Chalet holiday rentals in Asheville

Chalet was as described. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Very clean and well equipped. Just wish there was water in the lake! Next time.

What a beautiful area! The lake is stunning and so was the house. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and it was a perfect location. We would definitely come back to this listing!

The pictures do not do this place justice! Tami’s home was absolutely stunning and we felt right at home during our stay. It is even bigger in person than the pictures make it seem! The place was spotless and very cozy. The view was absolutely gorgeous and one of the best parts of our stay. Tami was very responsive when I needed to reach out. If you are looking for a quiet get away - this is the place to be! We will absolutely be booking with Tami again if we find ourselves in the area!

This is the most unique house we’ve ever stayed in. It is built around rocks coming out of the mountainside and has a lot of quirky, one of a kind features. It was obviously built with a lot of attention to detail. The bedrooms are all up a spiral staircase which would be nearly impossible if you have mobility issues, but we loved the character. It was spotlessly clean, close to incredible restaurants, Asheville and Biltmore are nearby, and it’s secluded and cozy. We had a small issue with the A/C and Jason was out in only a few minutes to help. He gave us some tips for the area and some history for the house. What wonderful service!

We were scheduled to stay at this house for a week, but due to Hurricane Helene, we had to evacuate after three days. For the time we were there, the house was very nice and we greatly enjoyed the large living room area. That was definitely the highlight of the home. We would have liked to explore the area more and utilize some of their recommendations, but unfortunately, that was not possible. Would recommend the house to people looking for a large area for people to gather and talk.

We had the opportunity to stay here to celebrate a family birthday and enjoy the surrounding area of Black Mountain and Asheville. Our group was 5 people and one dog and the cabin easily accommodated us, giving us lots of space to relax and hang out. Pulling up you're immediately greeted by the sounds of birds and a beautiful view into the woods. Being surrounded by nature was exactly what we were looking for and this place delivers! There is a long porch upstairs that offers a serene space to enjoy the view while still in the comfort of a good rocking chair. There are HUGE windows throughout the home, which means even inside you are surrounded by the forest. What's extra special is that you get all this nature while also being just 5 minutes (!) from downtown Black Mountain, with plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy during the day. One quirk: The way the rooms are set up meant voices carry into each bedroom. We didn't find this to be a big deal, but worth knowing.

This place was great. Everything was clean, and we had plenty of room for our whole family. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Snookery! Very spacious and everything was very clean. It’s very peaceful & private, although had no problems getting an Uber/Lyft out there to take us to town. We did find it made it easier by scheduling a pick up time well in advance. Aaron was extremely responsive and does a great job of providing information and details. Highly recommend The Snookery!

This home very much met the needs for our group of adults and children. Location is very accessible by car to the attractions of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Fantastic porches for enjoying the local natural sounds and environment. Hosts were very responsive and ensure timely delivery of relevant details. Would gladly consider again.

We had a wonderful time spent in this house. Joshua and Carrie were very responsive . We had a small issue and they actually came right away to fixed the problem. The view was amazing. We loved the hot tub, sauna, deck and game room. The house was very spacious for 6 adults. The beds were very comfortable too! Very close to downtown Black Mountain. We would highly recommend this house.

We loved our stay!

An absolutely gorgeous modern home in the mountains that presents even better than the pictures. The home is immaculate inside and out with breathtaking views. Kevin is easy to work with and very responsive. If you are planning to explore the breweries around Asheville, I would highly recommend a designated driver rather than booking a rideshare. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Rhododendron Ridge and would recommend to anyone, truly a 5 star property.

Our family rented Lizzy's place for a long weekend, wedding event. The house and the grounds are spectacular - a gorgeous wide porch with lots of rocking chairs, overlooking lovely sloping grounds. The house was delightfully cool - tall windows, 12 foot ceilings - and beautifully furnished with antiques in gracious rooms. The kitchen was well-stocked, towels were plentiful, the beds were comfy. It was as much fun hanging out and wandering the grounds as it was dancing at the wedding! I wish we were staying longer. It is so very homey.
