Holiday home rentals in Costa Rica

This house is beautiful! The rooms are great. The kitchen is large and it has a nice pool and hot tub. It is set back from road 100 meters and has a private gate making it feel very secluded. There are some nice local restaurants with great views of the city 10 minutes away as well as a small grocery a few minutes away. We had a great stay!

I really enjoyed an extended stay (over a month) at the Coco Sunset Hills property being managed by Tropical Gardens. This staff is the happiest and friendliest ever. The property was all that is was advertised to be. Many different and beautiful pools to swim in on very well landscaped and maintained grounds. The property itself was wonderful (2 floor, 2 bedroom) with all modern conveniences, great A/C, room fans, and weekly cleaning services! I have told my friends about this place and will also be back.

We loved this Airbnb! It was the perfect end for our trip. Would definitely stay here for an entire trip! The beach close by, the terrace, the pools, and gated community were awesome and made our Costa Rica trip better. The host was great when we couldn’t find the office space to check in due to construction, but she came all the way out to the street to help us! Friendly staff!

My family and I were so pleased with our choice. The home was very clean, lots of parking. The outdoor covered patio is perfect for rainy evenings. The pool was cleaned as soon as we got there and we enjoyed it every day. I recommend going to the home before going to the grocery store because it is well stocked. Martin even had coffee from their family and it was the best coffee we had the whole time we were in Costa Rica. The restaurant recs from Lorena were on point and delicious. I suggest staying for at least three or four days because the amount of wildlife that traverses through the property changes from day-to-day. There is a resident sloth that lives right outside the gates and we saw him three out of the five days that we were there. another sloth that we saw every morning on our walk that was about a 10 minute distance from home. So many tropical birds. We would stay here again, highly recommend. Check out was extremely easy and effortless. Also, several walkable restaurants.

Excellent location, a few minutes from downtown Tamarindo and attractions, ideal for a group of friends or family. A whole complex for private enjoyment with your friends or family

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Freddy’s place. He’s a great host. The pool is lovely and the property is surrounded by nature. The house is comfortable and cozy with lots of outdoor space. This is our favorite place to stay when we are working in the area.

Excellent location, very complete kitchen implements and some even new appliances. However, I would like to point out that the dining table was extremely dirty, even with cat hair embedded on it (we had to clean it 3 times to make it decent and the black rag did not come out). In addition, the shower was quite uncomfortable because there was no pressure for the hot water (not so for the cold water). Finally, the fans were very old and dusty. In any case, we had an excellent stay.

Awesome stay at Mike's Bamboo Cabin - clean, very private and well equipped! The best part is its serene and tranquil surroundings, lots of birds, and a nice trail down the road into the forests where had great wildlife experiences. Mike is a wonderful host, probably the most organised we've met. He gave super detailed and clear instructions on everything you need to get there safely and to have a enjoyable experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This place is total gem 💎 its pictures do not do it justice. It’s absolutely breathtaking, modern, safe at location is close enough to everything yet good distance away so you can enjoy the private luxuries the place offers. It is clean, clutter free, well kept, has the items you most need and everything works especially the A/C. The added bonus is the excellent concierge service with High Vibe it blew my mind—exceeded expectations!! I cannot thank Janice for this added touch which made the trip so relaxing because I knew there was a team right there at the ready to answer questions and respond to our needs. We would book again without blinking!

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool is killer - the bushes and trees provide a great sense of privacy, and we spent hours in the pool reading and chilling the day away. Samara is at walking distance (at least for us), and there are some nice bars and restaurants to hang out for drinks and dinner, Ryan has good advice if needed. He is always available with recommendations. The only disappointment was the beach - go to Playa Carrillo instead!!! We definitely recommend Ryan’s place!!!

This was one of the best places we´ve stayed during owr trip to Costa Rica. The kids really enjoyed the pool while watching monkeys, iguanas and beautiful birds in the property. The location is great, near the sea and not far away from both Montezuma and Cabuya. We had a great time and recommend this beautiful place.

If you are thinking of staying in this area, stop looking and just book this property! Trust me on this. The direct access to two (yes two) amazing rivers with small waterfalls, cascades and crystal clear water is breathtaking. We went into the water daily. So refreshing. We must have taken 1000 pictures. The Casita is small but perfect for solo or couple. We found it to be very cosy and just the right size for our stuff and to cook our meals. There are lots of windows and the sound of the rivers put us to sleep every night. Would return without hesitation.

This is a wonderful place to stay if visiting Nuevo Arenal. Very good location and beautiful view of the sunset from the living room. The friendly dogs added an extra treat to the location for us. One note, as navigation apps in Costa Rica are tricky, follow their instructions carefully and download the picture of the gate leading up to the house before you leave reliable cell coverage.

We were very pleased with the space. Meidys is a friendly, kind and hardworking woman. She offered to do our laundry. The facilities were as shown in the photos. We would recommend Meidys' apartment in a second. You'll be treated like royalty there!

The place is like the photos, it has impeccable cleanliness, super equipped. Everything is in excellent condition. I recommend taking a large car because when you arrive it is very steep and with a stone street.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! I was traveling with my elderly parents and two kids (1 yr and 3yr) . The house was adorable, great art , comfortable sitting areas, the kitchen was well stocked, everyone had plenty of space. My parents stayed upstairs so could escape to quiet from kids! There were toys, books, cribs, high chairs, even floaties for the pool! When traveling with kids this is a huge plus to not have to pack these items! Very quiet neighborhood and really enjoyed hanging on the back deck! We walked to beach and restaurants with both kids and my parents no problem! Plenty of towels , and beach chairs! Very clean and Sebastian was super responsive and accommodating, we can’t wait to come back ! I would give 10 stars !! 🌟🌟🌟

Wonderful experience! The house was very nice and spacious. Lovely outdoor space, huge pool, nice outdoor dining and BBQ area, beautiful views especially during sunset time! Beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms, good house for large groups. Kitchen had everything you could need. Definitely make sure to have a 4x4 car like the description suggests, the drive to house from main road is about 20 min of steep hills and dirt/gravel road. You get used to the drive after the first day. Worth it for the amazing views and privacy at the house. We were able to spot many animals around the house and enjoyed having breakfast and dinner every day with spectacular views. They have many pool floats and toys. The host was very friendly and quick to respond for anything we needed. Thanks for everything! Pura Vida

Great place, host was very good communicating, he solved 1 minor issue with the wifi password almost immediately. Highly recommended!

My rating for this accommodation is 10/10, I recommend it 100%. Ale is very attentive, he made us feel at home, he gave us some super delicious empanadas. I will give you a short description, but I hope it will help you make a good decision. We saw several monkeys in the trees from our room, and the next day was magical, because we could see howler monkeys and Titi monkeys, with their babies, and thanks to Ale we were able to feed them with bananas. In conclusion, this accommodation is ideal if you want to share with nature. I forgot to mention that we also saw the sloth, so it's important to keep an eye on the treetops.

Loany’s place at Ciudad Del Mar is truly a gem! The community is stunning—beautifully landscaped, secure, and just minutes from the beach. The home itself is cozy, immaculate, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. The layout was absolutely perfect for our group—ideal for two small families or a family traveling with in-laws, offering just the right amount of shared space and privacy. We felt right at home the entire time and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Jacó. Thank you, Loany, for such a lovely stay!

This villa was beautiful and spacious with gorgeous views. Coltin and Beto were incredibly helpful with everything we needed and we felt right at home.
