My accommodation is 5 minuts walk from the trainstation Kogerveld, Zaandam. Via public transports in the neighborhood you will arrive in 10 min. in the city center of Zaandam or Zaanse Schans en in 20 min. Amsterdam centrum. Within 5 minutes walk you will find a shopping area with supermarkets and different kind of shops and restaurants.

A lovely mansion with a lovely spacious garden 3 minutes away from the train station, 10 minutes from Amsterdam and the Zaanse Schans. You sometimes imagine yourself in the countryside because even though you are in the middle of the center of Zaandam, the birds wake you up in the morning and because of the non-existent street it is wonderfully quiet. A few minutes away you are on the Dam of Zaandam and with the Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam around the corner, you can go all the way.

Quiet stay near Zaanse Schans& Amsterdam

My cozily furnished house with furniture from India is in a quiet street with no cars. The front is by the water, where you can spot ducks, birds and herons. At the back you have a view of the greenery and you are very quiet. It is also suitable as a retreat & artist house as you sit quietly and yet very close to the shops & people if you want to look that up. It's like a "nature cottage", but in a urban area. The energy of the house is calming.

Perfect get away close to Amsterdam. With the train station (Koog aan de Zaan) at walking distance of 7 minutes and a train trip of 13 minutes, you are on Amsterdam Central in no time. The famous Zaanse Schans is not far either at just a short 3 minute trip by train and a short walk. The living room that opens to a spacious garden is the ideal spot for breakfast and a cool evening drink after a busy day sightseeing.
