Great spot for visting family in Bradford

Stayed for a long weekend for my daughter’s birthday, to see a concert at Temple Newsham. Very handy for the venue, and also for local food - can recommend a take out from Aryaan down the road! Jo very friendly and helpful with local advice.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village and so easy to get in to York and other places. Loved the cafe in the village as well, super handy. All rooms beautifully decorated and everything we needed!

Beautiful, well presented house on the outskirts of York. A little too far to walk to the centre with a young family but only a short drive away. On street parking is available but can get busy. The hot tub was fantastic and a real hit with our five year old! House is very clean and modern. Thanks for the stay guys!

Lovely cottage for 2. Well stocked kitchen and a lovely welcome hamper to get started. Felt really secure. The hot tub was marvellous and great after a day out. Nice little patio to sit out on for breakfast. Nearest village is about 30 minutes walk away or 5 minute drive with plenty of nice pubs. Good location for exploring North Yorkshire and managed to get taxis to and from York if you’re willing to pay about £27. Plenty of parking. Had no issues whilst there so didn’t have to contact Becky for anything. Really good information sent prior to going so knew exactly what to do when we got there. Becky wasn’t in but responded immediately when I phoned her and explained how to get in to the farm grounds. Bed was really comfortable. Only downside was the road noise at night when in bed, would recommend taking ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Would recommend Becky’s place for a romantic getaway.

Gilbertson cottage was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and just completely breath taking. We came on a Hen do & just could not get over how unreal every single aspect of the house was. It made our whole weekend. It was everything and more that we could have asked for & I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve already spoke about a few of us coming back with our partners and children! What a beautiful place. Very homely feeling from opening the door to sleeping in comfy beds with crisp fresh linen. Beautiful views, very peaceful, lots of amazing nature around. Quiet neighbourhood, private atmosphere. Great places to visit nearby. Friendly and helpful hosts, who prepared welcome hamper for us. Fantastic for a break from every day noise.

Such an amazing stay, I couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough! The location is perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, the pod is beautiful with great amenities. We loved the outdoor facilities and making the most of the countryside. Made a very special birthday trip. Would definitely love to come back again - thank you!

Lovely little wigwam to stay in. Very peaceful and has all of the necessities that are needed. The hot tub was nice and very needed for our night away. I have no bad things to say about it.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was really beautifully decorated with great attention to detail—it felt cozy and inviting from the moment we arrived. The hot tub was a lovely touch and made the experience even more relaxing. The host was very responsive and made sure everything we needed was available. We’ve just returned from Lapwing Lodge. Beautiful location, very peaceful and the facilities were everything we needed. The photos don’t do it justice. The cabin was spotless and the hottub was a great bonus. Arrived to a very easy check in and we were even given until midday to leave on the departure date. Would definitely be interested in returning in the future.

This Airbnb is beautiful! Such a relaxing spot and I would say even better than the pictures. I felt very safe. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we could need. Thank you so much!

Louise’s lodge is absolutely beautiful and in a very peaceful location. The rooms were absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub is a lovely addition and the fact that it is in the back garden for privacy made it even better. The location of the accommodation is fantastic, around a 30 minute drive to York city centre and also has great bus links to both York and the nearby town of Pocklington. Thank you Louise, we will definitely come back to your lovely lodge!

Absolutely incredible! Beautiful area and so peaceful 😊 so much space and incredible place never cold in the accommodation, can’t say anything besides just book it, close enough to things you need if you drive as well 😊
