Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Asheville

I had a little trouble getting in with the keypad, but that is probably more about my lack of knowledge with keypad entries. 😂 The home was spotless when we arrived and we filled it with lots of laughter and fun! The back deck was amazing - even in a gentle rain. And, our last night there we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Mike and Cate were INCREDIBLY helpful and communicative. They answered every question within minutes and made us feel well taken care of. Departure was easy and they requested minimal prep for departure. They made staying at their home easy and comfortable. 👍

Smithson's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could hope for. fully stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, cooking and dining supplies, the whole nine yards. The yard was great for our dogs, fenced in, private and maintained. The place was full of modern amenities, including the bathroom and kitchen which can make or break a stay for me. Smithson promptly responded to every message I sent and was proactive about check in details, suggestions for hiking, and other good to knows for the stay. I'll definitely be back!

We loved our stay. The hosts were super responsive, and went above and beyond. Finally, an airbnb that looks like the photos and is as described! Clean, bright, and comfortable. Plus, they totally understood my chemical sensitivities and made sure I was safe from artificial fragrances from laundry and cleaning products. We would definitely stay here again!

This was an amazing experience! Cheryl’s home was the perfect place for us this long weekend. The house felt like a true home and had everything you would need in it. The backyard was perfect for our golden and to relax after a day out. It is very close to downtown and montford. The bed and couch were both very comfortable and it has a spacious bathroom with washer/dryer. She also provided a list of recommendations which we utilized quite a bit. We’ve been to Asheville a lot but it was nice to learn about other restaurants, hikes and coffee shops we hadn’t tired yet. Cheryl’s response time is FAST! Check in was easy. We would love to stay here again!

Great place to stay. Very clean and in a great location! Darcy was such a great host. Very helpful and responsive. Could not of asked for a better time in Asheville!

This place was perfect! We felt so comfortable and relaxed. It smelled good, looked good and was really clean! The hot tub was easy to use and we took advantage each night the weather allowed. We didn’t want to leave and will absolutely stay again! Graham was very responsive and helpful. We had not a single thing we didn’t like or wished was different. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Oh yes, easy storage to unpack and “live” here for a week!

The house was exactly like the pictures. Very welcoming and responsive host. The home was has beautiful views and a great hot tub! And fully stocked with everything you will need. I would highly recommend the home.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the only thing we would do differently next time is stay longer! This property was spotlessly clean and well-furnished with comfortable linens, beds, couches and lots of soft blankets/throws. It's located in a quiet, peaceful spot with easy access to local shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the special "extras" like K-cups at the coffee station and the bowl of snacks in the kitchen. And the robes were such a nice touch! The location was great for us, as we had plans to do lots of hiking and biking and being outdoors. Jennifer is a super friendly host and responded quickly to a question during our stay. A++ for The Cottage at Bent Creek! We'd love to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Rodney’s place! It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The patio was peaceful and lovely for relaxing. Rodney and Dulcy greeted us and we felt they were available if we needed help. We attended a wedding nearby and the location was great for exploring Asheville.

Lovely quiet airbnb within walking + driving distance of so many good spots! Michele graciously left us goodies in the mini fridge upon arrival. Just what we needed for a long weekend visiting family :)

We absolutely loved Traci’s place! This AirBnB has everything you need - nespresso for coffee, cards to play, and safety pins for wardrobe malfunctions! The location was perfect for exploring Asheville (hiking, restaurants, breweries, etc!). We really appreciated Traci’s responsiveness and kindness and hope to visit again sometime :)

We spent 3 days at Dawn and Ron’s Asheville home. Their space was very clean, smelled nice, and had every convenience you could possibly need. Unfortunately it was rainy during our trip so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the patio/grill or the goats, but they did greet us with wagging tails as we came and went! Loved the waffle bar and complimentary coffee - such nice touches that made breakfast a breeze! Also loved that they provided toiletries and washer/dryer. This space provided all the comforts of home, about 15 minutes to all the AVL activities. Dawn and Ron were very communicative and kind hosts. Would recommend their home to anyone!

Lynn and Bill were amazing hosts! Such nice people and so willing to help and make sure you have the most amazing stay. Their place is beautiful and has more than what you need for an amazing stay. The view from the bedroom and living room is spetacular. If you are looking for a peaceful place, great location, comfortable and with a great price, this is it. No doubt about it. Thank you for hosting my family and I. My favorite part was the fire pit with the views of the mountains while my daughter had smores for the first time, will never forget that moment. We loved their place. We could live there. Down to earth and the host are the same. We are coming back for sure. We thank them for the hard work , it shows. Beautifully put together

This was a great unit, and I will definitely stay here again. The unit was very clean, free of clutter, and well equipped with everything we needed. The furniture appeared to be new, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was private, quiet and right beside a peaceful stream. I loved the country setting. Communication was excellent with Gabrielle.

