Holiday rentals with a kayak in Asheville

Jami and her place were both wonderful! So quiet and peaceful and I loved sitting on the front porch watching the horses, chickens and cats. Definitely recommend this place!

The pictures did not do this place justice, as it was more beutiful than the pictures represented. It was clean, vary large with many amenities and lots of water toys "several kayaks , a canoe, beach toys, life vest, and even a couple blow up tubes. There was a nice grill and firepit and Amanda even left the kiddoes smores fixing, which they enjoyed very much. We were there for Easrer weekend, and there did not seem to be anyone in any of the other cabins along the lake, so it was very private, which we appreciated. Give this place a try, and you won't be disappointed.

Elaina was a great host and the place is beautiful! We stayed for a weekend (3 couples) and enjoyed all the amenities. The location was great for the wedding we attended at Laurel Falls. Would absolutely stay again.

We loved this house! The lake setting was beautiful and the house was so cozy! They even had everything you could need to “move right in”… shampoo/body wash, every kitchen item you need, stocked fridge, serving bowls, games, blankets, so many EXTRAS!

This is a wonderful house and stay. It is so spacious and well-done, beautifully decorated and the amenities are very generous and thoughtful. The house was spotlessly clean. Thomas is an excellent host, so thoughtful and responsive. You can tell we loved being here. It's very unique and special, with great views and features. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, right on the water in NC. My group loved the dock and patio, which felt both private and open to the beautiful nature surrounding it. Access to paddle boards and kayaks made for a great activity for everyone and the house itself was spacious enough for everyone in our group to relax comfortably. Would highly recommend!

LOVED the stunning view off the back deck, very clean, private, quiet, comfy bed, everything was exceptional and in good working order. Windy one lane road up a steep hillside, but we found it with good directions from host. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

The house was nice and roomy. driveway was a little tricky. view of mountains and golf course was amazing. we had a storm on Saturday night and GODS light show was beyond incredible across the mountains viewing from the deck. Mark was a great host I would recommend the place 10 out of 10.

This place is a great location , stocked well and can walk to everything in town . Communicate great . We were in town for a wedding at Village on Green -so easy to get to everything.

This is the most serene comfortable home we have ever had the pleasure to visit. It is very private, beautifully appointed, and has every convenience you need or could wish for. It is situated right in the middle of quiet nature setting on a small lake with all kinds of birds, fish, turtles and other of Gods beautiful creatures. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We plan to go back hopefully for a longer stay next time. We happened to be in Cashiers to attend a funeral. When we arrived there were fresh flowers and a personal condolence card sitting on the kitchen counter. Such a thoughtful gesture. Definitely recommend and we are going back! Oh and the beds are super comfortable which means a lot to us!!!

The Cottage at Lake Lure provided unmatched views and a relaxed and peaceful retreat. Outdoor spaces are beautiful but unfortunately the boat house that was present at the time of booking had been taken down by the time of our stay, reducing the ability to be on the lake. Access to paddleboards and kayaks a plus and the ability to rent a pontoon was a wonderful bonus. Wifi access was spotty and phone service challenging - this provided some challenges to individuals who planned to work a remote day from the booking. Overall a great stay with fire pit, grill, time on the water, and gorgeous scenery.

We had a quick stay for camp drop off. Very comfortable home and beds. Clear instructions for getting there and staying.

This was my second visit to Marthas and once again it did not disappoint. This time we decided to book specifically for a father son fishing trip. We had a blast caught plenty bass blue gill and some catfish. I normally never catch any bass but they were pumping on my hook all weekend. Martha is always helpful very responsive and so polite she always leaves a little snack in kitchen when you enter. The furniture is cozy and very comfortable the setting is relaxing and beautiful view. The neighbors are polite great restaurants nearby and easy to drive to with many grocery stores close by the locals are so friendly and welcoming.

This was the perfect location for our celebration of my mountain biking husband’s 50’th birthday. While the guys were biking the rest of our crew hiked the private trails at Conastee Falls within the neighborhood and paddle boarded and kayaked on Ticoa Lake. The house is located right on the lake, and adjacent to the boat launch and dock with a ladder, which was very convenient. The home has its own dock with kayaks and paddle boards to use. We did not use the Pedal pontoon. (It is noted in the description but for water access you need to be able to walk a good may steps down to the water from the house or drive down to the Ticoa Lake access one space over if it is too steep fo you to descend and ascend the stairs. We brought our dog with us and Jenni’s home accommodated her so well, with a large crate and dog toys and feeding bowls. The lower deck has the ability to fence in a space for pets while you relax in the hot tub or sit on the deck. The home had everything we needed.

This was our second stay at Lake Song. The view is more beautiful than the pictures convey. It is 12 minutes to Cashiers for restaurants and shopping. Our favorite is Whiteside Brewery which is great for kids. Mandy makes you feel very welcome almost like you are staying at a close friends place. It is a very special place and we hope to return next summer.

I've spent many years using Airbnb. This was a very special experience! The cottage is perfection. The grounds and surrounding area are stunning! But the hosts, Melinda and Hal , made a lasting impression. You both made my birthday one of the best! I am forever grateful and can't wait to return.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

We really enjoyed staying. It was very relaxing and very well clean well stocked and had everything you needed plenty of towels and linens and cleaning supply’s and etc.

Beautiful piece of heaven. Even though it rained the majority of our visit we were still able to enjoy the serenity of the area thanks to the covered porches. This home is so peaceful and quaint. Exactly what I wished for, and we look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend folks stay at this beautiful cabin with the lovely view.

The Airbnb was in a beautiful location and it was very clean. The instructions for check in, amenity use, and check out were easy to understand and very simple. The house was beautiful and the host was friendly and easy to communicate it. He gave us some local places to visit and recommended restaurants that were delicious. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. We had an excellent experience and would book this house again if we come back to the area.

great place. you do need a mountain ready vehicle to access, not rwd.

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Everything was phenomenal. Sleeping with the water rushing right outside was so relaxing. Knowing we were surrounded by nature was refreshing. All you need is some groceries, a good book and great company to have a blast here.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, well furnished, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It felt like home! The views from the house are incredible...even better than the photos. The lake has a small beach that was a highlight and there are some nice trails around the property. The host was very responsive and the information we received in advance very helpful. We were especially appreciative of the host's flexibility with a special request. I highly recommend this location and would love to return.
