Bungalow holiday rentals in Costa Rica

From the drive to the house, to the views of the ocean, to the sound of nature…. Magical place. Felt seriously sad when we left. Kim is really responsive and helpful!

Amazing stay! Been to Golfito many times now and this was the favorite place I have stayed. Right across from Banana Bay restaurant/marina and walkable to other places for food/activities. Katie was very helpful in providing local recommendations and let us check-out a little bit late due to a boat tour we were doing that morning. When I'm back in Golfito this will be the first place I check for availability, very cozy, cute home :)

The house is in a beautifully maintained park by the sea. The beach and resort are just outside the hustle and bustle and is therefore a super base in this area. The cottage is absolutely stunning, spacious and very clean. The host is incredibly nice and helpful.

Silvina's Lodge is great. Our expectations were far surpassed. You get a really great nature experience. We saw a lot of animals there without having to take a guide tour. Our place was very clean and was also cleaned every day. In the kitchen you had enough space for your own food. Silvina gave us great tips for activities. There is a lot to do in the area for free. We loved the lodge so much we extended our stay and we will definitely be back next year. The Lodge is an absolute recommendation.

This truly is the best accommodation in Pavones. It was extremely close to the point, restaurants and the market. Additionally, it was very clean and well taken care of. Given how rural Pavones is, we were happy to have a kitchen to ourselves where we could cook a few meals a day. Which really is necessary to my mind. Andres was very welcoming and kind as were all the Pavones pups (as we called them). It was a magical place, and the Brahman Bungalows made it that much more magical for us.

It was a magical experience in a unique place near the Corcovado nature reserve. Samuel sent us the information we needed to be prepared for the adventure!

Super private! Very cozy space, close to Playa Flamingo (a must in Guanacaste)

We had a wonderful stay at Villas Santa Teresa. Tomas, Alan, Joanna and Javier were always very helpful with anything we needed. Javier helped with our flat tire which was very much appreciated! They made reservations at a beautiful restaurant for us to celebrate a milestone birthday, which was an amazing evening:) Its a perfect peaceful location, a little outside of town but close enough to everything we needed. A 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach, where we spent hours walking and exploring. A 10 minute drive to town to get groceries. We had an SUV which worked for us but an ATV/motorbike would have possibly been better. The villa was so clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and the hammocks were magical!

We loved our stay, the appartement is in the middle of the jungle which is a super special experience. The apartment is brand new and very well done. The road up there is also pretty doable, and in 15 min by car you’re in the centre of Dominical.

Elena is a love, she has been looking after us all the time, facilitating arrival and advising us at all times. The house is very special, clean and in a beautiful place. On the first day they passed in front of the garden a family of howler monkeys that impressed us. There are plenty of butterflies and hummingbirds in the garden. Thank you Elena for making us feel so good.

This location is ideal for those wanting a private getaway atmosphere. Stunning view of the mountains and jungle. Birds and insects will lul you to sleep. There are several quaint dining options 5 minutes drive away. It is about 40 minutes drive from La Fortuna. If you are not comfortable being close to nature in all its forms, choose another location. However, it was perfect for us!

This was my 8th visit to Pavones and by far my favorite accommodations. I can't say enough good things from the incredible hostess to the paradise like beach bungalow in a peaceful, tranquil lush setting steps to the beach down a little magical feeling road. Most of all the energy of the bungalow is so relaxing and a place to get away from it all. I will most definitely return again and again and again:) I can't wait!

Beautiful place, clean and well maintained, we could see a sloth inside the premises and it is close to all the beaches

Peaceful & comfortable place. Very private which we liked. About 15 min from downtown La fortuna so some tours won’t pick you up. WiFi was spotty with the rain which was a little inconvenient since it was needed to arrange transportations.
