Kid-friendly holiday rentals in York

Home from home. What a wonderful place! It was our first time visiting York and we had such a brilliant time, we will definitely be back! And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else other than Graeme’s place! The accommodation was within walking distance of the town centre and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The place was spotless throughout, the bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen and the shower had good pressure. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended up staying extra night! Thanks again Graeme for a lovely stay :)

Lovely place to stay. Clean and well equipped. Easy walk into the city centre. Lisa provided lots of useful information prior to our stay and was easy to contact during the stay. Would definitely stay here again

The house was well positioned close to the river, making for a pleasant stroll into the city and public transport. It contained everything needed for a comfortable stay, and was a cosy retreat after a long day of exploring. The host Mike ensured that check in went smoothly and was quickly responsive to questions (like how to walk there from the railway station). Highly recommended.

Silvia's home is very comfortable, clean and welcoming with everything we needed. She's a great host and encouraged us to get in touch if we had any questions. The house is in a good location for visiting York on foot and we had no problem parking on the street. There are supermarkets nearby and lots of places to eat within a 10 minute walk. The city was a really interesting to visit and I would highly recommend a stay at Sylvia's house!

Had a lovely weekend in York celebrating my husband’s 60th Birthday. Accommodation was lovely and you could walk into the centre of York. The welcome pack was a lovely thought. Oliver and Gemma gave us lots of information where to eat etc and we’re really helpful. Thanks Alex

We had a fantastic stay at Paul’s Airbnb! Our family of four felt right at home — the space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Paul was incredibly responsive making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the area!

A beautiful home to stay in, so quaint and welcoming. It was well equipped, beautifully furnished and comfortable beds. The location was also perfect - easily walkable into the centre of York, but also situated in a quiet part of the city in a leafy green area. We also appreciated you accommodating our request to drop off our luggage a couple of hours early. Many thanks and wouldn't hesitate to book again when next visiting, best wishes.

We really enjoyed staying at Gary’s place. Gary was friendly with fast clear communication. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Off street parking was a big plus and we could walk in to York centre in 25mins. Thank you Gary for a great stay.

We had a really nice visit. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and quiet it was. It felt like we were in the countryside. We both slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic, it was a few minutes walk to the city walls and very close to York minster. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the apartment. Many thanks

Well placed for all the amenities of York, station, restaurants and so on. Good secure parking, close to bus routes but walkable to the centre. Very quiet and peaceful stay.

Listing is as advertised. Stairs to unit are easy to climb. Such a wonderful cozy place to stay. The bed and pull out were both quite comfortable. Seems recently renovated, nice touches with decor items. The Shambles is across the street. A perfect place to stay while in York. Lovely rooftop views.Quiet inside the flat.Glad we stayed here!

We loved our stay at this property - it was a super location steps to all the sights and restaurants in York, but quiet and comfortable. Great water pressure in the lovely, clean shower and the bed was very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Highly recommended for exploring amazing York!

This is our second time staying in this lovely flat . It’s light , airy , modern and very clean -and we love the view over the Foss River . We also love how close it is to the city centre - we were able to walk in very quickly , it took about 10 minutes . Definitely recommend this little gem ! We will be back

Paul sent excellent directions for us to make our way from the train station and then he met us upon our arrival. This accommodation is very bright, clean and comfortable and in a fantastic location. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. All the kitchen ware is a very nice quality. Paul left us a generous welcome package of fruit and treats which was greatly appreciated. Paul is a caring and attentive host and it was lovely to meet him. We look forward to our next visit. Great apartment in the heart of the city, we were able to leave our bags in the restaurant before check in to explore the city and the apartment was ready early!

The perfect place, easy walk to all York has to offer, thru beautiful Museum Gardens. gorgeous place , pristine, comfortable had everything we needed to mKe our stay we wanted to stay on Would absolutely recommend for a stay in York. Also the lovely welcome tray was appreciated, brekkie both mornings sorted!

Absolutely beautiful flat right in the center of York, the balconies and living room have views over York Minster and the location is very walkable to all the major attractions. We loved the location, parked the car and forgot about it which is helpful in York as there is very little parking and what there is is expensive. The flat was very comfortable, larger even then we expected and very stylish interiors and good quality kitchen and bathroom. The instructions provided were easy to follow and we didn't feel we needed to contact the host. Fab stay for our family and we'll be back soon!
