Villa holiday rentals in Costa Rica

We loved our week at Evan’s place. He was very helpful with places to go and restaurants to eat. The house was big enough for 7 of us to enjoy.

AMAZING! Brendon, Moises, and the area all exceeded expectations! I would give more stars on my rating if it were possible. The home is a vacation in itself and the surrounding area is full of adventures. Just from the pool area at the home, you can see mountains, jungle, ocean, river and an abundance of wildlife! Then you get in a car and drive 20min to experience all of those same things up close and personal. If you love outdoors, wildlife and you have an adventurous spirit to try new things, this is the place to be at! The region still has some of the remoteness of less developed areas alongside all the conveniences of developed areas within a short drive. This is hands down our favorite stay we have had and we have been to a lot of places! We stayed 2 weeks here and can’t wait to come back! The home is modern comfortable and has the most spectacular views I have ever seen. Loved having my coffee and just seeing all the Macaw’s, Toucan’s, parrots, and numerous wildlife every day!

Such a beautiful place! Absolutely loved it. The host was also incredibly kind and responsive to several questions. Thank you! We loved being able to hop in the jacuzzi at the beginning and end of the day and being able to watch beautiful birds with our binoculars right from the comfort of the jacuzzi! Also, the outdoor shower/bathroom was such a cool concept - loved it. Should also note that while open air, it is also fully protected from rain. Thank you so much for a lovely time. Would definitely return!

Such a beautiful place with beautiful views. we especially enjoyed the hammocks along the property looking out on the ocean as well as the breakfast which was absolutely amazing. casa sol was spacious, clean & had beautiful decor. we loved the location, which was close to the beach, nature and waterfalls & the little town. would love to come back again!

Loved this air bnb! It was fabulous. Breath-taking views & the pool was amazing. My boyfriend and I spent a decent amount of time at our air bnb (because it was just so beautiful) so it was such a highlight of our trip. They helped us book excursions, massages, and even had our groceries delivered when we got there late at night. My rating is 1000/10!! The way up to the air bnb is a crazy drive. Fernanda helped us find it and check in on the first day, so it wasn’t too bad, but definitely took some practice getting up that road on a steep hill / mountain. Would highly recommend renting a 4WD small SUV. Well worth it for the view though.

It’s impossible to capture the beauty of Achoite in words. The design of the villa and the attention to every detail are absolutely incredible. The views are breathtaking, and the space is peaceful, private, and deeply connected to nature. It’s truly the perfect escape. We had a private chef and a massage arranged during our stay — both experiences were unforgettable and well worth it, especially in such a stunning setting. The hosts were wonderful — so helpful, responsive, and full of fantastic recommendations. Achoite is a once-in-a-lifetime stay, and we feel so lucky to have experienced it!

We had an amazing time at the Ocean View Villa. Adriana and the staff that take care of the property were so friendly and hospitable. We visited during rainy season, and they were so quick to pull the lounge chair cushions under cover to prevent them from getting soaked. We felt very safe and comfortable the entire stay. They gave us helpful tips before and during our stay. The house and views were so good. The local area was fun to explore. We are so grateful to have had a chance to stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a fantastic stay in Costa Rica!

Amazing stay in Santa Teresa made even better with Sami’s concierge! Emilio (concierge) was INCREDIBLE and the daily cleaning crew. Responded daily to all of my questions and inquiries about the home. Provided great recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The house was great, just what we needed. The pool, outdoor areas, kitchen, and bedrooms were all my favorites. Highly recommended!

It was our second stay at Villa St. Barth, and we hope it will not be the last one. We enjoy this privacy oasis very close to the touristy areas of the Tamarindo Coast. The property is secluded; you neither see nor feel any neighbours, yet it is just a few hundred meters away from a very nice fish restaurant. The house is squeaky clean and very comfortable to live in. The property's focal point is a pool suitable for lap swimming. We spend hours in the pool daily, looking for a busy bird life and occasional squirrels or monkeys.

Absolutely stunning home and very responsive host.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Tamarindo! It was perfect for our two families (7 people total, including 3 kids ages 5–8). The house was spacious, well-stocked, and felt very safe and comfortable for both adults and children. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach and with a fantastic pool that we used every day. The host was outstanding, providing great local recommendations and even helping us arrange airport shuttles and excursions. Everything was seamless from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

Wow!!! What an experience!! Whitney’s place was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect place for our family vacation. Enough room for everyone and space to not feel cluttered! Beautiful views & beautiful amenities!!! Simone was beyond helpful!!! Such an amazing woman and made so many amazing experiences with her! She made the entire trip seamless! She took us on our snorkeling tour & to spend the day with Indigenous Boruca Sergio & his mom. Such a beautiful experience. Vlad, our chef, was AMAZING!!!! He made each of our meals better than the next & my birthday extra special!!! We caught tuna & he switched it up and served it fresh that night!!! His bartending skills were on point too and he became like family!!! Don’t hesitate on staying here I promise you’ll love it!! The pictures are beautiful but don’t show the depth of just how amazing it is!!! So be sure to utilize Simone for some of your experiences/excursions & book Vlad’s chef services!!! Pura Vida!!!!

