Rising Sun Teepee

ChristopheRating, 5 stars7 months ago
short two-night stay at the teepees of the wild river, very pleasant, despite the temperature being around 0 at night, the propane heater does its job very well! A break from the city that allows you to meet, recharge, and be in the moment to the sound of the water that passes nearby. The outdoor fireplace allows for good times by the fire to observe the stars.

This was my second trip to Andrew's tipi in Woodstock. The location right on the creek is amazing! Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the water from the creek and waking up to bright blue skies peaking in the top of the tipi from the smoke opening. We brought inflatable tubes and just floated along the creek in the afternoon. We discovered the trails across the creek which were just lovely to walk through and we got to enjoy a quicker walk into town the next morning for breakfast. I've also learned to pack lots of snacks and food because when you get there, you're not going to want to leave :)

Tipi in Central Vermont(Strafford)

KaylaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Anita + Mark are very helpful. My husband and I checked in late and Mark greeted us in person, and showed us how to close up the top of the tipi in case it rained. We then made a little fire inside and had s'mores, then star-gazed! Anita and Mark were very sweet in making us a full pot of coffee and letting us use her beautiful handmade pottery. If you have time, you should check out Anita's pottery and Mark's creative work as well!! They recommended a great breakfast place/general store in the town over. Be mindful of layering up if you get cold easily! We slept very cozily though because they offer so many thick blankets in the tent! The mornings are full of bird song, which I loved. It was truly a getaway.

Safari Tent Glamping,S15-CedarPt, East Hampton, NY

JamesRating, 5 stars11 months ago
What a gem. Had a last-minute work trip to Riverhead, and given the season and proximity to the Hamptons, hotel and airbnb rates are obviously very high. Decided to try one of the least-expensive lodging options (tent glamping in a county park…at the beach!) – and it was delightful! The tents are well-appointed and close to the water; staff at the Camp Store – where you check in and can buy delicious food, beer, ice and supplies – (as well as the housekeeping staff) are all friendly and super helpful. And the vibe is just super chill. This is the best way to be in the Hamptons in July. 10/10 will book this again.

River front Tipi in 88 acres in Catskill mountains

AndrewRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Our experience with Ting was nothing short of perfection. Following multiple Airbnb experiences with many hosts around the world, Ting was by far the most well-rounded, responsive, and accommodating. From the moment we booked, Ting generously offered her insight into the area, kind flexibility with our requests, and went out of her way to ensure that our trip went as smoothly as possible. Her entire property (Tipi & Farmhouse) was exactly as outlined in the listing, if not better. Thank you Ting for your kindness and I can't wait to stay with you again!

Black Bear Rustic Camp on the Brook

KimRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Denise was wonderful! She was responsive and flexible with check in and out. Her camp was perfect for a night of “unplugging”, quiet, with plenty of supplies. We did have to share an outhouse with the “neighboring tent”, but it was not an issue. We are already thinking of coming back.

Luxury Glamping Tipi at Smoky Hollow

JanisRating, 5 stars41 months ago
We Absolutely had the best time! Staying in a Tipi was such a fun unique experience and I highly recommend it. My teenagers were unsure at the beginning but they enjoyed it as much as we did. The interior was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable I wanted to stay in it all day, there was plenty of heat although we never needed it as well as space, we were 4 adults staying there. The firepit was nice but we never got a chance to use it, the goats that came to visit daily were so cute. The bath barn was totally functional and I never had to wait for a shower! I am glad I read a previous review and got a golf cart as I think the walk back and forth to my car might have been a bit much but otherwise everything was perfect! I really hope that Smokey Hollow Outdoor Resort has much success as it is a great experience for all ages, close to everything and we really enjoyed the local recommendations as well. Our hosts were super friendly and the communication was on point! Thank you so much for a great weekend outing!

Glamping in VT

DiMariRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Our stay here was perfect and exactly as expected and described. I booked this spot in North Hero for its proximity to Lake Champlain and the Burlington area. It’s about a five minute ride to the nearest boat launch and 35-45 minutes from the city of Burlington. Opening day for duck hunting season is in the beginning of October and Ada gave us the opportunity to cancel our reservation. Because our expectations were set and the days we stayed were very windy, the sound of the occasional gunshot was not often and when sounded not bothersome at all. Given the time of year we were grateful for all the linens and blankets, but I was happy to have brought my own cold weather sleeping bag that also converts into a large down comforter. Everything about the set up was very thoughtful and intentional. From the plastic Champaign flutes, to the kindling and lighter left to start a fire, to the q-tips and makeup wipes left in the bathroom, I was beyond impressed with the finer details. Grateful💕

This has been probably my favorite trip with the family. The kids totally loved the teepee, cooking on the fire, catching fish, and petting the farm animals. Mr. Troy told us to treat it like home and by the end, my kids were hugging everyone on the ranch.

Tipi Tranquility-Glamping at it's best

AlexRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What an amazing and unique experience!! We stayed in the Tipi for three nights and it was unlike any other place we have stayed. It was beautifully decorated and it felt like we were living back in time. Mark was extremely accommodating and helpful - He was very responsive and communication was great. Lots of cute places nearby within 20 to 30 minutes so would definitely recommend!

Mama love, 14ft Glamping Tipi

AmyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
If you are looking for an adventure off the beaten path, if you are tired of all the traditional hotels then this place is for you. The drive up is not for the faint of heart and you definitely need an AWD vehicle, but it will take your breath away when you get there. This is a peaceful retreat in the clouds looking down on the mountain tops. The teepees are exquisite inside with all the amenities, coffee and tea, a small fridge, super comfy beds and perfect temperature regulation inside. It rained all night when we were there and we stayed perfectly dry. The bathroom is so cute and perfectly clean, with tons of fluffy towels and hot water in the shower. The fire pit is adorable and the shared outdoor grill, kitchen and dining space are great as well. Kevin even delivers fresh homemade muffins in the morning, ours were strawberry and still warm!! These hosts are just as amazing as their property, we can’t wait to go back and stay a little longer next time!!!
