Alex was a wonderful host! The campsite was exactly as described and the directions were easy to follow. Alex was there when I arrived to show me around, and he even offered to help take stuff to my campsite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Campsites on the Vineyard

MeganRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Simple camping situation in a large field behind the vineyard with 4-5 other sites, spaced out, but there is no hiding from your neighbors. Two individual bathroom stall/sheds that are probably two football fields away from the campsites. You drive through a field to get to your site. Very quiet at night with beautiful star viewing. Very scenic and clean property. Harry also provides lots of firewood. He was easy to communicate with and was very friendly.

Firefly Upstate Glamping at Gatherwild Ranch

MatthewRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We can’t recommend a stay at Laura’s property more highly! She has created a magical oasis at Gatherwild. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and offer plenty to do and see without ever leaving (beautiful walking trails, friendly farm animals, vegetable gardens, games and crafts)— our kids were in heaven. The location is also ideal, close to lots of great food, culture, and nature. Sleeping quarters were clean and comfy, and the communal kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. It made for a seamless glamping experience with our kids. Laura was a wonderful host and we hope to come back soon!

Pine Haven Tree Tentsite at Camp Earth Connection

MarkRating, 5 stars56 months ago
Really well kept beautiful area right outside of Ithaca. I would put on my list of off the beaten path gems. I was not sure what to expect, but the site and bathrooms/shower rooms were extremely clean and showers had hot running water. Susan is very organized and keeps things in a way so that your trip will go smoothly.

In the forest. Secluded. Glamping.

GraceRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Great stay at Stephen’s. He advised us not to use our non 4WD vehicle to get up to the site but we tried anyway because we arrived after dark. He told us he could help get our car unstuck and patiently did so. It was a serene place and we tried some of his distillery items, which were tasteful and great (no hangover!!). Friendly and loving cat who follows him around as well.

Beautiful place if you are looking for a peaceful basic stay in nature. A bit of a challenge when on a motorcycle, but worth it. Nico showed a beautiful place to swim in the river Gorge. Tents are very clean and bed slept wonderful.

Cozy Hideaway! 10 min to Torch, 30 min to TC!

MeghanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Donald and Karen’s tent was a perfect, cozy home base for our mid-November getaway. We had so much fun exploring the property and using the wood stove ( a definite highlight!). The space was charming, clean, and peaceful. Donald and Karen provided easy-to-follow instructions and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you so much! We would love to stay here again!

Quiet country in a luxury tent

SharisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Scott’s place provides a fabulous glamping experience. The tent is large and comfortable and the wood stove works great. The updated outhouse was convenient. Scott was very helpful in getting us settled in. And the tent is perfectly located—the babbling brook nearby process the perfect background noise, the nearby trails were beautiful, and everything was peaceful.

Nature Immersed Glamping Tent — "The Haven"

Tammy KingRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you’re looking for a quiet, private and super comfy stay somewhere to enjoy the outdoors, then this is the place. Becky and Jim have a beautiful place. I stayed one night and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. Having the golf carts provides really easy access to the entire area, although we walked quite a bit just to enjoy the weather and really take in how gorgeous this place was. The community area was very well maintained, the bathrooms/showers were spotless 10/10 for cleanliness which is important to us. I loved the decor, and even the bull shaped Grill.. (you have to see it in person). The tent was very well put together. I felt very comfortable and at home while not loosing that woodsy feel. I loved falling asleep to the sounds of the outdoors. I highly recommend a stay with Becky and Jim. They were exceptional hosts. I will be back.

Adirondack Glamping on Private Lake & 300+ acres

MadisonRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a fabulous time in the Safari tent. We are used to camping so we brought everything to be self sufficient. At the time of our stay we didnt have electricity or water at the site so we brought our own. Portapotty was spotless and comfortable to use. We camped with my mom, mother-in-law, and my 3.5 year old daughter. Everyone slept well and LOVED the surroundings. We used the kayaks and life vests on the property, saw and heard loons and geese. Pond was stocked with trout but we sadly didnt have time to fish! VERY quiet. Hosts were extremely friendly and responsive. We will be back!

Conowingo Creek Campsite

VictorRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was the perfect weekend getaway, especially for our toddler’s first camping experience. It was also super dog friendly, and our pup loved playing fetch in the creek. Gini and Kelly were incredible hosts. They even let our daughter feed their chickens, which was a special experience for us. They were both responsive to our needs and proactively went above and beyond to make it a great visit. We’re so happy!

Firefly on the Creekside

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our first experience using AirBnb and Jodee was fantastic with providing instructions on how to check-in and use things around the site. The price was absolutely worth it! There were adorable touches around the tent and site to make it feel cozy and homey: board and card games, decorations, toiletries, etc. the campsite was a perfect location because it felt very secluded but still close to the highway if you need to go get anything. Our dog had the best time running up and down the creek for hours at a time. I was pleased with how many bug traps/repellants were around so it was not as buggy as I thought it would be. It was awesome to have so much firewood readily there! The outdoor shower was nice and I was excited to try the soaking tub outside but it was too cold, so I’ll definitely be back in the summer to try it out next time! I love the guest book that was there; my husband and I wrote in it and got to read other guests’ entries. Great experience all around! Thank you!

Tent in the Trees, Down by the River

ChristyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
My 13-yr-old son and I needed a weekend getaway. The yurt at Waterloo overlooking the creek was perfect. We had everything we needed. We relaxed around a fire, visited the waterfalls and braved wading in the cold November water, enjoyed a hammock we brought, read books, and enjoyed a night walk with the full moon. Cookeville is a short distance for town runs. We just needed rest this time, but next time we'll probably venture out to other hikes and waterfalls in this beautiful area.
