This house was first built in 1932 and since then it has been know as "Casa do Vinho Velho", "The Old Wine House". My great-grand mother used to tell stories about the old man "Vinho Velho" and his passion for his wine and agriculture. Located on the main road connecting Funchal to the other points of the island, on Rua Quinta das Amoreiras, near the Botanical Garden and 30 meters from stores, restaurants and buses. Although it is situated on a very wide street, it is very quiet with a good neighborhood with great view.