Angela’s place was everything we hoped for and more. It was spotless, tastefully decorated, and felt incredibly warm and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, with fresh, cozy linens, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. One of the highlights for us was the patio with its table and chairs overlooking a peaceful view of trees and a nearby trail. We loved starting our mornings there, sipping coffee, listening to chirping of the birds and flipping through one of the thoughtfully placed books inside. Our stay was truly unforgettable. The location was also ideal—just about 20 minutes from the airport and close to local attractions. Thank you, Angela, for providing such a lovely and memorable home away from home!

Nick went above and beyond to make our time at the cabin as special as possible. He allowed us to use the space for my sister’s tiny, family-only wedding and it was perfect! The views are absolutely gorgeous up there. Nick communicated thoroughly, answered any questions, and went out of his way to add special details, like a full length mirror for the bride’s getting ready room. We’re super grateful for all of his help and couldn’t recommend more his cabin for a peaceful stay with beautiful views.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the 17 Degrees North Mountain Cabin. Everything was just as described and shown in the pictures, perhaps even more beautiful. It's difficult to capture in pictures the sheer size and scope of the mountainous landscape and peaceful sounds of the various birds, livestock, and river. We loved our little romantic getaway along with our dogs, and the fenced area was a massive plus for us. Horses graze right in front near sundown. Fireflies illuminate the fields at night as if the countryside is shimmering. Low-light pollution offers great views of the night sky and stars, especially from the hammock. Catherine was an exceptional host: friendly, responsive, detailed, and very knowledgeable while on the tour she offered, which I suggest you take her up on. I would absolutely recommend this stay. We booked our return trip before the current one had even ended.

More often than not, rental properties fail to deliver what was promised. This one hit the mark for everything that it promised. Beautiful views and a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. All basic supplies provided. Clean, neat and uncluttered furnishings, plus everything needed was there and in great working condition. Beds were comfortable. The driveway was an experience, but it added to the adventure in a unique sort of way. Morning coffee and sunset cocktails on the balcony were incredibly wonderful for relaxing.

Can't wait to come back! So glad to have found this beautiful gem. It was so peaceful & I loved seeing the sheep. Everything was smooth & clear in communication. One of my favorite parts was the hammock out front & all the cute and wonderful decor. Thank you Ms Sharon ~ we're so grateful !!

This spot was peaceful, private and exactly what I was hoping for. The cabin was clean and thoughtfully prepared. It felt rustic and inviting in all the right ways. I especially appreciated the personal touches…the host left a handwritten card and some snacks for me when I arrived which was a simple but meaningful welcome after a long drive. The location was quiet and surrounded by nature. It felt tucked away yet was still easy to access some great hiking trails and it’s just a 7 minute drive to downtown Weaverville if you want to grab a bite to eat or check out the local shops. The landscape around the cabin was well maintained. The quiet mornings on the porch with coffee in hand, followed by evenings around the fire pit were hard to beat. If you’re looking for a place to unplug, recharge, and enjoy the stillness, this is it. Highly recommend for solo retreats or a quiet getaway with someone who appreciates the slower pace. I’d definitely stay here again!

The cedar cottage was peaceful and relaxing with maximum care and thoughtfulness in all the details. It's designed to be cozy as if it were someone's own home. Loved listening to the rain on the private back porch and watching birds and wind through the trees from the sauna/cold plunge. Truly restorative - thank you!

"Modern cabin" is a modest description ... I would call this a mountain retreat! There were four of us (two couples), but the home would have easily accommodated eight. The design of the house was well thought out and roomy, and the decor was stylish and tasteful. It did not seem like a rental. The kitchen was fully equipped. Thick towels and a bubbly hot tub awaited our arrival, and the Saturday morning scones & hot chocolate were a delightful treat! Perfect spot for a remote get-away, but still just 20 minutes from downtown Ashville and many other attractions. We could not have been happier with this "cabin"!

This little cabin was a gem and cozy hideaway in the mountains. The fenced in yard was great for our dog to explore and the fireplace made for a relaxing evening. Easy access to Asheville and nearby adventures!
