It was a pleasure staying at Laura and Michael's lovely and comfy king guest suite, with its historic details and eclectic furnishings. The kitchen area had everything needed to start the day including breakfast. The large bathroom was spotless and up to date. I was surprised at the spaciousness of the bedroom and wish I had the bed in my own home. The only downside was rain, which prevented me from sitting outside and enjoying charming garden.

Melinda was super responsive to a couple questions I had. Was able to suggest some local restaurants to eat at. Instructions were clear and check in/out was super easy. Super clean, quiet and looks exactly like photos.

Great location in a horse farm with a pond. The host is very flexible and friendly. She met us upon our arrival and showed us the rental. She gave us clear instructions and made local suggestions. She responded very fast to our inquiries and was approachable. The cabin is nice, a combination of a rural house and a modern reno. The beds and the couches were very comfortable. The kitchen was renovated and fully equipped. It is the perfect place to relax in a quiet space or to attend a nearby soccer tournament, like in our case. There is a pond in the property and you have access to kayaks if you want to get in the water. There are also chairs just to relax next to the water. The only recommendation would be to update the TV system, which was very slow and would stop to buffer. This is a common problem in many rentals, which do not offer cable service. In any case, you could log into your Netflix account if you wanted. All in all, recommended without hesitation.

I was traveling alone to visit friends in the area and The Porch was the perfect space for me! It was beautiful and I felt safe in the area. Everything I didn’t even know I needed was available. Driving in the area was a little tricky at night, as someone who hasn’t navigated NH much, but John’s detailed directions and descriptions helped when I arrived in the dark. I would absolutely stay here again!
