Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Zaanstad

We had a great time at Brenda's house! The accommodation is great for families. You immediately feel at home and everything is taken care of. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything is very clean. With the bicycles you can quickly get to the bakery, but for trips to Harlem and to the beach we preferred the car. For us (4 adults and 2 toddlers) the accommodation was perfect. Thank you, dear Brenda!

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful weekend in Uitgeest as a family of five. The surroundings with the windmill, the meadows with lots of water, nature and the beautiful place just around the corner are the perfect starting point for various excursions to the sea or to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Our hosts were always very friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you need and is beautifully cozy. We will be happy to come back!

A great and clean house in a quiet neighborhood. With 8 people, we got along with the rooms and bathroom spaces. Pool was in our satisfaction!

We spontaneously booked with Beke for 4 days and everything went very smoothly from the beginning. She welcomed us very warmly and we immediately felt very comfortable in the beautiful accommodation. The house is very lovingly furnished and has everything we wanted. A nice place to relax. The surroundings of the house are also very beautiful and it is even possible to reach the beach within about 70 minutes through the nature reserve. We could also easily reach the beach by car and park for free in the nearby area. The proximity to Alkmaar, a beautiful cozy town, is also very pleasant. There are many nice restaurants and small shops. We enjoyed our time at Beke very much and will be happy to come back. Thank you again for the loving hospitality. Even though this lovely home was located so close by the beach, a walk of 5 minutes, it felt very private and the surroundings are quiet. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were extremely comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and felt like a cozy home. We enjoyed walking to and on the beach, had a delicious dinner in the village and in nearby villages as well. The hosts were very proactive with communication and responded quickly to questions. I am recommending this 100% to anyone interested a stay in Wijk Aan Zee and I am hoping to book this again on my next visit. I’ve traveled all over the world and I’ve stayed at many Airbnb /hotels etc. Joyce’s place and her communication was as good as you can wish for. Highly recommend in every way. Not sure a host could be better! She addressed all my needs and it was simply a perfect stay. A+++++

Thomas is really a great host, very accommodating and helpful! We had a great stay and felt completely comfortable. There were four of us who could have stayed there. The beds were comfortable and we would check back in anytime!

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment has a modern a spacious kitchen and it was a pleasure to have our morning coffee there. There's a cozy little yard where you can hang out and a stylish newly renovated bathroom. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and communicative. Definitely the nicest airbnb we've ever been to in Amsterdam!

Excellent location! Very nice neighborhood, walkable everywhere, supermarkets close by, restaurants nearby...Jurgen was very proactive, responsive and very flexible.

A comfortable and beautiful flat in a peerless location. Only problem is that you won't want to leave to explore Amsterdam as sitting at the window in the flat is so beguiling.

Olivier was super reactive and concilient on our trip, I really appreciated his attention to make our trip excellent. His hours is lovely, and we got to enjoy ou weekend thanks to his fantastic place !

The cottage was beautiful, very peaceful with views of sheep and the hosts happy chickens walking about. We were able to get public transport into the centre of Amsterdam fairly easily, the bus stop is super close by and they come regularly. Having two bathrooms was great as there were 5 of us! The honesty box was lovely and very helpful for when we first arrived, this contained cold drinks, snacks and honey from their own bees. Thanks for having us! 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Adva’s place! The house is beautifully tucked away in nature and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was exactly as described — clean, well-equipped, and very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. The self check-in was smooth and Adva’s instructions were super clear. We also loved the forest walks right outside the door. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and relax.

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

Such a lovely cabin with a beautiful garden. It is much bigger than the pictures allow. Very close to bus station to get into Amsterdam and also about £20 - £30 Uber ride to Amsterdam. Martien is very lovely, and gave us a few suggestions to visit. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. 100% recommend.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

Lovely area & accommodation. The bikes were extremely helpful & easy to get out. The hosts were very kind & offered us help with places to go around Amsterdam etc. Cannot recommend this AirBnB more!

A super beautiful, quiet and cozy house. We had a great time! The photos capture the vibe accurately. Plus you have horses in view at any time you want. An easy 15 mins walk to the beach & approx. 20/25 mins to town and the nearest restaurants/bars. Tjeerd & Laurie are super responsive and always offer kind advice when needed. We’d be happy to come back another time!
