buildings. The common area includes a nice garden with a pool and a roofed leisure area. David was very nice and quick to respond. This particular appartment at that point in time was in need of some repairs (mechanisms of doors and windows, wardrobe, one of two showers), but I think this will be resolved in no time. That did not bother us much. If you are in doubt, I suggest looking for the appartments in the adjacent building, also part of this compound, which is newer. The kitchen was a little under-equipped, but David was very quick to remedy the worst part. This neighbourhood is very nice, the waterfront is easily reachable by foot, a Pingo Doce supermarket is in the street parallel to this one. The view from this appartment (street level) is very nice, that is, from the bedrooms. I recommend this place!

Very cozy apartment, equipped with a jacuzzi from which you can watch planes landing. The host is very helpful, polite and responds quickly to messages. Access to the property may surprise some but every car can handle it without a problem. We highly recommend and hope to return to this place someday!!

Everything was great and very good communication with Jörg. The house is spacious and has a great view of Funchal. We had a wonderful time!

Absolutely stunning stay! The views were like something out of a postcard—so picturesque, we almost didn’t want to leave. The house was spotless, and every detail was thought of: towels, blankets, shampoo, even spare wood for the outdoor barbecue. There’s AC in every room (though we didn’t need it), plus a washer, dryer, and plenty of supplies like soap and dishwasher pods. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive at all hours. The garage was a bonus, especially in the rainy weather, giving us extra comfort. The area itself is very peaceful and quiet, yet only a short 7-8 minute drive to cafes, restaurants, and shops. If I ever return to Madeira, this is where I’ll stay—no question.

Always a great place to stay! The weather wasn't kind to us on this visit so we had the chance to relax in these lovely surroundings, all very clean and comfortable. Thank you for another great visit.

A really lovely apartment, immaculately clean and airy with a balcony to gaze at the sea. This catches the sun from the the morning to late afternoon so a great place to enjoy a coffee or lunch. The surrounding gardens are beautiful with a range of mature plants. The swimming pool is small but really clean and well looked after - I swam every morning (very cold in January but certainly woke me up!). There are 2 other apartments within the complex - people were staying there but we hardly saw them. It was all very calm and quiet. The bed is super comfy and enormous! The shower in the main bathroom is very good. The kitchen well equipped - we did a fair amount of cooking there. NOTE: Madeira is very very hilly so although the beach is around a mile and a half away it entails a climb down of around 1500 feet - and then back up! We didn't mind as it's good to keep fit but be aware. To get into Funchal we used the bus and Bolt (reliable & cheap).

This is my favorite air bnb ice ever stayed in! The house is wonderful and the bed is comfy. The pool and the views were out of this world! It was so nice to drink morning coffee and look at the ocean and the mountains. Sophia, who takes care of the grounds and cleaning, was so kind and helpful! The fridge was stocked with eggs, fruits, and cheese and there was a fresh bread delivery every morning. Sophia even did our laundry for us. It was the best stay ever and there are delicious restaurants within walking distance. I had a tricky time getting into the property because my cellphone didn’t have service and I couldn’t connect to the WiFi because I wasn’t in range. So I couldn’t use the app on my phone to get in. The host was very responsive and let me in and I was able to use the house key for the remainder of the trip. Definitely book this place, you’ll love it!

We looked long and hard for somewhere to stay in Madiera and knew as soon as we saw the listing that Gabriela's house was the place for us - and we were proved right in every way! The house itself is amazing - so much so that it became a challenge getting our kids out of the pool and into the car! You can feel the care and attention that's gone into every detail and it's the perfect base to explore Madeira. Ponto do Sol itself has a really nice vibe to it and has everything that you'd need for your stay - not least the best prego sandwiches that we had all week at the beach cafe. Gabriela and her family could not have been better hosts and made sure that our stay was as good as it could be from start to finish - from clear booking communications throughout through to helpful tips and local insights, nothing was too much for them.

Nice little accommodation with everything you need, good amenities and Carla was very friendly and helpful with questions and if we needed anything. The windows were a bit cumbersome to operate but you can do that with a little practice. We would come back.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Rita is a really nice, friendly owner, who was always available to help and give advices. The location of this appartment could not be better. From the sunny balcony you will have an amazing view at the ocean and the fortress. At the corner there is the really nice bar/restaurant Barreirinha. And you are a few steps away from the centre of Funchal, but there is totally no problem with noise; it is completely quiet. The appartment is clean and nice. The shower is good, the bed is also good, although a bit small for tall people like me (1m90). You will feel like home in this fantastic appartment, would love to be back.
