The place is right next to the airport and it's quite convenient. This is a full apartment, equipped with all the necessary amenities, including an oven. Check in was easy with the instructions sent. Separately pleased the balcony as it faces the ocean. The beach is nearby, there is a market on the beach where you can buy tuna, dorado and other fish at very nice prices. Host Mara responds promptly, courteous and communicative.

Excellent place to stay with the ideal location. Susana was extremely helpful and easy to get in touch with. High recommend staying here.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

Filomena's apartment is the perfect base from which to explore Funchal. It is very comfortable, with an extremely well equipped kitchen, and within easy reach of the city centre. The parking spot is definitely a bonus and Filomena is an excellent host, providing clear and detailed instructions for check in and always prompt to respond to any questions. We very much enjoyed our week's stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Madeira.

We had a fantastic time here. The hosts were very helpful and responsive - even letting us check in a little earlier. The parking space is a great addition and helped us a lot when planning trips around the island. The place is clean and super close to everything.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

very well equipped accommodation from the kitchen to the details, such as blankets for cool evenings, parasol for the beach, garden furniture, barbecue..... a beautiful garden with great sunset views...

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

It was a great stay. The house was very cozy and everything was there. You can quickly reach all the sights by car and can go directly from the house via a hiking trail to the village and to the beach. We were more than satisfied! Johnny was always quick to respond and was very helpful. Glad to come back

Had an amazing stay in Funchal. The house is beautiful, the photos do not do the view justice! Lovely quiet street perfect location only 10 minutes walk from the old town. The kitchen is also very well stocked with plenty of appliances and delf which was great appreciated. João was so helpful and kind, an amazing host that went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommend!!

The place is really gorgeous. The terrace is the highlight, with barbecue station, outdoor shower and toilet, loungers, table and chairs. The view of the sea is priceless. In the apartment itself, there is nothing missing. Enough storage space, 2 large double beds, a great bathroom and a great kitchen with sea view. From the garage you can take the elevator directly to the penthouse, but also walk around the house. We felt super comfortable, not least because dear Eva constantly took care of us when we once had a question. She is the soul of the accommodation :-) We received many good tips from her, she is very hospitable, flexible and always responded very quickly. We had a wonderful week to celebrate flowers! Thank you Eva!

Spacious and clean apartment with a superb ocean view. Sunset on the balcony, tranquility and rejuvenation assured. The restaurants are at the end of the street but no noise nuisance, a supermarket within walking distance. Very good communication with Albino, very responsive, follow his advice regarding the car rental company. Delighted with our stay.

The stay at Juan’s House let us to relax in great atmosphere. The apartment is well equiped even including cofee machine. There is a view at ocean from taracce. It is very clean and very well prepared for guests.

Serene sea side getaway with beautiful ocean views and plenty of food options nearby. If you want to explore the Western side of the island this is the perfect spot to serve as a launchpad for said adventures. Amazingly comfortable bed and stunning place to catch the sunset. Two thumbs up!

Everything was great! Perfect location

The check-in went well. We were very pleased and can recommend the apartment. Parking was available in the courtyard, otherwise it would have been bad to find a parking space. Next to the entrance was a small shop, also ideal. We felt very comfortable.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.

We loved staying here! Fantastic location for a vacation in Madeira and the view from the balcony was amazing. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!
