Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Washington

I work in DC and live in the suburbs. I decided to stay in town on a Friday night to see a concert at the Lincoln theater. This was a great, walkable location for the theater plus lots of restaurants in the area. I had a great night. The apartment was spotless. The host gave great tips for things to do in the neighborhood. This was a quick trip for me but I hope to get back soon and I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this space. The location is great and allows for exploration of the city. The space itself was clean and spacious. My favorite piece was having access to the gym within the Fairmount hotel (if im not mistaken). Lastly, host(s) are extremely responsiveness. I had questions about the property prior to booking as i was booking extremely last minute and I received a quick response.

3227 N Street NW is without any competition the most wonderful Airbnb I have ever stayed at (and as a writer for a major guidebook publisher, I’ve stayed at more than a few!). The wonderfully contoured rooms are imaginably decorated, the bathroom and kitchen fully supplied with everything from shaving foam and razor to milk in the fridge, there is a delightful back garden and the accommodation (a spacious basement apartment with more than ample light) is within steps of everything: Georgetown University, the restaurants of M Street, the nightlife of Wisconsin Avenue, with the Mall and DC’s iconic sights and monuments just minutes away by bus or Uber. But best of all is the incomparable hostess Jan, who is a font of local and historical knowledge - ask her about Mary Todd Lincoln and her seances - beyond-the-call-of-duty generous with her time and assistance, and an interesting and well-travelled person who you will win your heart. Give her a hug for me!

This was our first time in Washington DC. This location is great with close access to the Capitol and surrounding monuments and museums. Elizabeth is very kind and helpful with places to go and things to do. There is a great neighborhood breakfast shop very close by and easy access to the subway and shared ride companies are easy to use at this location. The apartment is very cute, comfortable, and clean and Elizabeth provided many amenities to make our stay easy and comfortable. If we come back to visit DC, we will definitely look to stay here again! We have even recommended to our kids the next time they visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay Elizabeth!!

An amazing place to stay with an even better host! The place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Everything was within walking distance. We love the attention to the small details like the umbrellas, bags for groceries and metro cards. Even though we didn’t end up needing them we appreciated the thought that went into this place and care she took for us to feel at home. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot if you’re in town for some sightseeing, not too far from the National Mall and many historic sights and surrounded by lots of cool bars and restaurants in one of DC’s best neighborhoods. Easy to get in the apartment, everything was clean, comfortable, and as described. Thanks!

My husband and I love this place, this is the second time that we have stayed here. Whenever we come to DC, if available, we will continue to stay at this place! Wonderful, it is a short walk to the train station, trader joes, restaurants, and the market!

We had a very pleasant five day stay at Esther’s White House. The property was immaculate every way and had everything that you would require to make for a worry free stay. Esther made sure we felt welcome and her level of communication was just right. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

The accommodation was beautiful and felt like home. We met Barb and she was so lovely and welcoming. The property is so close to all the historic sites and union station. Bed was comfy, sofa bed, shower n bathroom lovely. Kitchen had all you need. Barb had cookies made for us along with bottle of wine which was lovely touch. I’ll definitely recommend this property and if I get a chance to come back I will stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the historic apothecary in Alexandria! This home was beautiful and the location is amazing. Dusty and Jules gave us great local recommendations and were responsive and helpful! Staying in this home was a highlight of our trip!

Perfect, central location with close proximity to the bus/metro, grocery stores (Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s) and so many (too many!) good eats. The host was extremely quick and easy to communicate with. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our family of 3. Would stay again!

I couldn't have found a better place and location for my solo work trip. My meetings were at the Convention Center 1.1 miles away so I walked there and back a couple days, and it was a safe walk. The space was as described, and the bed was super comfortable. I felt at home here. Sam replied immediately to any question I had, and was great to provide very helpful information on places to visit. The Coffee Bar is a 5 min walk away and had the best almond croissants I've ever had. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the patio. Trader Joes and restaurants were a short walk as well (15 mins). I really appreciated how clean and furnished this place was and hope to stay here again.

Eric’s place is wonderful in a very quaint neighborhood! Communication with Eric was excellent. The home is very comfortable and accommodating for families and large groups visiting. We were in town checking out the DC sites and the proximity from the home to the Glenmont Metro was close and easy. The kitchen is well equipped with just about every appliance or cooking utensil you could need to whip up a meal. There’s two washer and dryers and plenty of towels which is really convenient for large groups. The backyard hot tub was nice for relaxing especially after a 20,000 step day exploring DC (phew!) I would most definitely recommend this home and host!

We were looking for a place to stay for three days and Christine’s listing was worth it! She is incredibly thorough, considerate, flexible, and an excellent host who communicates well! The neighborhood is in a safe area with beautiful houses along the street. 10/10 would recommend!

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at George’s place. The location was perfect, we weren’t far at all from the attractions we wanted to see. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. My favorite area was the patio and my friends enjoyed the shower with the jets after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting DC.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Great place to stay. Close to cafes, restaurants, the metro. Ida’s instructions were great and the accommodation was exactly as described. We loved the accommodation and the neighbourhood and would choose to stay here again.

My husband and I came for the Nationals vs Cubs series and the location couldn’t have been better! The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Israel was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and made check in and check out smooth and hassle free! You can really tell he cares about his guests’ experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay!

We had the best time staying here for the week! It was easy to get around with the bus stops and the metro so close. It was also great to have a comfortable home to come back to after long sightseeing days! Cheri and Cliff were so helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely come back!

Thomas’ place was stunning. The view was amazing, and the entire space felt cozy, charming, extremely clean, and peaceful. The location was perfect—beautiful and walkable, close to Tysons malls, great restaurants, and the Tysons Metro station. A perfect spot for anyone visiting the DC area. Thomas was very attentive and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Overall, this is a top-notch place and probably my favorite choice when visiting the DC area.
