A delightful stay! The waterfront cottage is located near various amenities. A nice shopping center. The train station is a 10 min walk away, so you are within 20 minutes in Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans 15 minutes. The Strand, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful accommodation!

The place is great, but teddy is an absolute gem. I was sick the night I came in with a bad fever. I was actually trying to cancel my reservation. But I couldn’t. I spoke with Teddy, he said he would take care of me and he did. He served me a big plate of fruits, gave me medicine, and was just so sweet. Honestly can’t say enough good stuff about the guy.

We stayed here for two nights. The tiny house is at the back of a very long garden. During the stay we enjoyed the privacy very much. Sylvia and Mick regularly inquired if everything was okay and even gave us homemade jam and eggs from our own chickens as a welcome gift. Communication, friendliness and flexibility were great. 10/10.
