Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

Lovely little place, perfect for a get away break. The hottub was great to relax in. The goats are gorgeous and so friendly. The family dog was a welcome visitor. Amazing to sit and listen to the birds and look at the beautiful scenery.

We had a fantastic stay at Sonia's place, the cottage was beautiful and was perfect for our family to stay over New Year. There was lots to do in the area and the cottage was in a great location. The hot tub was a fab addition in the frosty weather! Communication with Sonia was good and quick. Thank you! 😊

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely holiday home which is in a stunning location overlooking Robin Hoods Bay. It really was an unbeatable location. Steve was a fantastic host, giving us all the information we needed about the property and location. He also left us some welcome extras in the fridge 😊 The property was clean and well presented, and the hot tub and snooker room were enjoyable extras. We would happily return to this beautiful, peaceful spot in the future.

What a beautiful place to stay, I wish we’d booked more than one night, we will definitely back, the little touches were lovely aswell, milk and Prosecco in the fridge and ice in the freezer, it was perfect. Thank you

A lovely relaxing home with lots of lovely touches. The hosts were so welcoming, gave us lots of local tips and didn’t mind us asking lots of questions! Highly recommend as a base to go off walking in the Peaks or Dales. Nice local pubs too. The kids loved the trampoline. Thank you

Richard was a fantastic host for our Easter family holiday. Beautiful cottage, stunning surroundings and immaculate, one of the best AirBnB places we’ve stayed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the country. Local pub was fab and very friendly for our 6 year old.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. We had a great stay as a family of 4 and the kids especially loved having the horses in the field out the front. Lucy was a great host! We would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, spacious home! The house was perfect for our group—it was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. One of the biggest highlights was the location—just a short drive and walk to the wedding we were attending, which made everything so convenient. It was great to be able to get ready together in such a nice space and come back to unwind after the celebration. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was smooth and easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone attending events in the area or just looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful home.

Excellent place to stay in Scarborough. Great location, only 5 minutes from the beach. The house was lovely and the beds were so comfy. Caroline and Jon were great hosts and were very prompt in replying to any queries. Would highly recommend, and would stay again.

We loved our stay in this beautiful spacious home. So peaceful at night. Minutes from the bus into town which my daughter loved, and having a garden whilst being so close to town was wonderful. It has everything you need including comfy beds. We had a takeaway from the local Indian a five minute walk away which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Fantastic location - very close to centre of town, just yards away from the Market Square. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. My stay there could not have been more enjoyable.

Lovely apartment in a quiet area yet close enough to walk into York. Rosie was helpful on the lead up to arriving and once we had arrive.

Great house, location and hosts

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

This hidden gem was perfect for our family getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. we were welcomed with a smile, and a beautiful home made cake and loaf of bread, as well as a fun "boo-basket' with hot chocolate, smores ingredients and a pumpkin to carve. cottage was exactly as described and clean and tidy. we loved the indoor swimming pool and games room, allowing us the holiday fun irrespective of the weather. The Coachman Inn pub only a mile away, had the freshest pint and one of the best steaks we've ever had. close to Pickering, were we took the steam train to Goathland, and Dalby forest to go swing at Go Ape and ride bikes. and only 30 mins from Whitby to get a dose of sea-side and fish n chips! the grounds of the cottage were beautiful too, for a lovely evening stroll, where we met the sweetest chickens and ducks. Truly a fab week away to recharge the batteries !! thanks so much!! and will definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing weekend at Rachael's caravan, this was our second visit and we 100% plan on coming again. Rachael is a wonderful host who is easy to contact and she takes pride in her beautiful caravan. The caravan was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely, as the weather was warm we spent most of our time outside on the decking which had plenty of seating space and the hot tub was a great added extra enjoyed mostly by the kids. There was plenty to do onsite including the swimming pool, a private dog park where you can let your doggos off lead and play. The staff at the main reception were friendly and helpful and the bar area was clean with lots food and drink options. We would highly recommend coming to stay at Serendipity and we will be visiting again.

Fabulous garden and location. Beautiful view from the sun room. Great pool, perfect temperature and very comfortable bed. All round lovely clean and quiet place.

Expensive but worth every penny for our 4 generation trip. Rooms for exuberant kids and quiet rooms for 90+ years old great grand parents. Large sociable kitchen diner . Swim spa at 35c so great for the Californian kids.

We had a fantastic stay in holmfirth. The cottage was right in the centre with easy access to everything. We managed to park close by and easily found the cottage especially due to all the ducks! Lovely little cottage which was spotless and had everything we needed. Angela was very responsive and helped out quickly with my questions. Perfect location. Perfect house. Perfect host. I stayed in Orchard House with my husband, daughter, son in law and two grandchildren aged 12 and 14. The host was so kind and had left milk, bread and a home made loaf for us. One morning we found a bowl of peaches from her garden on our doorstep. Jacqueline is nice and friendly and is available if you need to know anything. We loved everything about the house. Plenty room for us all. Great sized living room. Kitchen come dining room was ideal as were the 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The appliances are new and of the highest quality. Also made use of the log fire when we returned at night. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and table tennis. These activities were such an added bonus. A quiet peaceful location close to so many beautiful villages. Visited Thornton-le-Dale, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Filey, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, and went on the NYMR steam train from Pickering to Whitby.
