Holiday rentals with beach access in Appalachian Mountains

The host was very responsive and the place was great all around. Views are amazing, parking is out front of the unit. This spot is one of the best for the price and worked well for three people for two nights. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in town.

Looks exactly as listed! Great views from the balcony with nice natural light from inside. The evenings had plenty of relaxing fireplace heaters inside with dim light settings. Heated bathroom floor was my personal favorite. A great park to walk in nearby made it the perfect relaxing getaway we were hoping for!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Angela’s property. So many beautiful plants and everything was so clean and well maintained outside. A real oasis. The room was very clean and the linens smelled so good. I am a germaphobe and I never felt uncomfortable staying there. It was near so many attractions while also being very private and peaceful —we spent every evening sitting on the beach just taking it all in. Can’t recommend enough!

Jason and Crystal were great hosts. Their place was beautiful and we fell in love. Easy beach access nearby. We rented a car just to visit other places that were not walkable, which was beneficial. They provided beach towels, chairs and umbrella which we had the pleasure to use everyday. Their place is very cozy, makes you feel right at home. Everything was smooth with check in and they were great resources for the surrounding area and were able to give recommendations on restaurants, beaches, bars and nearby shops. Can’t wait to visit again, will definitely look for their listing. Also, for those visiting, don’t get discouraged by the weather. It stated rain all week for our trip and we seen small amount of rain. Made it to the beach 3 out of 4 days! Thanks for the great accommodations. Jen and Frank.

Beautiful and comfortable home, nicely decorated. Felt like home away from home. The place is very cozy with a great view at the river, very relaxing. I have to say it has exceeded my expectations. Judi and Dave are very responsive. I would book again in a heartbeat.

We had such a great stay! The hosts were super accommodating and really attentive to anything we needed. The place was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with all the essentials (and then some). They went out of their way to make us feel at home, and it honestly made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable. Peter's place was amazing. the beds were so comfy, and the entire place was pretty much spotless. we felt very comfortable and enjoyed relaxing at the location. Peter went above and beyond to give us tips on places to checkout and scenic spots to hike/explore. 110% recommend when coming to see New York's nature side.

This was our second time staying at Lauren & Guy’s lovely place, and it felt like coming home! Superbly clean, has all the amenities we could have wanted, and convenient to the main highway. This is a perfect spot for couples, and we had a great time on our babymoon/anniversary trip. Highly recommend!

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

Very nice small place for a little getaway from home, very calm and very much in nature. The lake view is amazing once you get down there. Everything we needed was there, as described. Great stay and good vibes all around.

This place is AMAZING! So many fun things to do! The hot tub in the cave was mind blowing, we loved it! Our 6yr old enjoyed feeding and petting the bunnies and chickens! Fishing was so much fun! Ken was an amazing host and responded very quickly! !!5 STARS!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Miles is a fantastic host! Not only was he proactive in communicating details regarding entry and amenities, he went above and beyond with little fresh baked goods, Smart Home instructions guide, and providing literally everything you'd need to feel at home (bathrobes, teas, serving dishes+several cups, even milk and cream in the fridge!) The Hot tub was great, the place was spotlessly clean, and the balcony views were a pleasure to enjoy. This is a great house with lovely sky lights in the kitchen and beautiful location right by the boardwalk! 11/10 ✨

We had the most amazing weekend. All of Kimberly’s recommendations were right on the money, and we were so impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and beauty of the home! Watching the sunrise over the water every morning from the front porch was heavenly!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jay's place. The sunsets are beautiful and it is a very calming place, inside and out. We definitely recommend staying here.

Book this place immediately if you’re looking for a relaxing family stay, situated minutes from gorgeous beaches with swimming lakes and want to spend evenings bbqing and looking at the incredible view. Lovely place,just as described. River running out back,very peaceful and picturesque. Basia and Bradley communicated very well . They checked in at various times to make sure we had what we needed. Comfortable beds and very clean invironment. Thank you again for having us.

We just returned from an amazing vacation for our 18th Anniversary. It was our first time to Topsail, so we didn't know about no beach access at high tide, so that was our fault. We walked down quite a bit to be able get more beach time. It was nice at high tide to sit on the balcony though. So peaceful and the break we needed. Condo was nice and just as pictured. Jesse was a great host and we enjoyed staying at their place! We appreciated the private beach to play at and the pool was well maintained. There were plenty of food and entertainment options that Jesse recommended in their binder, and all were fantastic choices. The views were amazing from the living room/patio, and it felt very private. We couldn’t see any other guest and did not hear neighbors. It was very peaceful being on site and we could definitely see about renting the place again in the future! Jesse was a great host, communicated early and often, and made sure our stay was a pleasant one. Overall, great experience and thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home!

Beautifully updated condo with great views. Host was very responsive. The unit was nice an clean and fully stocked with everything you needed including a very nice coffee maker! The master bedroom does get a little hotter than the rest of the unit but the view with floor to ceiling windows is worth making the rest of the unit a little chilly to compensate. I would definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at Mark & Lisa’s place for a night and had a great night. Mark’s very responsive and gave very detailed instructions before the check-in. The place is nice and has all amenities one needs. We didn’t get to use most of them such as BBQ, patio furnitures, dishwasher, coffee machine, etc , due to limited time there, but these are all available.

Bryan is super responsive and easy to communicate with. He notified us of detailed check in and check out instructions. He then checked in on us towards the end of the trip to make sure all of our expectations were met; to which they were. This condo is exactly as described in the listing and pictures. It’s clean and cozy. The view from the bedroom is unmatched. The location is perfect in a sense that it’s not too close to the boardwalk, making the area a little more quiet, but also within 10 mins to the best restaurants and bars. The staff at the condo and even other guests were friendly and courteous. If you’re afraid of heights, this might not be the best place to stay for you, but as I previously mentioned, the view from the master bedroom can’t be beat. That view alone, would have us stay again. I would definitely recommend this stay to others.
