Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Zaanstad

Great spot to stay in for what we needed! Staying for a couple of nights before heading off fishing about 90 mins away. Easy to access Amsterdam, 3 stops on the train and 5 min walk to station. Chi’s place was great. Boss games room and loads of space to chill and relax. Will definitely be back 👍🏻

My friend and I choose to stay here, since it was close to Zaanse-Schaans and Amsterdam Noord. And I must say: It’s the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever been to so far. I’d definitely recommend it to others, who’d like to wind out and relax after a very long day in the city and just wanna feel like home: this is the place. Marjolein has put so much love and detail to make this place super cozy. I really loved it. And the neighborhood feels super safe and there are some cafes close by with a nice view of the harbor. Definitely a must stay place, if you’re looking for a relaxing place. Thanks a lot Marjolein for letting us stay here.

We've stayed for 7 days. The house is perfect for a small family, and for a holidays break. If you like a quiet place, with easy access to Amsterdam, the location of the house is perfect. If you are an animal's lover, Zorro et Nacho, are very friendly cat's and they welcoming you.

Everything was relaxed and went well - from the simple check-in - we were kindly allowed to check in earlier - to the communication and the departure. The house is located in a very nice, idyllic residential area, 10 minutes' walk from the train station with a good connection to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, to the cultural site Zaanse Schanz. But the sea is also easy to reach. The house was bright and had a very inviting open kitchen and living room, where you could relax well after sightseeing. We can highly recommend the accommodation if you want to escape the hustle and bustle in the evening and want to combine the advantages of some peace and nature with good accessibility to Amsterdam.

We had a nice stay at Aarts house and enjoyed the cozy and rural landscape. The apartment offered enough room for a group of 13. A special thing were the animals that we were allowed to pet. Very cute. We highly recommend to visit this house.

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

The tiny house is thoughtfully designed and has everything you’ll need during your stay in Haarlem. Bas was a communicative host and made sure that I felt right at home.

We had a great time at Irma's place. The accommodation is very clean, pleasant, well-equipped. The environment is very nice. Irma is a very friendly and responsive host. We will come back without hesitation!

Our stay at Hans’ place was fantastic. It was exactly as described - neat and clean, with great amenities and in an excellent location. Hans is incredibly friendly and a wonderful host. He provided a map of the city with tons of recommendations, and the bikes were so great for getting around. There were nice touches like that all throughout his place, it’s obvious how much he cares about creating a welcoming environment. If you have the opportunity to stay here I can’t recommend it enough. This is everything Airbnb is supposed to be.

Trudy's place was everything we expected and more. The location was quiet and private while a short walk to the central train station and from there, a quick ride into Central Amsterdam. We found the apartment spotless and comfortable in every way and our hosts were as gracious and accommodating ad we could have hoped for. If we have the opportunity to stay in Haarlem in the future, we will look forward to staying at Trudy's place.

Max is incredibly helpful. The apartment is modern, stylish and in a great location for visiting Amsterdam. The streetcar is just around the corner as is a market and numerous restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Els was very flexible about the arrival. She was extremely accommodating and very very attentive in the form of small amenities such as drinks and snacks. Even bikes were provided to us. We were positively surprised.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Tess’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Tess met us for check in to show us the beautiful accommodations. She provided local recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the extra touches she put into making the place feel special. There were live flowers in vases, a bottle of wine, waffles, and coffee ready for us. I found everything to be just perfect.

A truly unique accommodation experience. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it poses no obstacle for self-driving travelers. Situated within a yacht club, each unit comes with a small private pier offering beautiful views. The facilities are quite sufficient, making it an ideal spot for families to spend a few days.

Ester’s condo was the cleanest and coziest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. My husband and I stayed for four days and the space, which is beautifully decorated, exceeded our expectations. Ester, who was an outstanding communicator, greeted us and provided personalized recommendations for activites during our stay. The entire condo was spotless and the kitchen had everything necessary for cooking. The balcony was also a great spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. Adding to its quality, the condo is located conveniently near many restaurants, shops, and public transportation into downtown Amsterdam. We would definitely stay again and encourage anyone in the area to do so as well!
