We had a lovely stay at Mike's place. The house is in a great location on a quiet street with a nice walk into the city centre. The house was as desribed and very clean. Mike was a great host, providing lots of recommendations of things to do in the local area and very responsive to questions. I would definitely recommend it for a weekend trip to York.

The host was really helpful, communication was responded to quickly and she initiated contact to check all was well. The property is exactly as described, clean, it has everything you'd need, on a quiet residential cul-de-sac with no through road. A 15 minute walk to the centre of York. The decoration is calming and I felt at home, the welcome pack included bread, milk, jam, tea, coffee, sugar and condiments. I would recommend this property and I will be staying again.

Juliet’s place is absolutely beautiful. So peaceful, beautiful and very easy to get to Ilkley and surrounding areas! Juliet and her husband have been amazing always making sure I’ve got everything I need. Very knowledgeable and friendly made me feel very welcome and at home. I’ll definitely go back next year and hopefully they will host me again Thank you both

An amazing beautiful house in a wonderful location! Stunning Victorian townhouse in a great location close to the centre and everything walkable. Lovely restaurants n your doorstep - would reccommend Valentino’s. The house has everything you need and if you have a little one, they literally have everything to keep them happy, books, playhouse, play kitchen, toys, literally everything. Great sized beds, beautiful lounge - me and my extended family had a great weekend. Hosts were really great, very helpful with lots of hints and tips for local places and places to visit. A perfect stay in York :-)

We had a fantastic stay at Paul’s Airbnb! Our family of four felt right at home — the space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Paul was incredibly responsive making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the area!

It is difficult to express how great the house and area was. Gaynor made us feel welcome and almost valued friends even though we actually only met her face to face on our last morning. Everything in the house worked and was geared to making our stay at the house enjoyable. The information about the city and places to visit was very comprehensive and useful to us as first time visitors to York. Thanks so much Gaynor.

Rachel’s place is nicely organized, close to the walls and in a quiet neighbourhood. The check-in was smooth as well.

I had a lovely stay here—very peaceful and comfortable. The accommodation is separate but close to the main house, so you occasionally see people passing the windows or working in the garden. Not a problem, just something to note. The bed was comfy, temperature perfect, and the shower worked great. There’s no kitchen, which made things a bit tricky. A microwave, toaster, and kettle are provided, but the toaster set off the fire alarm twice during my stay. And there’s no sink—so dishes have to be washed in the bathroom with no drying space. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the bus runs regularly (just not exactly as listed on Google—usually 5 minutes later). The listing was accurate about the location and facilities. I enjoyed my time here and would recommend this place to other travellers.

Just had a wonderful stay at this property, which is located just a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. The check-in details were on point and we easily found and accessed the property with no issues. Once inside the photos were a true representation of the flat. The location as above was second to none, although next to a fairly busy road (masked by bushes), the glazing did a great job and we could not hear anything, it was also nice to look out over the town walls. We only had 1 issue regarding cleaning and that was the cooker hood, which did not look like it had been cleaned for months, leading to a strong cooking smell all over the flat. So ended up cleaning it myself and contacting Pass the Keys who dropped off additional dishwasher tablets (even though on instructions it stated not to use the dishwasher). All in all a great property, easily walkable to all the main attractions, with parking right outside the door.

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Our stay in York was just what we wanted. The flat had everything we needed and provided a perfect location for visiting York with it being a short walk from the minster and town centre. The entire time Melanie was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions for accessing the flat. Highly recommend this property and the host for a weekend away to explore the city!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay over the weekend. The apartment was as described, nice and clean. Our hosts were amazing and very responsive. Will definitely re-book if another trip to York is planned. Highly recommend ☺️

The accomodation was immaculate. Couldnt be in a better location for walking into York...part of the city wall walk just outside apartmemts. Decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Cosy and warm... Excellent communication. Would definatly recommend .

A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

Fabulous stay at Jo's place, spotlessly clean, had all the amenities and so peaceful. Loved watching the chickens in the gardens. Unfortunately didn't get to meet Jo in person, but all correspondence through Airbnb she promptly replied to. Thanks Jo, we would love to come back. ❤️

From booking our stay at Ashley’s apartment right through to check-out, our experience was excellent. Ashley was always responsive when we had a question both before and during our visit. The apartment was perfect for what we needed: clean, modern and within a 15 minute walk of York’s key landmarks, such as the cathedral and the Shambles. An absolute gem and would definitely look to book again when we next visit York. Thank you Ash for a wonderful stay!

We stayed for a single night while working for a couple of days in Leeds, much better than being in a busy city centre hotel. Cottage was clean and well equiped, host communicated well with easy access for our late evening arrival and early morning departure. Would return if we are in Leeds again.

Jackie’s spacious Airbnb was 5 star+. This was the best Airbnb we had stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jackie had thought of everything to make it feel like home. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. The kitchen had everything required to self cater. The basket of goodies was much appreciated. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows and crisp white linen. The large bathroom included a washing machine and a fabulous shower. Communication with Jackie was easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting York and it’s surrounds.

We enjoyed our stay in Sophie’s place. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It was also well situated for exploring the delightful city of Ripon and the surrounding area.

Perfection!! Clive's place is a wonderful place to stay. Clive and Julie are great hosts, friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. The welcome 'goodies' were very appreciated and tasty. The unit is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, the bed is super comfy and the shower is large with good water pressure. The outdoor area is a real delight, we sat and watched the ducks, the other birds (saw kingfishers!) and the squirrels. We had everything we needed for a happy, memorable stay. There are lots of walks in the area, plus a number of interesting things to see and do. It's an easy train ride to York, Harrogate and Leeds and the station is a short walk from the unit. There are a lot of pubs and cafes within easy walk - The Half Moon pub does delicious pizza! Overall, we very highly recommend Clive's unit and would return often if we could.

Excellent apartment, we stayed for the week as we were going to a wedding in Harrogate. The apartment was so central to everything, the bus station, the train station, and the main shopping area. The apartment itself was equipped to the highest standard, and the extras Maureen provided were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this area. And I would certainly book this place again when visiting Harrogate. Thank you to the host Maureen, your home was beautiful.
