Amazing people!!! We had a mishap with grandchildren and caused damage. Robert was so kind and understanding and easy to work with to resolve the issue. The house was amazing with even better views. Very clean and well equipped. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Erin Moore

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage in Sanford, NC. The place was impeccably clean, and the view was beautiful. We especially loved watching the turtles, particularly the one with the distinctive shell pattern. The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get out of them each morning. Although we couldn't go fishing or canoeing due to the rain, it made our stay even more relaxing. Being off the grid was a refreshing change, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Father's Day weekend with my son and husband. We're looking forward to returning regularly! My family and I stayed here for about five days. I have three young boys and the bunk bedroom was absolutely great. We took full advantage of the outdoor pool and golf cart. Jessica was quick to answer any questions we had. Will be recommending to others!

The house was as advertised: beautiful location, the outdoor space was really incredible, and the kitchen upstairs/theater setup downstairs were popular hang out spaces. The only issue was the alarms on the back doors. Each of the back sliding doors had a manual alarm that had to be pressed to exit and enter the house. They were incredibly loud, even when used as instructed. They are obviously there for safety reasons but it made it really difficult at times to be in and out of the house to enjoy the wonderful outdoor space.

it was the perfect setting for our family vacation with our adult children and their significant others. In fact, it was the perfect back drop on the dock for my son to propose to his girlfriend! wonderful memories here! peaceful and beautiful setting and short drive to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back sometime! The home looks just like the pictures and is very well stocked. There were lots of clean towels and every bed had four pillows. The walk to the dock is short but is quite steep with stairs. We didn't encounter anyone during our weekend trip, but it does appear that it may be a shared dock as the path connects to another home. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. Coffee, cream (shelf stable) and sugar were also provided. The bed was comfy, and the dedicated AC unit for the main bedroom was really nice to have. As this place is right by the lake, you should be prepared for some spiders and bugs. We didn't see anything big inside, but the kayaks had quite a few in and on them. Once we cleaned them up, we really enjoyed going out on the lake for a couple hours.

It is such a wonderful place to stay. This was my first time staying out of state alone and I don’t think I could’ve picked a better place. The lakeside view was such a wonderful thing to walk out to in the mornings. It was always so peaceful and if you’re looking for quiet time you definitely have it. I hope to book again in the future!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

Very secluded and peaceful. Wish the weather had been better throughout our stay but it was very nice to wake up to the sound of the waves and nature. I will say if you have a toddler to make sure to take a safety gate. He made it a challenge wanting to climb the stairs so we went out to buy some for our stay. WiFi is spotty (which is a good thing) but I didn’t realize none of my messages were sent until this morning. My husband and son enjoyed some fishing and caught a few stingrays. I would love to go back later in the year.

We absolutely LOVED this cottage on the lake! The view was beautiful, and the kids caught a lot of fish off of the dock! It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Jack was a great host. Very responsive and hospitable. Already talking about when we can come back!

We had an amazing stay at the lake house! The weather was great so we were able to kayak on the lake with the provided kayaks and some we brought, and the house itself is gorgeous. The windows facing the lake are large and provide a wonderful view of surroundings. Everything was comfortable and they had many amenities to take advantage of. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful, Cozy little cottage. The small touches made it feel like a home away from home. Very comfortable, and very straight forward. Was visiting for family in the area and will likely book again when we are back in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous property! We enjoyed fishing and playing in the creek all weekend. Would definitely come stay again!

We were overly pleased with our stay! The home is stunning, exactly what I expected! The house looked exactly like the pictures except there are a few new renovations added, like the fridge is updated to a bigger silver one and there is a new washer and dryer! The location is very secluded, which is exactly what we wanted for our getaway trip. Check in was super simple as you don’t even need to “check in” just apply a code given by the host! The hot tub and jets were great with lots of different light choices! The yard is completely fenced so both of our medium sized dogs were able to run around and LOVED it! The deck is large and beautiful! Exactly as described in the description! I would definitely like to book again in the future!

While our stay was not a good one Carolyn was a great host. Very responsive and always communicated regarding our issue. While our stay was not a good one I am confident you will enjoy your stay. The home is very comfortable and super clean. We were only here three nights but the septic/main drain needed to be cleaned out. It wasn’t working for half the time. The bathrooms weren’t usable during this time. Carolyn was very quick to try and resolve the issue. It was pouring rain so it made the job that much tougher. Carolyn refunded 2 nights stay so I believe she felt really bad about our experience.Overall I would stay here again since I feel our issue was just a one off.

Beautiful location with great hiking along the river. Close to restaurants. We had a great time exploring the area around the river and finding the waterfall nearby. Great response from host for our 1 concern. Directions to get there were perfect.

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Everything was phenomenal. Sleeping with the water rushing right outside was so relaxing. Knowing we were surrounded by nature was refreshing. All you need is some groceries, a good book and great company to have a blast here.

It was a better stay than we could have expected! Such a great price too! We had a blast and it was so very relaxing. The home had all we needed for a relaxing and fun filled family adventure.
