Monthly Rentals in Vandalia

We had a great stay! Just what we needed during a busy time in our lives. Easy to find and a nice little place. It is a very old home with quirks but we enjoyed our stay!

Darlene’s cottage is very cute and quiet. It was better even than the pictures and well worth the cost. Beds were comfortable, shower was excellent. She communicated well and her husband made us a loaf of bread. Watching the birds at the feeder was especially fun.

The location was perfect for my friends and me and our dogs. The large fenced in back. yard was great just wish it had been warmer so we could have enjoyed sitting outside. The street didn’t have a lot of fast cars and good for the one car that didn’t fit in the drive. A little noisy outside due to location close to freeway but made getting to where we were going super easy. Great big screen TV for watching horse racing! Didn’t need them much but really new upright washer and dryer was nice. Don communicated well and in a timely manner.

My stay was fantastic! The home was exactly as described—beautiful, clean, and even better in person. The only downside was the location. It’s situated on a very busy main road, which made it difficult to use the front door. We ended up accessing the house through the garage instead. That said, it was still a 10/10 experience, and I would definitely book again!
