Monthly Rentals in Wild Acres

We really enjoyed our stay at Dylan’s cabin. Is was super cozy and pleasing. We enjoyed our evenings around the fire. This place was clean and cozy. Thanks for having us!

Mabel, my brown lab mix, and I had a great time staying at 'The Cottage'. The home was updated, clean and comfortable. An amazing lakeside spot with a huge deck to take in the views. It was a great break full of nature, solitude and quiet. Highly recommended and looking forward to going back.

We loved our stay here and cannot wait to visit again, a path (slightly over grown at first-- be aware of ticks, but thats a given while hiking-- but still very manageable and opens up shortly) led us to a beautiful waterfall area and the state park leading to stairs and 2 more waterfalls. Totally walkable, and a gem to have in the backyard. The little touches made it feel above and beyond, toiletries, slippers, fire starters, umbrellas etc... Milford which is an adorable town is nearby and tons of waterfalls and hiking around. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the daybed where we enjoyed our morning coffee and nightly card game.

This was exactly the break that my family needed for a couple of days. I loved having no TV and lots of opportunities to hike to see waterfalls and fresh air! The kitchen was well set up for meals at home. It was chilly and rained most of the time, but we played cards and talked - so great! We were able to have an outdoor fire the last night and it was perfect! My only recommendation (and this has nothing to do with the cute house) for people coming to the area is to bring some printed maps as the area has very little cell phone coverage and we might have missed some of what we wanted to see as we simply couldn't find it. The falls we hiked (Hackers, Raymondskill, Dingmans and Silver Thread) were amazing! I would rent this place again!
