Very nice little place! Air conditioning worked great, close restaurants, quiet neighborhood. Wish I could have stayed longer but a quick rest from Maryland to Florida. Very convenient to 95. John was very responsive…would definitely would stay again!

Me and my friends went for a girls trip to visit sapelo and stayed at Richard’s place and it was above and beyond our expectations!! It had everything we needed and was so “homey” feeling. I will definitely be coming back to stay there!

5 Stars across the board is definitely not enough stars for this Cottage Lighthouse & the effort that Patsy put into making us feel comfortable. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we knew this was going to be a wonderful place as the porch and yard were well maintained. We entered the Cottage Lighthouse and were greeted with snacks on the dining table, a coffee/tea bar fully stocked and a refrigerator with ice, juice and water. The cottage was immaculate in all areas and stocked with every amenity. All furniture was very comfortable. We went for several walks in the area and felt very safe. We also felt safe in the Cottage as well as having our vehicle parked in the driveway. Patsy lived next door to the Cottage & greeted us upon our arrival. She was very friendly & accommodating. Patsy provided us with some "must see" sights that were awesome (Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge!!) Patsy was very communicative & the perfect host. We can't thank her enough for her hospitality!!

Loved our stay at the Blue Heron. So spacious and all furnishings and kitchenware was all nice and up to date. Outside area was beautiful and fun to hang out in - our teenage boys loved the kayaks and playing football and ping pong outside. We took a few beach trips to Jekyll Island which was nice and quiet. Stephen was very responsive and made us feel very welcome. We would love to come back!
