La ubicación es perfecta, el piso es super moderno, con mucha luz y tiene todas las comodidades. Tuvimos algunos imprevistos con un par de electrodomésticos chicos, pero que fue solucionado. En general salió todo muy bien!

Prefect apartment in a wonderful location. Lots of great restaurants walkable and great location to visit all areas of the island. Gabriele was very helpful and responsive and even met us at 5:30am for check out

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement, spacieux, très propre, super bien situé dans Funchal. Il est accessible simplement en voiture et avoir une place de parking était un vrai plus. Nous étions vraiment bien placés avec de bons restaurants, le supermarché au pied de l'immeuble. Carina est très sympathique et très réactive.

A well appointed and impeccably presented modern apartment in a great location for us. We appreciated Rui meeting us on arrival and making the check-in easy. Was a great stay for our family of four.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Haus ist sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und ideal um Tagestouren zu starten. Kommunikation mit dem Filipe war einfach und er hat uns ein paar gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants in Sao Vicente gegeben. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank!

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!

this place is absolutely fantastic we loved it hear, nicely out of the the way but still a short drive to lovely bars and resteraunts, I really couldn't recommend it high enough, what lovely people great comunication and greeting on arrival. Wonderfull

Ak máte radi mestský komfort v úplne novej nehnuteľnosti s krásnym výhľadom na oceán, tak toto je výborné miesto. Super východisko pre výlety do iných končín ostrova. Bezpečné parkovanie v podzemnej garáži na vlastných parkovacích miestach. Veľký apartmán, vkusne až luxusne zariadený v stráženom areáli apartmánových domov. Podľa mňa pohodlne ubytuje až 6 hostí - každá izba má vlastnú kúpeľňu s toaletou. Máte prístup do relaxačnej zóny v záhrade apartmánového domu, kde je bazén s výhľadom na oceán, lehátka, fitness. Pár metrov od domu sa nachádza všetko podstatné vybavenie - veľký supermarket, obchody, kaviareň s pekárňou... Hostiteľ reagoval na našu komunikáciu extrémne rýchlo, slušne a priateľsky. Všetko fungovalo. Bol ochotný vyjsť v ústrety našim požiadavkám ohľadom času príchodu a odchodu aj mimo rámec oficiálnych časov. Celkovo veľmi príjemný pobyt v excelentnom apartmáne s profesionálne komunikujúcim a ochotným hostiteľom. Ďakujeme a tešíme sa niekedy nabudúce!

Very cozy apartment, equipped with a jacuzzi from which you can watch planes landing. The host is very helpful, polite and responds quickly to messages. Access to the property may surprise some but every car can handle it without a problem. We highly recommend and hope to return to this place someday!!

Absolutely stunning stay! The views were like something out of a postcard—so picturesque, we almost didn’t want to leave. The house was spotless, and every detail was thought of: towels, blankets, shampoo, even spare wood for the outdoor barbecue. There’s AC in every room (though we didn’t need it), plus a washer, dryer, and plenty of supplies like soap and dishwasher pods. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive at all hours. The garage was a bonus, especially in the rainy weather, giving us extra comfort. The area itself is very peaceful and quiet, yet only a short 7-8 minute drive to cafes, restaurants, and shops. If I ever return to Madeira, this is where I’ll stay—no question.

Always a great place to stay! The weather wasn't kind to us on this visit so we had the chance to relax in these lovely surroundings, all very clean and comfortable. Thank you for another great visit.

A really lovely apartment, immaculately clean and airy with a balcony to gaze at the sea. This catches the sun from the the morning to late afternoon so a great place to enjoy a coffee or lunch. The surrounding gardens are beautiful with a range of mature plants. The swimming pool is small but really clean and well looked after - I swam every morning (very cold in January but certainly woke me up!). There are 2 other apartments within the complex - people were staying there but we hardly saw them. It was all very calm and quiet. The bed is super comfy and enormous! The shower in the main bathroom is very good. The kitchen well equipped - we did a fair amount of cooking there. NOTE: Madeira is very very hilly so although the beach is around a mile and a half away it entails a climb down of around 1500 feet - and then back up! We didn't mind as it's good to keep fit but be aware. To get into Funchal we used the bus and Bolt (reliable & cheap).

This is my favorite air bnb ice ever stayed in! The house is wonderful and the bed is comfy. The pool and the views were out of this world! It was so nice to drink morning coffee and look at the ocean and the mountains. Sophia, who takes care of the grounds and cleaning, was so kind and helpful! The fridge was stocked with eggs, fruits, and cheese and there was a fresh bread delivery every morning. Sophia even did our laundry for us. It was the best stay ever and there are delicious restaurants within walking distance. I had a tricky time getting into the property because my cellphone didn’t have service and I couldn’t connect to the WiFi because I wasn’t in range. So I couldn’t use the app on my phone to get in. The host was very responsive and let me in and I was able to use the house key for the remainder of the trip. Definitely book this place, you’ll love it!

We looked long and hard for somewhere to stay in Madiera and knew as soon as we saw the listing that Gabriela's house was the place for us - and we were proved right in every way! The house itself is amazing - so much so that it became a challenge getting our kids out of the pool and into the car! You can feel the care and attention that's gone into every detail and it's the perfect base to explore Madeira. Ponto do Sol itself has a really nice vibe to it and has everything that you'd need for your stay - not least the best prego sandwiches that we had all week at the beach cafe. Gabriela and her family could not have been better hosts and made sure that our stay was as good as it could be from start to finish - from clear booking communications throughout through to helpful tips and local insights, nothing was too much for them.

Schöne kleine Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht, gute Ausstattung und Carla war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Fragen und wenn wir was brauchten. Die Fenster waren etwas umständlich zu bedienen aber auch das hat man mit etwas Übung hinbekommen. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Logement conforme à la description, bien équipé et très bien localisé pour découvrir Funchal. Garage hyper pratique pour stationner un véhicule. Carla est très réactive, très sympathique et de bons conseils. Je recommande !

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Rita is a really nice, friendly owner, who was always available to help and give advices. The location of this appartment could not be better. From the sunny balcony you will have an amazing view at the ocean and the fortress. At the corner there is the really nice bar/restaurant Barreirinha. And you are a few steps away from the centre of Funchal, but there is totally no problem with noise; it is completely quiet. The appartment is clean and nice. The shower is good, the bed is also good, although a bit small for tall people like me (1m90). You will feel like home in this fantastic appartment, would love to be back.
