Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Washington

The accommodation was beautiful and felt like home. We met Barb and she was so lovely and welcoming. The property is so close to all the historic sites and union station. Bed was comfy, sofa bed, shower n bathroom lovely. Kitchen had all you need. Barb had cookies made for us along with bottle of wine which was lovely touch. I’ll definitely recommend this property and if I get a chance to come back I will stay again.

Molley was an amazing host. Would definitely recommend her as host to anybody visiting DC.

It was a delight to stay with Carole. Carole is very welcoming and ready for a chat as schedules align. This bedroom is so peaceful, with everything you might need. The mattress, pillows, bedding, and towels all were of superior quality. Bus stops are easily accessible.

This was the first time I’ve used Airbnb and I was so happy with my pictures. I personally think that the pictures don’t do justice for how nice it is. Vincent’s place is extremely clean and so cozy. The little details were appreciated- coffee bar, the stickers with the directions, makeup towel, board games, utensils and dish ware, etc. I had no issue with parking. I liked that Vincent’s place was a bit away from downtown (only about 15 mins drive) because the area was so quiet and peaceful. I loved my stay and hope to be back.

Gabriela’s place was a haven amidst the bustle of DC. A quiet refuge, if you will. I found her husband and her to be friendly and responsive. There is a large grocery store around the corner from her place as well as some lovely restaurants. Do consider staying with them when in DC, it will be worth your while.

La suite è appena ristrutturata, curata nei dettagli, corrisponde esattamente alle foto e ha tutto il necessario per chi si sposta in viaggio. Non è possibile cucinare ma si può riscaldare con il microonde. La zona è sicura, il quartiere tranquillo e la sera si dorme bene. Gli host vivono al piano superiore e rispondono se serve qualcosa. I bambini sono educati e la mia permanenza lì mi ha consentito di riprendere le forze dopo un lungo viaggio e lavorare al meglio nei giorni successivi.

We loved our stay at Julie‘s Airbnb. Everything we needed and more was available at the apartment. The location was fantastic. We used the buses and Metro every day to access the mall and other places around the city. Julie responded quickly when we had a question. We look forward to coming back to Washington and staying here again.

Dale was wonderful! Place is right in the heart of the DC area so easy and quick to get to everything! Very lovely apartment with all the amenities even pretty much all the streaming channels. Cute, private outdoor patio to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and people watch! Definitely would rent again if we’re in the DC area. Don’t miss it!!

Richard's place is the best! We really appreciate his hospitality and responsiveness. The place is exactly as pictured, very clean and has everything we need. It's our second time staying there and we look forward to more times in the future.

My family and I spent the weekend in Washington, D.C., and we were fortunate to find Emily's place at the last minute after our previous arrangements fell through. It was a wonderful experience, and the hosts were lovely people! The only challenge we encountered was the noise in the early hours of the day. However, I don't consider this a complaint; it's just something to keep in mind when booking a co-living space. We discussed the possibility of noise with Emily beforehand, so again, it's something to be mindful of. Overall, meeting this interesting and cool family and their dog Charlie was a good experience and an absolute pleasure!

Such a great stay and very convenient location! Directly around the corner from the Metro. Perfect for an overnight stay in the city. Very detailed instructions to make check-in/put a breeze. Will happily stay here again!

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at George’s place. The location was perfect, we weren’t far at all from the attractions we wanted to see. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. My favorite area was the patio and my friends enjoyed the shower with the jets after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting DC.

Great place to stay. Close to cafes, restaurants, the metro. Ida’s instructions were great and the accommodation was exactly as described. We loved the accommodation and the neighbourhood and would choose to stay here again.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Cheri and Cliff’s home was immaculate! I will absolutely be booking for a future staycation! The bnb was so cute and they were extremely responsive! I was a little nervous that they were staying above the home at first, and despite the footsteps on the ceiling, there were no disturbances whatsoever; it will not deter me from future bookings with them! 10/10

This listing is just as good as advertised, with a convenient location close to popular spots throughout the DMV area. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated the free on-site parking. The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with modern gadgets that made the stay even more comfortable.