We had a great time at Villa Lasai! Sophie- the concierge, did a great job assisting us with anything we needed and the house itself is exactly what you see on the pictures- gorgeous with breathtaking views, great pool and outdoor area. I am not an early bird by any means but I enjoyed waking up early in this house a lot- hearing all the forest inhabitants, ocean waves breaking somewhere further make you want to start your day to see/feel more of that. The house is located up the hill and the road is partially paved which took us one full round trip to get used to, but once you get a hang of it- it’s totally fine just a bit bumpy. In terms of proximity to everything the location is great, once you’re down the hill- you’re on the main street of Santa Teresa with all the restaurants, shops and tons of ocean access points. Overall, would definitely recommend Villa Lasai and would love to come back here some time in the future!

The view of this house was breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the town of Tamarindo & seeing the sunset. If you are looking for authentic Costa Rican food make sure to visit the Sodas (what all their small restaurants are called). We enjoyed every single one of them & are very reasonably priced. We visited playa Conchal which was my favorite beach & not far but also did the Leona waterfall hike and zip lining which was so much fun & beautiful. After our activities we were able to come home to our fresh and clean airbnb and dip in the pool then end the night with Netflix or a TV series. We didn’t have the swing which would’ve been a nice photo prop, but that’s alright. We hope to come back again but with our family or friends, we love Costa Rica so much. My husband really bonded with John the security & would enjoy their night talks. We loved how he greeted us with a smile. We will miss him. Gracias amigo y saludos. I have rented houses in the Dominical/ Uvita/ Ojochal over a dozen times and Roberto and Diana's place has been my favorite by far. Not only is the property extremely unique in it's design and layout, it's amenities, location and incredible view is unmatched. Typically speaking, in this area of Costa Rica, a house with a view this amazing will require a 10 - 15 minute drive up hill. This house is a 5 minute drive from so much and within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do. This made traveling with kids so easy and allowed us to really explore the area while also relaxing at the house often. This house is more than worth it, especially for the reasonable nightly rate in comparison to similar properties. Pura Vida 🌴

The most amazing view we got to see in Costa Rica, over lush mountains all the way to the Pacific Ocean!!! The accommodation was exactly as pictured, very new and super clean. The pool areas is very pleasant and the hosts were extremely friendly!

What a spectacular stay...Words do not do it justice. We had an incredible stay and the place is top notch! Put this on your list!

Our favorite stay in Uvita so far!! The house was amazing, stunning views, and a perfect stay for a long vacation!! We’d stay here again for sure!

Diane’s place far exceeded our expectations. Great location, very tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there and available. The setting is amazing, looking out over the jungle and seeing the monkeys off the balcony. The sounds in the morning and evening are amazing. Great pool, grill etc etc. We would come back here in a heart beat.

This place is amazing. The views are spectacular! Jorge showed us around as soon as we arrived and was very informative. We saw Toucans from the pool area and heard the Howling Monkeys early in the morning. You will need a 4x4 to get up to the house, the road can difficult if it's raining. The bedrooms have A/C, but the main area with the kitchen does not. Because of this you will need to open the doors completely and this does cause bugs to be attracted to the lights in the house especially at night. It would have been nice to be able to close the screen to prevent spiders and flying bugs inside the house, but it was locked. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer if needed. The pool was too cold for us to get into, but that would have been an amazing experience as well. Just FYI, they have cameras around the entire outside. Front and back, so when you are outside enjoying the views they will have access to the area.

The home, amenities, host are all top notch. I would just give caution to those about the access to the house is likely not for everybody. I was fine with it, but it is very steep 15-20 min from Uvita that is on some switchback nearly single lane roads. 4X4 is required because it is challenging and it makes for wanting to run to town or coming back late at night a bit of a hassle. The road was shut down at one point and we had to take a literal Jungle trail (was pretty wild and a bit sketchy) . With that said if you crave a little extra adventure and like the Road Not Taken by Robert Frost then this may be for you, the actual views and home are top notch. Host were great lots of great info.

I celebrated my birthday with my family in Picasa and was amazed not just the beautiful property but also Pierre- our host! I knew I picked the right place to celebrate. We had everything we needed & was accessible to everything. The place was an oasis & able to celebrate & spend quality time with my family. Thank you Pierre, we will be back. You were so warm & every one of us loved our stay!
