Guest house holiday rentals in Zaanstad

We had a great time here with our family with two small children. They loved seeing the cows and especially feeding the chickens with Simon and Dominique.

Gemma and Dirk made sure our stay was comfortable and check in was absolutely stress-free. They were available if we needed help and provided us with tips to get us settled in Heemstede. All the necessary bits are in walking distance including a train station with trains running to Den Haag and Amsterdam every few minutes. The kitchen provides all necessary things and the bathrooms are tidy and one has a big shower. Everything like in the pictures! For good restaurants you'd best take the bus to Haarlem Center. It's a 20 min drive or a nice stroll along the canals. For those considering the apartment please note that all touristy cities require a train from Heemstede. But this was crucial for us to be at rest in the evening. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place to everyone seeking a private retreat off the tracks.

A wonderful stay in a central location!

There were four of us, 2 adults and 2 children between 5 and 8 and for us the tiny house was just right. You are quickly on the beach, by bus and train you can go to Amsterdam and nearby is a nice dune area. Laura, Jurre and their children are very warm and helpful hosts and we felt completely comfortable. We were there over New Year's Eve and since it rained a lot, it was good to have a small carpet and a shoe rack so as not to carry the dirt into the house. Because you are right in the hallway when you come through the entrance door. We would come back back.

Everything was great, location & view and the cute beautiful house! I karen was so accommodating and great, offered early check in and agreed to late check out, very responsive to queries! We loved our stay!

We had a very nice stay at Ton's place. Very quiet place, perfect to rest and to discover Nordholland, its mills and its polders.

Nice place to stay during our time in Amsterdam. The location is very good and they were very clear and responsive in any communication.

We stayed here for a week and felt warm and comfortable, just like being at home. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking and preparing meals very convenient. Lia was kind and proactive, offering timely help whenever needed. We truly enjoyed our time here.

Our stay in this house was wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable and well decorated. We especially enjoy the tranquility of the environment and its excellent situation to visit Amsterdam and the beautiful surrounding villages. The host was very friendly and attentive, with immediate response and giving us many recommendations to see and how to move around the area. No doubt an experience we would not repeat. We definitely recommend this house.

It is really a great location in the middle of a beautiful villa district just outside Amsterdam. Nevertheless, the city center can be easily reached by bus. Perfect for us as guests who arrived by car. And saves expensive travel costs, saves expensive hotel prices and is still fast in the city center. Everything is very lovingly maintained in the middle of a beautiful garden. A great one-room apartment. DAX is a great host who responded very quickly and very informatively and gave really helpful tips.

Beautifully furnished cottage in the garden of the owners, so you can enjoy nature. Beautifully located, wooded area and 20 minutes by bike from the beach of Zandvoort and the center of Haarlem. We mainly went there to cycle and eat (beach bars) and you can do that to your heart's content. National Park Zuid-Kennemerland nearby with loose horses, a beautiful bird lake (nesting place cormorants) and whitening tents that you can follow online where they are (path was closed during our stay). By car, we also visited the Schoorl dunes. In short: we had a very good time!

We loved our stay at Huis te Krommenie very much. We were warmly welcomed by Bauke and Jeanne and received clear and nice information about the history of the house (a former GP practice) and how the atmosphere of the B&B was created. In addition, they gave us nice tips about the area and good eateries. The bed was lovely and also the "old" shower was surprisingly pleasant. We really enjoyed it and have absolutely no complaints or comments. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this stay!

The mini apartment is very cozy. It had a small but sufficient and beautiful garden. The area is very nice! Petra is charming and very concerned about helping with everything! You feel at home! It's not that close to Amsterdam, but a few blocks away there's a train and in about 20 minutes you get to the city. Highly recommended!

Always stay here when in Zanvoort. Perfectly placed for the town and the circuit. Very clean and everything you need.

A perfect view and very clean and well equipied apartment. Very close to the metro, and supermarkets. we recommend.

We stayed at Petra's for two nights. The apartment really offered everything you needed and it was just as beautifully furnished as the pictures already showed. Petra responded super fast and always very nicely. She was also very accommodating regarding arrival and departure. My girlfriend and I would recommend a trip here :)

We were able to spend a week's vacation with our 1 1/2-year-old son at Leah and Tom's and would have liked to stay there much longer. The two have a wonderful, cozy apartment and a fantastic garden that invites you to linger and was a great place for our son to romp and explore. Both in the apartment and the garden, you immediately notice that a place to feel good has been created with a lot of love. There were even a lot of toys for our son. :-) In addition, we want to say one more thing: We have already used AirBnB many times, but we have never had such great, friendly and helpful landlords like Leah and Tom. They were always there to help and advise (especially when it came to tips for activities with our son) and there was always time for a private conversation. Incredibly loving people! We would have liked to give more than 5 stars! :-)

An attract apartment, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay, in a beautiful & peaceful location.

Perfect for a trip with friends. The host is always available and helpful. The accommodation is perfectly equipped for relaxing evenings. Checking in and out went smoothly. It has everything you need for a vacation with friends and/or a bachelor party!

The piano... The guitar... The artworks... The comfort... The hosts... It's a rare find. Everything was more than perfect. 10 minutes walk to Zaandam Station. Close to many attractions. Ben is a perfect host, he recommended us everything we need and more. The barn will stop being an Airbnb in a couple of years, so, book it ASAP!

Perfect stay. Short distance to the city center and to the train station that takes you to Amsterdam in just 25 minutes.

We had a great Easter weekend at Jan's place. Very good location, for example to get to Amsterdam by train. There are plenty of parking spaces (side street). Small but nice. Completely sufficient for a great time in Holland. Thank you for this.

We had a great 5 day stay in Mischa’s Amsterdam apartment. The unit is very bright, well equipped and spacious enough to spread out. The washer and dryer are an added benefit especially if you are making multiple stops in your travels. The beautiful fresh flowers were also a nice touch. The immediate area, on a leafy canal, is lovely, and excellent restaurants and museums are all within walking distance. Mischa was very accommodating and upon our early arrival graciously arranged for us to drop off our luggage. She also communicated with us promptly and to ensure we were comfortable and that our needs were met. This is a wonderful base for travel in Amsterdam.
